The Dangers on this Sea

I take my paddle and compass and begin paddling toward my north after reading the letter.

They named it the Sea of Spirits, but I haven't even seen one since I started my voyage, so I paddled endlessly, hoping to see something in this sea full of emptiness, until i realize it was already dark, i then stop paddling and grab the lamp in the corner of the boat.

I turned it on, and the pitch-black sea began to brighten unexpectedly. I turned to gaze at the water within the boat's side, and take a look at the water.

"Where are the spirits in this sea that is supposed to be full of them?" I've been asking that question to myself this whole time.

It turns out that they only emerge at night; as I looked at the water, I noticed a dozen bright spirits rising in it.

I keep paddling after that while keeping an eye out for the spirits as they rise.

Suddenly, a Giant Crab comes at the rear of my boat

Upon realizing that there's a Giant Crab who's about to smash me into bits, I quickly grab the red sword in my back. I'm relieved that they have returned it, I think the admiral is being kind to me.

This sword of mine is powerful since it can change into whatever type of weapon I desire, but it's original form is the sword.

I then scowl at it and get ready for the forthcoming hard struggle.

I've never seen a crab this size before, and this one is a weird crab since it's firing homing spikes from its back.

I then transform my sword into a shield and deflect the spikes that are directly aimed at me; thankfully, the boat was unharmed.

It then raises its large right arm, which if I don't block it or evade it, would crush me to pieces. As the crab move it's large right arm toward me, I swiftly leap in its direction in an effort to deflect the blow and prevent damage to the boat.

I made the decision to transform my shield back into a sword while I was in the air so that I could successfully parry the attack. However, one issue stood out: my arm couldn't parry something so large, so I made the decision to employ a strengthening spell.

"Focus: Left Arm!" I yelled as i activate my spell.

Focus is an internal kind of spell that has a lengthy duration and can make a certain body part extremely strong, but it can only be used on that one portion of your body.

After i cast the spell, i ready myself to trade blows with this Giant Crab.

It's coming fast, but i successfully parried it, the parry was strong enough to throw the crab out of balance.

I jumped back when I got back to the boat, and transform the sword to it's hammer form because this time I'm going for the body.

I left the strengthening spell activated so I can break its armor.

And as I used all of my strength to attack it, i striked it powerful enough to launch it to the sky.

I managed to break the crab's armor but it then did something that surprise me the hell out of me.

The crab got wings.

"What?"

It then flies in my direction while firing the homing spikes once again.

I then decided to change the form of my hammer, and turn it into a spear, I throw it right on one of the wings of the flying crab.

I transform it back into a sword, but this time it's a long one, long enough to slice through the crab wings. I then cast a quick spell "Object Control" to control the long sword while it was on air and sever the crab wings as intended.

I did it, i slice one of it's wings, i then quickly move the sword towards the another wing, and quickly cut it.

But this time it managed to dodge it, by hiding it's wings.

I then change the sword back to it's hammer form, after that, i then deactivate Focus on my left arm, and activate a new focus spell, it's in my right foot now, i then leap toward the falling crab by using my strengthen right foot, i also deactivate the Object Control spell, and the hammer is now also falling towards me.

I then grab the hammer, and deactivate the Focus spell on my right foot again, and activate a new focus spell on my right arm.

The crab can't move so i took the opportunity to strike it down one last time.

I hit it with all my might, the armor that i broke earlier get shredded to pieces in that one strike, and the crab got a hole on it's body now.

Fortunately the crab corpse didn't land on my boat.

I relax after that battle since my body is worn out from not having a decent fight in a while.

Shortly after that i decided to butcher the crab for meats, since the sailors only leaves me with fruits, but they also gives me a fishing rod, but i doubt that there's fishes on this sea, they also gives me coals and a cooking pot if i actually managed to catch a fish.

I still take a sleep after that, even though another giant flying crab might showed up again.

It's now morning, i'm really surprise nothing else attacks me that night, maybe sleeping next to the dead crab helps since it maybe scaring the others.

"Time to cook some breakfast" I said to myself as i look to the crab meats i got.

But then suddenly a voice of a girl comes out saying "I want some too"

I quickly turn to the direction of where the voice came from.

I saw nothing, i then look back at the dead crab thinking it might be the one who suddenly speak, i was half right.

I saw a little girl standing on the corpse of the dead crab.
