Twenty Five

Eshika was not surprised that this morning Tere came to her. But, Tere with her friends? Ooh. That's another problem. Tere's friends are so many. Until when they surrounded Eshika, the girl almost felt the world around her suddenly darken.

"You complained to Tama about yesterday?"

Eshika's eyes rolled around. In her heart he cursed.

Gosh, God. Can you please keep me away from the girls who are after Tama?

"Yes?"

Eshika's eyes opened. She looked indifferent when she answered. "I'm not complaining. But, I only talk to him when a girl is busy asking me about his status."

Tere sharpened her gaze.

"But, isn't that true? It's like you don't have enough work to ask Tama's status with me," said Eshika as she got up from her seat.

Tere raised her hand. She grabbed Eshika's shoulders and pushed the girl back into the chair. It made Eshika furrow her brows because she was treated like that.

"I'm not lacking work," Tere hissed slightly leaning towards Eshika. "I just want to know who my rival is."

"Rival?" asked Eshika confused.

Tere snorted scornfully. Turn around and say. "And if the girl is like you, you don't actually fall into the category of girls who need to be anticipated."

Eshika's eyes blinked. "Don't talk carelessly, okay, Re."

"Oh?" Tere laughed. "Who's talking recklessly? It's reality."

Eshika took a deep breath. Especially when the class is getting crowded. Friends started entering the classroom and looking at them.

"E e eh .... Why is this crowded on my table?"

Velly's voice was heard, trying to get closer to her desk. And she was surprised to see how Eshika's face seemed to darken in anger.

"I've said it well, Re," Eshika whispered. "Didn't you learn manners when talking to people?"

Tere chuckled. "I speak according to reality."

Eshika got up. Trying to get out of there. But Tere didn't budge.

Velly gasped at that. "Wow! Why is this?"

Eshika and Tere just looked at each other for a moment. Neither of them said a word.

"Excusme, Re. I want to go. I'm really lazy to waste my time with a stupid girl like you."

"Wow! What did you say? Stupid girl?"

Eshika looked at Tere. "Whatever your business with Tama, it's your business. I have nothing to do with it at all!" Eshika said. "And… be careful when you say everything. I've never looked down on you, so don't look down on me."

Tere laughed. "Ha ha ha. I was threatened by Eshika, Guys."

And then, Tere's friends burst out laughing.

Eshika's mind was wondering.

Is this why they are all crazy?

"Eh... why is it so crowded here?"

Alex, who had just entered the classroom, seemed to immediately approach the crowd. And that was a natural thing considering that Alex had to pass through Eshika's desk to get to his desk. So thanks to the crowd, his journey came to a halt in the middle of the road.

Alex took turns looking at Eshika and Tere. A little confused.

Tere gulped. She reached out to grab Tama's hand, but the boy pulled his hand away.

"Why?"

Eshika took a deep breath. Then, glanced at Tere fiercely. She pointed. "So, Tam. Because of you, the last two days I was accompanied by Tere."

"Eh?" Tere shook her head. "N-no, Tam."

"She's been busy asking who you're dating! Who are you closer to? And this morning she came to me because she said I was complaining to you!" Eshika snapped.

Tama turned to Tere. He seemed to be nodding his head while groaning in an annoyed tone. "Oooh.... So you caused all the cayenne pepper in the fries yesterday?"

Everyone's eyes flickered.

What does cayenne pepper have to do with Tere?

"Um... Tam," Tere said later. "Not like that. In fact---"

" Want to dodge, Re?!" Eshika snapped. "It's a wonder. Why do I have to deal with girls who have no brains lately?"

Tere bit her lip at Eshika's words. "You don't say anything carelessly, do you?"

Ignoring Tere's words, Eshika instead said to Tama.

"You can't really find a girl with what brains, Tam?" asked Eshika in a sarcastic tone. "Yesterday I was beaten by Laura and now I have to confront Tere? That's right! Your girl's taste is really not good!"

"Eh! You really can't speak well, can you?" Tere immediately grabbed Eshika's hand. "What do you mean?"

Tama snapped at both of them. Break up the two girls.

"You're still asking what I mean?" asked Eshika, ignoring Tama's hand that was tugging at hers. "You really don't have a brain."

Tama pulled Eshika's hand tighter. "Esh…, never mind. How come you are like Tere anyway?"

"Never mind?" asked Eshika parroting Tama's words fiercely. "I've been trying to give up since yesterday, Tam. I've been trying to contain my emotions. So suddenly in the morning like this she was the one sticking out. Where's the show to humiliate me again?"

Tere's eyes bulged. Can't believe what Tama just said about her.

"How many days have you really been driving me crazy, Tam!" Eshika screamed. "Just look! Until you accept Tere to be your girl...." Eshika threatened with angry eyes. "Watch out for you, Tam, just watch out..."

Tama laughed. "What the hell, Esh. What kind of relationship do I have with Tere anyways?"

"She said she was going to tell you about her love today!"

The class suddenly fell silent at Eshika's words.

"She wants to shoot you today that's why she's been bothering to ask me about your status since yesterday!"

Tere felt her face heat up. Especially since his classmates were already crowded.

"Until you accept this girl," continued Eshika, "you just have to choose what kind of death you want!"

Tere panicked. "Tam...." After all, it wasn't like this that he wanted Tama to know his feelings. Not by being humiliated in front of the class.

Eshika pulled her hand away from Tama's grip. Her unblinking eyes implied that she wasn't playing with his words.

Damn it! cursed the girl in her heart.

Tama took a deep breath. He know for sure that Eshika is not currently in play mode.

He then turned to Tere and asked.

"So you really want to shoot me?"

Tere gulped, while Eshika waited with her arms crossed in front of her chest. Looking forward to Tere's answer.

"Hey you! Answer!" push Eshika.

Tere's hands clenched at her sides. She nodded.

A small smile tugged at Tama's lips. "Sorry, Re. It's enough for me to finish eight fried plates with all the cayenne pepper in it," the boy whispered, making people confused. "Honestly I'm lazy to date now. Especially with you."

Eshika snorted. A big sneer in Tere's face. Her tongue even stretched out mockingly.

"Is it good to be rejected before shooting?" asked Eshika scornfully. "So, since you've been rejected... well go back to your desk!"

Ignoring the people who were still standing around her, Eshika returned to her seat. The girl looked still sullen as she typed a message on her cellphone.

[ Tama ]

[ Don't think this problem ends here, Tam. ]

[ I will tell this to our parents. ]

[And until another girl found me because of you, I really wasn't kidding. ]
