Ria Sparrows couldn't help but feel a sense of triumph as he stares at the girl who was now devoured by the darkness. The darkness who had taken the shape of the great wolf had now buried its razor-sharp teeth in her. Even divine power would not be able to protect her completely.
Ria Sparrows knew that the limits of divinity when the castor is weak. He had ordered the mass obliteration of priests with high amount of divine power. It is high likely that they sought help from a local priest in the barren lands. Those are the ones who can barely do anything with their divine power. Although they had hindered Ria now, he thought that he shouldn't be shaken at all. After all, in the end, he will just arrive into the same outcome.
He crossed his arms over his chest and peered down to the wolf. Oddly enough, the wolf wasn't moving.
Usually by this time the wolf should have continued to devour, but no—it wasn't doing anything at all.
