"Xiao Yu," Xiao Han called out.
However, rustling sounds transmitted through the phone, accompanied by the noise of tires crushing against the ground. But there was no response.
"Xiao Yu!" Xiao Han confirmed again.
Still, there was no sound on the other end of the phone, only the recurring noise of tires rubbing against the ground.
Xiao Han immediately had a bad feeling, and he quickly sat up. Then he repeatedly called Lan Yudie.
"Xiao Han, what's wrong?" his dormmates asked curiously.
Xiao Han's tone was tense as he hastily said, "I suspect something has happened to Lan Yudie."
"What happened?" Liu Bin asked urgently.
"The call came, but there was no sound," Xiao Han said hastily.
"Oh, I thought it was something serious," Liu Bin chuckled, "Maybe Lan Yudie dialed by mistake. Just hang up, and save her some phone bills."
