14 Banquet Part 1

The second floor of the banquet room had some secluded VIP rooms facing the stage below. Anyone in the secluded room on the second floor could see what was happening below. The prince was in the room on the side and that way he was closer to the stage. What he was interested in was the people sitting on the front row. All the tables in the front were reserved for some VIP stakeholders and important guests. Since he was just a spectator, he decided not to attend the event.

Not long after Prince Hue Chi arrived into the room with his butler, Kao Sheng arrived as well. She wore a dazzling V-neck, fluttering high to low-end gold dress. She exuded an air of an intelligent high-class elite woman who knew her ways of being in the top pyramid. Her maid came with her and was on standby in the room with Butler Zeu.

Kao Sheng came and sat across from the prince. The table was aligned next to the window, Prince Hue Chi sat with the stage on the left front of him. He would have to glance left and Kao Sheng had to turn to her right side to observe the people below.

It mattered least to Kao Sheng if she could see what was happening below or not. The most important thing was that she was alone in a room with her prince and at that moment, that was all that mattered to her. That way, he would not be disturbed by all the commotion below but would have enough time and space to solely focus on her.

She felt extremely special and nervous that the person she had admired for so long chose to be alone with her. Since the previous day, she had been practicing the very same scene with him many times before coming, in hope to leave a good impression on him by putting on her best act - quiet, reserved and passive. A good and kind behavior suited the future queen yet at the same time, allowed enough room for the king to take the limelight.

As everyone was busy meeting new and old people, the four people from Lyon entered the room. Yu Sha was clad in a solid sparking turquoise silk dress that wrapped around her body with a small bow on the right side of the waist and slit open on the right thigh down.

Su Na wore a black dress with golden colored flower pattern design, flared below the knee and a touch of a small gold pendant necklace and gold bracelet. She looked sharp, elegant and sexy… just perfect for the young boss of SNYS Consultant.

Keo had chosen a custom made royal blue suit and Leo… a custom made, maroon-colored suit, both from Antique.

When the four people walked in, they were directed to their reserved table at the front row. Five minutes passed, the MC went up to the stage and made a short welcome speech and then he welcomed Ether CEO, Lue Han to go up.

Lue Han stood up and walked on the stage. He grabbed the mic. "Thank you, everyone, who came tonight. This is a very important project for us. Since a few groups are involved, we decided to have this event so that the various groups can have a chance to know each other." 

He then welcomed SNYS Consultant to go up for being the group who planned and designed everything and was from out of the country. They were the special guests of the night.

As soon as Lue Han finished, the light shone onto the side of the table that Su Na and Yu Sha sat at. Everyone clapped their hands welcoming SNYS Consultant but even though they sat next to each other, only Su Na stood up. She made her way up to the podium on stage, looked around the room, and proceeded. "Thank you for having us tonight. We are honored to be selected among the many other groups, who, I am sure are just as talented. Thanks to the investors and Ether who put their faith in us. On behalf of SNYS Consultant, I assure to not disappoint you all."

Su Na bowed as soon as she finished but before she could walk away, Lue Han interrupted. "Miss Su Na, would you mind introducing your staff who came with you and what her role is?"

Being put in the spotlight, Su Na could not decline so she picked up the mic. "Sure, my assistant Yu Sha, is here with me and she will assist me from start to finish."

"Can we have Miss Yu Sha come up to the stage, please?" The host added. The light shone onto Yu Sha.

Yu Sha fidgeted as she had never spoken in front of big elite groups before but glancing at Su Na who nodded, gesturing her to walk up, she decided to trust her friend. It was at that moment when Yu Sha stood up with the light shining on her that made people realize how stunning she was.

The silk materials enhanced her curves and feminine figure. The sparkles on the dress shimmered like diamonds; her silver eyes glimmering from the reflection of the light made everyone feel like they just saw the sea glistening in the morning light.

CEO Lue Han was lost for words. He had not blinked even once and stared at Yu Sha as she made it step by step to the stage. She looked so comforting to the eyes and heart that it made him feel like he was about to have a heart attack. Lue Han blushed, feeling flushed and hot. He was not sure if the rays from all the lights were making him hot or it was the effect of seeing someone so beautifully enchanting. How could someone be so therapeutic for the eyes and soul? Even the audience was speechless.

Leo knew Yu Sha's beauty mesmerized all the people in the room. He laughed quietly inside his heart but his face could not conceal his happiness. He leaned closer to his brother and whispered, "I told you… it's not for my own benefit. It's for everyone's benefit."

"Tsch…" Keo was irritated at his brother but he could not deny that his brother was right. The woman who kept popping up in his mind and heart looked magnificent, that night.

Once Yu Sha joined her friend on stage, the host, for a brief moment lost his train of thoughts.

After a minute, he finally was able to get himself back to reality. "I... ah… I... just have a few questions to ask you, ladies, if you don't mind answering them for us." He inhaled a sharp breath to calm down his thumping heart. "Phew... um... How did SNYS Consultant emerge out? Everyone is curious to know how two breathtaking ladies were able to win bids for major projects in several countries?"
