Dream of the Past

Elena P.O.V

I was in my own thoughts until kiara called me "Elena.. Lena.. Are you there? I have been calling you so long."

"ummm.. sorry I was thinking about something. what did you want to tell? "

"can I go home early today I have guests waiting at home. "

"Yes you can ,we dont have much customer s today."

"Thank you thank you so much.. you are an angel you know that. "

"Not exactly but kind of. " I murmered

"Did you say something? "

"No nothing .Bye, I have some work to do. "

I hung up the phone and got back to work

It was such an exhausting day. It's already quite late and Kiara also left home early today. I need to go home and rest a little bit. I turned the lights off and locked the door. I walked through the dark and lonely streets till i reached my home . I looked at my house and sighed . Eventhough it is small It's still the only place that makes me feel like i belong there.

I went to my room and lied on the bed thinking how my day went. After a short while I dozed off and suddenly found myself back in the fae world standing all alone in the street like it always was and watching the kids play with their parents. Why was I left alone? Why was there no one to take care of me? Why don't I have powers like the other fae kids? No one was there to answer my questions but I think someone might know what happened in my past.

The kids playing across the street came towards me, I had a bad feeling. They always bully me for being and orphan and for not having any power. Today I can see that the princess has also come with them. She hates me because she jealous of my beauty or may be because I am useless.

"Look, the useless thing is here again " The princess said mockingly. The kids next to her started laughing and some even started pulling my hair. I screamed out of pain but no one had the guts to go againts the princess so they all just watched.

" Your parents abandoned you because you are useless and not only you your mother is also a useless human" The princess said trying to push me.

I pushed her hand away and said that"Don't call my mother useless just because she is a human". she stumbled due to the unexpected move and fell to the ground.

The guards lifted her up and some caught my hands and dragged me with them. They took me to the palace Court and made me kneel in front of the king. The king asked "what crime did she commit?"

The guard who dragged me said " She disrespected the princess and attacked her."

The King announced "This is a crime punshible by death but since she is a child she will be banished to the human realm till she turns 25". The princess smirked at the announcement.

I heard my alarm ring and woke up due to the disturbance. "Why did I suddenly have dream of my childhood? " I then remembered that my mother is a human so it is possible that she is alive and I might be able to find her.

knock... knock... knock...

Who is at the door this early in the morning?
