I care

Ivy's POV

This f***ing car! Why does it have to break down right now? And also I forgot to take my mobile from office! Now what am I supposed to do? Ivan and Isha would be waiting for me? Urghhh! There is not even a single vehicle passing by now and I can't even let anybody know!

Jake's POV

I was on my way back to home but saw Ivy on the roadside. I stopped my motorcycle and went to her.

"What happened?" I asked.

"My car broke down." she said without even looking at my face.

"Mm… I will drop you."

"No thanks!"

"It's hard to get a cab at this hour and it's not safe!"

"I know how to take care of myself! So f**k off!"

"Ivy, please! Put your ego aside and come! I won't…. Ivanand Isha would be worried!"

"Just mind your business!"

"I'm not going anywhere without you! " I said. I can't leave her alone. This area is kind of deserted. What if something happen to her? No! I am not leaving.

"Just leave me alone! Why act like you care?"

"I am not acting and I do care for you!"

Ivy laughed mockingly.

"What's so funny?"

"That was the best joke of the year Jake! You care for me? Hahah! So funny!"

"Think whatever you want to, but let's go! I know you that you hate me being around you, so let's go! Or you will end up being trapped with me for the whole night!"

Ivy thought for sometime and atlast said

"Ok, Let's go!" O could help but smile. I got on the motorcycle and she sat behind me.

"Hold tight!" I said.

"No, I am alright!"

"You will fall down!"

"I think it's inappropriate!"

"It was not inappropriate 5 years ago!"

"Things change with time! 5 years ago I was comfortable with you and I trusted you but not anymore! " she said. Hearing this my heart fell. We rode back to home in complete silence.

"Thanks." she said as we reached home. Without even looking at my face , she went inside.

Ivy's POV

When everything is clear as water, why pretend? Why pretend like he care? I am sure that he was the one who took that photo and it is clear that it was his face book account! Then why is he even trying to explain it? The more he try to explain, the more I hate him!

Esther POV

I got a phone call from sis-in-law today! Eddy is sick! She said it is nothing serious, but I'm still worried. What if something happens? No no! I'm going to him!

I snapped out of my thoughts when Daniel came out of the bathroom.

"What's wrong?" he asked noticing my expression.

"Eddy is hospitalized!" I said.

"What happened? " he asked worriedly.

"Nothing serious! But I am worried, let's go to him!"'

"Mm! Let's go! Angelo will take care of things here!" Angelo is his PA.

"Ok, I'll book flight tickets!"
