A good or bad day for camping? Part 2

Everyone in Kenji's group looks distressed, blaming themselves for accepting San into the group, when suddenly San interrupts them: 

-What? I just went to pee! 

Everyone is startled, so Kenji asks him to give him his backpack, but San says he lost it when he left it near a tree. 

Charlie then says: 

-Did you lose the backpack or hide it, San? 

San then gets angry and ends up offending Charlie. 

-So you're coming with me to look for Charlie, since you've become a boy now, prove yourself as a boy then! 

(Charlie underwent gender reassignment surgery some time ago, San found out about it recently and started harassing him about it) 

Charlie gets very angry, it's not something that everyone knows, but the people closest to Charlie know and have supported him, but this attitude is totally unacceptable on San's part, we have the free will to choose what makes us feel good about ourselves, and most importantly to be happy no matter what your choices are. 

Charlie then gets angry and starts arguing with San: 

-What's up San?! I really am a boy and even if I were a girl, I'm not as irresponsible as you are! I'm going to look for the backpack, if you've lost it, right? 

Ren holds them both back, before they can fight, he enters the middle of the argument and asks them to calm down: 

-That's enough, San, spare us your intolerance, it doesn't make you "more of a boy", on the contrary it makes you look like an idiot, I really don't accept this kind of disrespect, and Charlie, please calm down too, we're not going to solve anything if we fight here. 

Kenji then tries to calm the situation down, he says that Ren is right, and that everyone should calm down, because they really need to find the backpack and tells San to go and look for it with him, and for the others to sit and wait, he doesn't want to scare them and tell them that they're lost, and that the trail signs have been changed, Charlie then calms down and asks Bianca and Olivia to sit down, while they wait for Kenji and San. 

They start looking for the rucksack, repeating San's route, but they start to find something suspicious, there are lots of broken branches, and the surrounding undergrowth looks trampled, Kenji then becomes thoughtful: 

(It seems strange that something has passed through here, something a bit heavy, it doesn't seem to be some prank by San and Tommy...) 

Kenji puts his hand in his pocket, but remembers that his cell phone is with the others in his backpack, San has his cell phone in his pocket and tries to check the signal, when suddenly Kenji and San feel a different presence in the place. 

-Wait San, do you feel that presence? 

-Oh, yes it seems weak, but it seems to be increasing! 

(Only descendants of demons can feel demonic presence, humans don't feel or see their presence) 

Kenji tries to call Luan, but there's no signal, so they decide to go back to where their group is, Kenji asks everyone to get down behind one of the rocks, Ren stays at one end and Kenji takes the other end, both are also descendants of demons and well trained! Charlie protects the girls, Olivia can't feel the presence although she's Theo's sister, she only has the human side, Bianca is a little scared, she looks confused, and asks Charlie while he's protecting them. 

-What's going on, Charlie? 

-Oh don't worry, it looks like there's a wild boar nearby, it seems a bit aggressive so we need to hide here ok?! 

-Boar? 

-That's right, we need to be quiet now. 

Strangely, the area around Kenji's group starts to get very foggy and the mist starts to get very thick, Ren finds this sudden fog strange, it doesn't seem like a very good sign, Kenji also finds it strange because the weather forecast was for a sunny day, so he goes closer and whispers to Ren: 

-Ren, can you tell me why there's this thick fog out of nowhere? You can hardly see anything. 

-Hm, it's probably caused by a demon, but not just any demon! 

Ren only has a penknife and opens it in a defensive position, while Kenji grabs a branch he finds on the ground and keeps an eye out for any movement.
