Final Decision

The bus arrived at Fred's house honking 2 times while stopping.

Fred stood up and said "I have to go now, see you tomorrow." to Sarah, his new friend he had on the first day.

Sarah replied "Ok, see you tomorrow." as Fred is leaving the bus.

Fred left the bus while his mother, Cristine, was standing still waiting for him outside the front door, waving. Fred approached her happily.

Cristine asked "How is your day honey?”

Fred and His mother got inside the house since dinner was ready.

Fred answered "School is great mom, and I made a new friend also."

Cristine replied "Glad to hear that son.” then she asked Fred, “So, are you staying in that school?”

Fred was putting down his bag at the couch and head inside the Dining Room of the house and answered, “Ehhh maybe, but I am starting to like it though.”

Fred and Cristine sat down at the table and they started eating. Their dinner is fried chicken. While they are eating, they are talking also to know how is their day

Christine asked "What happened at school? Was it fun?"

Fred answered "Yes it was. But there are some bullies, but I can handle them now. And because of that, I made a new friend."

Christine replied "Well that's very nice. And pretty amazing that you said that you can handle bullies now. I knew that school is perfect for you." and she starts asking Fred, “What will happen tomorrow?”

Fred answered, “Well there is gonna be a quiz on math and I am included, but I won't be recorded and it will just be a Diagnostic test for me.”

Christine said, “That is good to hear honey.”

A few minutes later, they are done eating, the dishes have been washed, Fred is getting out of the shower, he has a blue striped towel wrapped around his legs covering his, you know what it is. As he was about to enter the room, he heard his mother again. So he approached his mothers door and heard what she was saying.

“Thank you, Justin.”

Fred recognized that name, he can’t believe that she was friends with him.

“Huh, tell me.” Christine said

“There are some coincidences happening here, Fred coming here, bullies are revealing themselves, and the pocket watch gleams red. Red!” Justin said

“Could it be?” Christine asked

“I do not know yet, but I promise you that I will keep an eye on him and make sure that I won’t make the same mistake again.” Justine assured Christine

“One, I can’t believe you read the dictionary and say gleam. And two, Thank you again, Justin. Now he has the confidence back and he might decide to stay also.” Christine said

“It is our pleasure to have Fred here, he will have a good time.” Justin said

“Ok then, good night.” Christine said as she hung up the call

Fred went away and went inside his room. Put on his pajamas and layed down on his bed, happily. And do not ever think about what he was doing.

On the next day, Fred is now at the school. As he went inside he heard someone shouting. He also saw a crowd looking at someone.

“No no I had enough!’ The boy shouted

“But sir?” The other boy tried to explain himself but was cut off

“I do not want to hear it.” That is the boy’s final answer, as he looked at everyone, he said, “Alright, show is over move it along people!”

So the crowd just went to their respective classrooms and others went to the Locker Rooms. Fred is getting to the Locker Room. Sometimes Fred hears whispers of the students.

“I can’t believe Drake was the president, like I mean, we saw enough now.” The girl said

“I know, but it is also our fault that we voted for him last year right?” The other girl said

Fred noticed that voice and checked if it was Sarah. And he is correct, it is Sarah, but she is with someone.

“Well, I better go Ariana, I don’t wanna be late for the quiz.” Sarah said as she left the Locker Room.

“Alright see you as well Sarah.” Ariana said back as she was ready to go.

Fred needs to hurry for English class with his teacher and his adviser, Ma’am Pauline. He kept his cool and walked faster so he could not be late at the same time avoiding trouble. In the middle of the walk, he also recognized the two girls as well, from yesterday. And they are mad at Fred until they hear a voice.

“Hey stop it!” The voice said

The bullies turned around and saw Ma’am Pauline, so they ran away from Fred and went to their classrooms. Ma’am Pauline approached Fred to see if he was safe.

“Are you ok, Fred?” Ma’am Pauline asked

“I’m fine Ma’am, they did not hurt me so don’t worry, and also thank you too for saving me.” Fred answered

“That is good to hear, shall we go?” Ma’am Pauline asked, Fred nodded and headed to the classroom together.

A few hours later, it was now break time, Fred is sitting alone at the table in the school cafeteria and thinks about what has happened. He heard the scream again, it was the same person, Drake.

“All right people move it. If you did not violate one of the rules then none of this would have happened!” Drake shouted

“You do not need to be so loud, you are also a student Drake.” One of them said,

“I don’t care, now move it!” Drake shouted louder and they started to move faster.

And again, Fred heard whispers about Drake, again. Fred is going to talk to him but how. He does not want to be screamed at. His thinking stopped until Sarah was calling him, he looked down the table for so long that he did not see Sarah approaching him.

“Oh sorry Sarah.” Fred apologized

“That’s alright,” Sarah said, and she added, “And you are thinking about how you are talking to Drake, the student council president. The one I regret voting for. Like ever since the start of the school year, he is making this school a prison.”

“I kinda feel it now, but if he wants people to like him, he needs to change.” Fred said

“If you have a plan, then I am in.” Sarah stated

“Good, because I had one already.” Fred replied back
