Kylia stared at Del, her eyes filled with frustration after he successfully drove away S-19. She was raging and seeking attention, but her boyfriend was busy chatting with someone else. When Del's attention returned to her, Kylia began tightly gripping her new school skirt.
Cold sweat formed on Del's forehead, making him look like someone held at gunpoint. "Kylia, My Fate, please don't be angry... I truly apologize for not being able to come and meet you immediately. But understand that if I don't be able to cultivate soon, I won't be able to contribute in this chaotic world." Del's words trembled as he raised his hands, indicating that he wasn't holding a weapon and was not dangerous.
Ignoring what Del said, Kylia blurted out, "Who was that just now?"
"One of the subjects," Del answered, cold sweat pouring down his back.
"A girl?"
