Willie Stu-pid

Willie Stu, like his stupid name, had a stupid look. He had stupidly thin black hair, a stupidly big forehead, stupid bushy eyebrows, stupidly big black eyes, a stupidly big nose, stupidly thick lips, a stupidly wide jaw, and a stupidly long neck. His existence screamed, "I'm stupid."

Willie had lived at the Flower Garden Orphanage since he was five years old, and now that three years have passed, he still has the same stupid face as the first time Del saw him. Even though he entered elementary school more than two years ago, the only friend (Willie's one-sided acknowledgment) that Willie had was Del alone.

The only reason he wasn't bullied at the orphanage was that he had a big build and was the only kid who could get close to Del. Maybe because he was stupidly innocent, he did not recognize how dangerous Del was.

The orphanage children were afraid of Del, not because he was the strongest but because he was the most terrible. Del had a thousand ways to make their lives a living hell without the caretakers of the orphanage knowing. Because of that, the other orphans preferred to keep their distance from Del.

However, only Willie endured and considered Del a friend. Del had repeatedly warned Willie to stay away from him, but his threat was seen as a form of an invitation from Del, who was shy about making friends.

Once again, Del wanted to curse and bury Willie's stupid face deep in the ground, but he didn't feel any bad intentions from Willie. He wasn't ignoring Del's questions; his stupid brain just easily got distracted before he could digest Del's question.

Willie was just stupidly annoying.

*BAK! "How dare you look at my wife with your stupid eyes! Bow your head! I will kindly allow you to see the ground my wife stepped on!" Del punched Willie's stupidly big forehead and grabbed his stupidly thin black hair to direct his stupidly big black eyes to the ground.

"ow.. ow.. ow.. ow… Del.. Del.. I'm sorry! You pulled my hair out!" Willie screamed in pain, but there was no resentment in his tone.

Sometimes Del was shocked by Willie's stupidity; he was the personification of a pushover. How could there not be grudges or resentment in his heart when he was treated roughly by a child three years younger than him?

If only Willie put his big frame to good use, then maybe he'd earn some respect in the orphanage. However, this big body was only wasted because of its small brain.

Del took off his grip and saw a few strands of hair in his hand. This black hair was so thin and sticky that it made Del irritated. Luckily, Kylia, who had been silent until now, caught his attention again.

"Del, who is this?"

Kylia brushed aside Del's claims that he was her husband. Somehow, Kylia felt that there was nothing problematic about this. She and Del were confirmed to be partners for life, but a wife's status was just a formality that currently could not be obtained because their age was still not enough under the laws of the Eshya United Nations.

Del restrained himself from giving Willie's stupid face a flying kick.

Then a giggle sounded from behind Kylia's mask. Kylia's voice sounded like a broken record, and it became more terrible when she laughed, but to Del's ears, Kylia's laughter was many times more beautiful than any immortal instrument.

Kylia realized that she had accidentally let out a loud laugh. So she quickly covered her mouth and hid her face by looking down. She was aware that the sound of her laugh sounded terrible, as maids who had heard it had nightmares. Because of that, Kylia never laughed, and she always held it back.

However, Willie's innocent face and his courage to call Del clumsy made Kylia's defense fall so that her laughter came out of her mouth. Somehow, everything about Del was very interesting to Kylia, and she loved hearing other people talk about him.

"What's that horrible sound?" Willie shuddered at the sound of Kylia's giggling.

He looked left and right as he looked for the source of the giggling sound but found none. He never thought that the horrible giggling sound would come from Kylia.

For Willie, Del was someone he looked up to. Del's adult-like attitude and intelligence made Willie admire him. Because of that, when Del introduced Kylia as his wife, Willie's little brain immediately transformed Kylia into a figure as beautiful as a princess in a fairy tale. He also thought that Kylia's reason for wearing a mask was to hide her beauty.

Del, who was still enjoying Kylia's laughter in his memory, saw Willie's innocent face. Then he glanced back at Kylia, who was still looking down. If another guy made Kylia laugh, then Del's jealousy would flare up, but when that person was Willie, Del didn't feel jealous at all.

Maybe because Willie was so innocent, it reached the highest level. Del felt no other meaning from Willie's words, and even Willie himself didn't mean to make a joke.

Willie was just stupidly annoying.

"I.. I'm sorry, Del, did the sound of my laughter frighten you?" she asked.

"No.. Never.. The sound of your laughter is more beautiful than even the bells of heaven. I want to keep listening to it." Del answered without pausing as he said what was in his heart.

"Really?"

"Really, I am not lying; I swear by my Dao Hearth," Del said, taking the highest oath for a cultivator.

"hehehe… O..okay.. Thank you" Kylia said, blushing.

Del looked back at Willie, who was watching him and Kylia flirting with each other with his stupid face.

'This guy is really lucky'.

Del wasn't jealous of Willie and his stupid attitude that was able to make Kylia laugh and the impression Del had for him had just gone up by a few levels. Currently, Del admits that Willie was suitable for the clown position in his life. So Del had directly acknowledged that Willie was one of his people.

Frank Schlange was the leader of the local bullies at the Flower Garden Orphanage. He and his crew terrorized the orphanage and did as they pleased. Currently, he was already 10 years old so he was one of the oldest aged orphans in the Flower Garden Orphanage.

Previously, Frank had also tried to bully Del. Del, who was very smart and was Madam Yeva's favorite, that made the other orphans jealous. However, after several incidents, Frank knew that Del was a tough nut to crack. So he was smart enough to stay away from Del and not mess with him.

Of course, Del knew this but he had no intention of easing Willie's suffering. Instead, he wanted Frank to make Willie suffer even more so that he left Del alone.

"Del, is Frank a bad person? He bullies our Willie…" Kylie whined with eyes full of pity and looked at poor Willie.
