The Softmire Plains

blue sky for miles and fields of green that spread out before my eyes going as far as my eyes could see. a bright sun shining in the sky with imaculately white clouds of cotton candy fluff. "Sure sounds nice I only wish that it were real" with a weak sigh the crisp air left my lungs and the reality before me colapsed atomized to holographic particles leaving naught but a stark white room in its place. My back impacted the floor with a soft thud as I helplessly fell back staring at the ceiling of bright white. "and This is how I spend my free time so pathetic, oh sorry got a bit carried away and forgot to introduce you. welcome to the Softmire Plains its not much but it's all I got. a world of adventure and mystery filled with unexplored deapths... is what I would like to say but this place is pretty shit."his hand lightly scratched the back of his neck as he rolled it to the side ever so gently before a light clack of a cracking neck filled the quiet chamber."ahh much better, anyway I better hurry before he gets mad." with renewed vigor he quickly sprung to his feet bouncing on his heels as he bounded out the door to the holographic chamber. it let him out into a dimly lit hallway of cold steel, the sharp clang of his soles on the riveted floor echoing around him as he ran through countless matinee shafts and hallways through the Bowles of this steel labyrinth. after about five minutes of quietly running through the halls he came upon an intersection of a enormous scale. well calling it as such would be an understatement, with a ceiling hundreds of feet up in the air and countless chutes pipes and walkways all spiting out into this grand hall is nothing short of a marvel. like a well oiled machine people constantly ran about from one hall to the next without much rime or reason. lifts full of cargo being pulled up and down to different bays by massive chains and wheels. the stark smell of oil and iron filled the air and a chillingly cold atmosphere came from all those running amok. their faces void of happiness their lives filled with endless labor just doing their job to keep themselves alive. alas he had no time to dally after spending so much time in the holographic chamber. he'd be lucky if he can manage to keep his head after making the boss man wait. so he went climbing nonsensical ladders and jumping from one moving cargo platform to another. scaling up the sides of rigs and crawling across makeshift scaffolding in the ever changing dock area. flying craft refuling and shipping cargo were all slowed into neat bays stashed into the steel walls the only actcess to the outside world. light glimpses of a red brown landscape could bee seen from past the dock bay doors, but that does not matter now for he is almost there. Breaking off from the docks and bounding down a giant corodor almost 300ft up in the air he quickly sped down the corridor till he reached a massive door that should weigh at least a ton. The doors carved of the blackest stone he had ever seen, the light surrounding them seemed to be pulled into their embrace. ornate runes and patters littered the doors with sharp lines and crisp corners and turns of shapes and stars that dotted it. As he reached out to knock, before his fist even hit the door a deep booming voice called to him from the other side.

"Come In" the cold voice chilled his bones and he nervously swallowed some saliva that was creeping up his throat. wrestling together what little courage he could muster he slowly walked forward the ornate black doors opening buthemselves to let him into the most ornate room he had ever seen. after walking forward for some distance due to the sheer size of the room he arrived at the center of the room. the great black doors shutting themselves behind him and locking him in here with a monster more terrorfying than his worst nightmares. A giant hulking figure was sat upon a grey throne, a giant block of metal that seemed to be cut clean to form a seat that looks by no means comfortable.'I mean hey if he likes having a sore bum after sitting on a metal plate for hours than who am I to judge?' Those bright yellow eyes seemed to bore into one's soul, his chin lightly sat atop his hand proved up on the armrest of the gargantuan throne. his face curled into a heavy snarl and with thinly veiled anger in his voice. "Do You Know Why I Have Called You Here Today?!"

'No but from the looks of it this can't possibly end well for me eekkk!'
