They laid there on the table, their skins started to rash from panic. Their chest started to heave as they blinked their eyes open. They stood up, pushing the chair much harsher than they realized, them shaking their hands as they started pace. Tears started to fall down their face as they tried to force their breathing. Dr. Harrison and Lyla rushed in seeing them frantic, and breathing heavy.

"Hey, hey what's wrong." Lyla asked raising her hands slowly towards them. They backed up towards the wall sliding down it. They grabbed their hair pulling it, tears rushed faster as their breathing became harder. "Do you need your inhaler?" They could only nod, as they wheezed. "Dr. Harrison can you run to the front desk and ask for their inhaler, and hurry."

Dr. Harrison nodded running out the door, She ran to the nurses station, "Give me Venus's inhaler now!" She snapped. The nurse rush to a closet and grabbed it. After giving it to Dr. Harrison, she ran down the hall almost falling because she was in heels. She made it back to the room, and she went up to Lyla. "Thank you." Lyla said softly before turning all her attention to them. She reached out a hand and gave them their inhaler. They took it, hitting it a few times closing their eyes. They started to breathe normal again.

"Are you alright?" Dr. Harrison asked.

They stayed silent a bit longer, finally looking at them. Their eyes darting, they brought their legs up to their chest. In a small voice they said. "Momma, I scared." It was their little Erin. Lyla opened her arms wide and she crawled to her. Lyla wrapped her arms around her. "Momma has you now. You are safe." She whispered petting her hair. Erin snuggled closer and hid her face in Lyla's chest. Lyla laid her head on theirs, to make them comfortable. After a few minutes, Erin moved and wiped her face of the remaining tears that stayed. Lyla placed a motherly hand and gave her a smile which Erin returned.

"Is Momma's little princess better now?" Lyla asked. Erin looked at the ground then back at Lyla. She nodded her head. "Yes momma, I'm better." Lyla smiled. "Good. I'm glad." She said as she started to tickle her hand, Erin laughed. She saw Dr. Harrison who had the look of worry on her face. She held her hands to her chest as she watched the scene.

"Are you okay Dr. Harrison?" Lyla asked. Her faced filled with worry.

Erin went over to Dr. Harrison and hugged her. She knew it was them she was worried about, so she had to show her they were okay. Dr. Harrison finally released a breathe as she felt their warm embrace. "Yes, I'm alright. I was just worried. But I see they are okay now." She said as she looked down at them. "You ready to go to your new home little one?" Erin eyes went wide and she started to nod her head.

Lyla stood up and smiled, "I'll grab our bags."

"I help?" Erin asked. Lyla smiled, reaching out a hand to her. "Yes dear, you can help."

Erin clapped her hands in excitement, "Yay!" She said taking Lyla's hand and going over to her room. Grabbing their bags, they walked into the hallway waiting for Dr. Harrison. Dr. Harrison let out a sigh before finding them. She put a smile on her face, grabbed the paperwork and walked out of the room shutting the door behind her.

"You guys ready?" She asked

Erin and Lyla nodded, "Yes, we are." Lyla said still holding Erin's hand.

"Okay, let's go." She said. As they walked other patients peaked out of their rooms and watched them. Whispers started to fill their ears.

"After 20 years, they get to leave. Wow what a shocker."

Erin covered her ears, as tears started to fall. Lyla grabbed her hand, and pulled her closer as they walked towards the exit. Once they reached the car, Lyla opened the back seat door and Erin crawled in tears still falling down her face. Lyla got in and pulled her close, she started to hum softly. She ran her hand through their hair causing them to fall asleep in her lap. Dr. Harrison got into the driver seat and started the engine, pulling out of the hospital driveway.

"Are you guys okay back there?" Dr. Harrison asked looking at them through the mirror. Lyla nodded as she had her eyes closed. "We will be getting to my house in about thirty minutes." Lyla hummed in response.

They finally reached Dr. Harrison's home, their new home. Parking in her driveway, she let out a sigh before getting out. Opening the door, she was greeted with a very excited Erin who had woke up 5 minutes before they got there. She crawled out of the backseat, Dr. Harrison grabbed her hand and helped her out then they tapped on Lyla's shoulder. She jumped as she woke up, looking around her and beside her looking for Erin. "It's okay, you're safe. We've made it home." Dr.Harrison said giving her a hand out. Lyla started to crawl out of the car looking at the house as she did.

"Whoa." She exclaimed, her eyes wide in amazement. She straighten he dress as she looked at Dr.Harrison.

"It's nothing too special, but it's home. Now come on, I want to show you your rooms then make y'all dinner." Dr. Harrison said with a nervous laugh.

"Can we have lasagna?" Lyla asked playing with her fingers.

"I don't see a problem with that, although I don't if I have the material to make that but I can go to the store why y'all unpack." Dr. Harrison said. "Let's go to your rooms and I'll head out."

Erin and Lyla nodded grabbing their bags. Erin let out a small laughed as she ran up the steps. She clapped her hands in excitement. Lyla shook her head as she laughed, "Hold on baby, We're coming."

Erin started jumping up and down as she waited by the front door. As Lyla and Dr. Harrison got to the door they couldn't help but laugh. Unlocking the door she let the two go first where they were shocked to see how large it was inside. The interior of the house was just as beautiful as the outside was. The dark design and the smell of pumpkin spice and vanilla made Lyla remember her past. She gave a weak smile, before looking down.

"Where are our rooms?" Lyla asked.

"Second floor, Your's and theirs are a spilt room. I hope you don't mind." She said.

"Don't mind at all, kinda glad actually." Lyla said

"Good, it was my sister's and I room when we were younger. My room is just crossed from it now."

Lyla nodded, then looked at Erin. "You ready to go to your room little one?" She asked

Erin nodded happily. "Yes please!" She exclaimed excitedly.

Dr. Harrison laughed, "Just up those steps all the way to the second floor. The first door on the left is y'alls room."

"Okay, thank you." Lyla said,"Lead the way little one." She told Erin.

Erin started to run up the steps all excited, finally losing breath once she got to the first floor. Not wanting to give up she kept going. Once she got to the second floor, she was wheezing badly. Her skin was red, she dropped the bags as she started to cough. She tried to form words but her throat caught. Lyla heard her coughing and rushed up the steps. "Oh princess." She said grabbing their inhaler. "Here you go." Erin took it and hit it a few times. After a few times she nodded. "I-I'm o-okay." She said.

Lyla took a sigh before grabbing all the bags and going into the room. "Come now honey. Let's get you sitting down and resting so we can unpack."

Erin nodded and walked slowly into the room. "Momma I'm tired." She said rubbing her eyes.

"Why don't you take a nap, We'll unpack once you wake up, you okay with that?" Lyla said walking over to the bed. Erin gave a nod, crawling into bed and snuggling into Lyla's lap. After a few minutes Erin fell asleep. Lyla laid her head on the pillow soon falling asleep, her hand dropped to the side of the bed, both of their chest going up and down slowly.

Dr. Harrison finished bringing in the rest of the items before going to the store. She decided to check on the girls before she left. Going upstairs she knocked on the door peaking her head into the room seeing the girls asleep. She smiled knowing that they felt comfortable enough to sleep. She went back downstairs writing a quick note and leaving.

Lyla and Erin curled with each other, Lyla smiling in her sleep as she felt Erin held her head into her chest.
