Clave city

The city which was built after the first foundation of Astoria was made at Jabe city. It was the second built city and also very close to Jabe city, even though this city was way much better than Jabe city in all aspects. Cause it never lacked the presence of few top echelon from all over the empire who had business as well as factories here. As a result of this little benefit which the top echelon brought to the city, the city strive much better and it never lack even in renovations. The city had a good trade union here for all goods which are transported from Jabe city, it was also said that this city had a secert underground market where illegal deals took place. As a center for marketing precious raw minerals; the city held much secret compared to any other city in the entire empire, which the royal family knows nothing about all it's hidden activities carried out here. Though lots of sercurity agent from various cycles were placed here, still all it's activity hasn't been undetected yet. Though several reasons played part in it been unseen by the entire public, of what the city really specializes on; but from the bystanders point of view the city was prosperous.

At a average building with not much rooms in it, was the clave city police division; where all security details regarding the city was handled. The building was located at the mid of the city, to aid quick response from the police regarding issues arising in the city at all times.

At a room in the building, was a man who sat at a official desk while sipping on his coffee. Soon a phone rang from his personal cell, and he took the call and said ** how may I be of service to you sir ** in a very low and submissive tone. He payed proper attention to all what was ordered by him from the man on the other side, afterwards he asked ** what about officer Mark **. What followed after his question was a series of promises afterwards he said ** consider it done ** and he smiled after dropping the call, then stood up and walked out his office.

At the border between clave city was a group of men who wore police uniform standing at the entrance of the city checking all travelers. Adeline who had shifted back to human walked into the line and stood along the crowd of people coming in, soon she began hearing low murmurs from the crowd of people persent. ** I heard there is a fugitive trying to sneak into the city ** a man said, and a woman chimed in ** yeah I heard whoever the person is has a wanted note to their name** and she sneered after saying it.

** what a waste,,,, whoever the person is must be involved in illegal activities** an old man said, while the line kept on moving slowly. Adeline looked at the front and saw that indeed the number of police men are much compared to last time, but she was never worried cause it wasn't her they were after. Slowly it got to her turn after a while and the police man in charge of checking her asked of her luggage, she replied non and he asked her why she was coming here. Adeline replied to see a friend who lives here, and the police man watched her closely afterwards pulled out a device which had a picture in it and looked at it. He looked at her one last time and looked at the picture; thereafter pulled his walkie-talkie and said ** found our suspect,,, requesting backup** and he moved towards Adeline to apprehend her. Seeing the outcome of event Adeline knew that things had gone south, she then thought back to the jungle and reasoned that one of the men must've had photographic memory as his special ability. She swung the cops hand to the side and kicked the calf of his legs, and she gathered all her energy and shifted into a cat while running through the city gate. Knowing the outcome of event Adeline knew she couldn't run back to the jungle, and she needed help now more than anything so she kept running through the city's entrance. Soon it became a chase between her and the police; as few members from the cops outside chased her into the city. Several more cops started chasing the cat from all division which she ran across, and a kid pointed at the cat ** mom look it's a cat chase ** and the mother pulled her kid ** no honey that cat his bad **. While Adeline kept running through several alley all in hopes of shaking off the cops, yet till no avail and she wondered if maybe one of the cop at the gate had the ability of reconnaissance. She curse at her luck for having all things going wrong with her, first her date; now a cop chase which made her wonder who Loris might have spite to deserve all this. Though she prayed that he would be fine and not dead, she thought of one person who could help her through all this and she stopped in her tracks. A police car drove towards the end of both alley which she stood at, Adeline watched them; and she jumped into a dumpster, thereafter leaped into a building close by and she climbed upwards. An officer ran towards her previous spot; below the building and tried using her ability of telekinesis on her, in an attempt to bring her down. Adeline moved with haste and jumped into the building's balcony while hiding there, the officer's attempt of pulling her was to no avail and she stopped her act. Noticing the sudden stop of the woman's ability, Adeline moved with much precision; cause she knew once her energy exhaust her she was done for, and she ran with her destination in mind. Soon she ran into a single apartment, through the front doors and collapsed inside the house. After a while there was a series of knocking at the door and a man who looked to be in his early forties came out, seeing him the officers showed looks of reverence and one walked towards him and filled him on the details surrounding the cat which ran into his house. He nodded his head and said he would look into the matter while they should return for now, they acknowledged his words and left and he closed his door and went inside. Inside the house was a woman who laid down; she seems to be asleep and the man walked towards her and lifted her up in his arms while taking her inside a room.
