"Start the presentation!" Ivy said but everyone was staring at her.

"Umm… she is our new CEO. " Ivy's new secretary said as she noticed everyone's confused faces. Hearing this Ezra started panicking. Her expression changed and her palms became sweaty.

"Why don't you present first?" Ivy asked Ezra. Ezra started presenting her ideas but it was unprofitable and her presentation had many flaws. As soon as she concluded her presentation Ivy started clapping her hands. Everyone was confused. Why is the CEO clapping her hands for such a bad presentation?

'Is she stupid? ' Everyone thought! Seeing Ivy clap Ezra smiled showing her full set of 32 teeths. She held her head high in pride.

"Congragulations miss Ezra! You are fired!" Ivy said. Ezra's smile faded.

"Why? For what?"

"For what?! It's clear from your presentation that you are not capable for this job!"

"You are doing this for taking revenge!"

"Are you done talking? Then please pack your things and leave! Our time is precious!"

"You…" Ezra started.

"YOU WANT ME TO CALL THE GAURDS AND GET DRAGGED AWAY?" Ivy roared at Ezra.

Ezra collected her things and was about to go out, but she paused in front of the door and said

"You will pay for this!" and went out. Ivy smirked and said" next!"

Ivy's POV

It's almost 9pm so I decided to go home. Well, I have not been home for 5 years. I went to France after that incident. I dropped the idea of joining National team and studied business management. I stayed with Elena aunt and Nick uncle. Mom and dad would come to visit me twice a year. I refused to go home even to visit my family. I haven't seen my siblings for five years now. We always video called in the past but.. slowly it stopped. I studied hard all these years and have been working in our companies branch in France. I became a workaholic. I tried my best to avoid conversations. I didn't had any friends in collage.

I was lost in my thoughts. Then I realised that I am already home. I got off the car and rang the calling bell. I waited for sometime and then someone opened the door for me.

It's Isha! I almost failed to recognise her. She has grown up. Yeah, she is 16 now. Seeing me at the door she smiled awkwardly and led me in. I don't know what to say now. Oh god, it's so awkward!

"Hi." she said breaking the silence.

"Hi" I replied.

"Umm.. mom and dad is not home.…they are at hospital..."

"Umm.. I know… mom told me."

"Oh!"

"Ummm… your room…"

"I know." I said and tried to smile..but smiling is not my cup of tea so… I failed…

"…You hungry?" she asked.

"Umm..no.."

"Ah… Ivan is upstairs and…goodnight." she said and then she went to her room, no ran to her room!
