Worse Than Reality
"Yes, this is fun," Kylia replied with a smile.
Del stood up and jumped beside Kylia. He held his lover's hand tightly, and they gazed into each other's eyes, their lips unconsciously forming smiles.
"Is it over?" Kylia asked.
Del shook his head, "Not yet, we need to start cleaning up," he said as he took out a radio from his pocket, "*Click! Commence the cleanup operation!" he ordered.
"bzzzttt... Roger!" a voice came from the radio.
"What about the subjects?" Kylia inquired.
Del shook his head, "I've tried contacting them. It seems their radios are damaged, or maybe they have lost their lives. Hmm... can you reach them?"
Kylia closed her eyes and focused on the Root Link. When she first met the subjects, she surreptitiously connected the Root Link to their consciousness. She could easily control their bodies now and turn them into her puppets.
"Only one is still alive," Kylia said.
