A camel man approached her and gave her a white rose plant. She stood up and took it from what she thought was his hand, but it was her, 'What am I supposed to do with it in a barren land like this? And where have you taken it from?'. She uttered only a few words, 'Plant it in the gap!'. Before she left, she gave her some water to quench her this. Her voice was familiar, and she instantly identified that. She woke up as she was still in the clinic with Johnathan by her side. Her throat that felt parched this morning was hydrated as if her granny helped her through the vision. She couldn't quick make sense of that vision at all as she checked Johnathan's pulse to only to reassure it vibrated regularly, it did. 'Alright, he is still here!' her tears oozed down her cheeks in abundance.
She couldn't make sense of it at that time due to the terror that vision led to. Catherine came in that evening and requested her to leave as her mother desires to stay there for a while. 'You must rest too! I know you may find it cruel, but it is only the right thing to do for now! I do not want you to spoil your health!' she told Rosalie. Rosalie was escorted home by Eliot who talked to her throughout the trip home. She couldn't answer him at all as her mind was preoccupied with the vision she had. As she reached Scarlet Garden, she stepped out of the car and went straight to her room. She just fainted as she landed on her bed. Exhaustion took the best of her. She again reached the same desert again, this time her granny stood near her and asked her in a stern voice, 'Plant it!'.
She woke up at 3 am in the morning and walked to the garden unconsciously. 'Why am I here? I must return to John!' she told herself. She sat on the bench and gazed at all the beautiful flowers in the garden. She spotted a gap in the garden, as she gazed at the empty spot the scarlet roses shone with their vibrant colors and bound her in a spell. A spell that took her back to the instance in her memory when she read her grandpa's attempt at saving her granny. She snapped out of it instantly and thought, 'That is it!'. Rosalie rushed to her mother's room and woke her up. 'Rosalie, daring! You alright! What?' Anne spoke in a drowsy voice. 'Mom, where can I find a white-rose plant?' she asked her. 'What at this hour? We will look for it tomorrow!' she told her.
'Can't wait till, tomorrow!' she uttered and asked her to drive her to the town. She changed and took her in the town square at five in the morning. No shop was opened at that time and the roads were empty too. It disappointed her and she went to check in on Johnathan again. She entered the room while her mother waited outside. Her red eyes made Mrs. Holdcroft utter, 'Poor love! Be patient! He will be good in no time!'. She gestured in affirmation and reassured, 'He certainly will!' and as Mrs. Holdcroft could say anything, she caught sight of the white flowers, she pointed at them and asked her impulsively, 'Who brought these?'. She looked at the direction Rosalie pointed at, 'Oh! These white roses! Johnathan panted them in our garden! I told her to bring them here for John!'.
Tears flow down her cheeks as it heightened her hope. 'Can I have a plant, please?' she pleaded to her. 'Right now, of course dear you can have it! But what for?' she asked Rosalie. 'I cannot tell you right now but if worked then you will know yourself!' she told her. Mrs. Holdcroft went to her home immediately and send the plant off to her at the clinic. 'He planted it, and it should work! It worked for them, and it must work for Johnathan!' she said. It was a beautiful white plant with rose buds that were quite young. 'You asked for its mom told me!' Catherine brought it to her. 'Yes, let's not waste even a second!' she reached home nearly at seven in the morning. She rushed straight to the garden; she took the tiny shovel to dig a hole watered it a little to loosen it. Then put some dry soil she dug out, placed the plant in and wished for Johnathan Scott, to be recovered.
She wished and pleaded to whoever reside in this garden to help her. She kept watering the white rose plant there. It took seven days for the rose buds to open and as they opened, they bloomed in white color. 'It never happened ever in here! White roses never bloom here!' she told Cathie. Anne-Marie received a phone call that day that Johnathan opened his eyes. His recovery followed in the next three days that shocked the doctors. Rosalie went to the clinic and told her mother to keep watering the white roses in the garden. But when Anne-Marie approached she couldn't find them at first, 'Where are they? They were here yesterday!' she said to herself 'There you are!'. She spotted the white roses partially turned red. Anne-Marie told Rosalie about it.
'What? Are you sure?' she asked her. Doctors examined Johnathan and find out that not only the wounds disappeared but also the stitches were nowhere to be found. It was unexplainable as Johnathan couldn't feel the pain, but he felt week, so he was kept under observation for days. 'John! You just gave us a cardiac arrest!' said Catherine. Rosalie sat beside him and held her hand. 'John, how are you feeling? Are you alright?' Rosalie asked him. 'I am feeling weak, but I am in no pain anymore! There is something strange I have noticed! I have no injury at all!' as he uttered these words Catherine turned pale, and Rosalie smiled a little. 'Maybe they treated you that well that it recovered in no time!' she told.
Johnathan told Eliot about it, 'It actually shocked him as well!'. Catherine took Rosalie to a side and asked her, 'How can this be? It is not conceivable!'. Rosalie told her, 'You must know it is only unbelievable! Certain gift pass down to the right heirs in their legacy! I am a half-gypsy; you can say my references delivered me an unfair advantage!'. 'I am glad that you have that unfair advantage!' she uttered in excitement and embraced her tightly. They both were elated to have Johnathan recovered. Eliot joined them and talked about Johnathan's miraculous recovery that was a secret between the ladies now.
Eliot didn't back off and pursue Catherine, she joined Johnathan in his office and worked as an assistant there. Emanuel assisted her in understanding her duties. Eliot's frequent visits to his office disclosed his intention to him. He didn't interfere and allowed Catherine to decide for herself. Catherine behaved cold towards him at first but became lenient as he remained persistent in his pursuit. It took him three months to convince her to go on an errand around the town along with him. They went to a classic restaurant, and he confessed to her his feelings, 'I know Catherine that you may not like me at all! But I am madly in love with you! I just can't eat right, think right and can't even sleep right! I think you are my cure, and I may have fallen sick if it weren't for your charm that keeps me going!'. She blushed and laughed a little at his silly but honest words.
Catherine told him, 'I think you need a doctor and not a lover or a wife!'. 'Catherine, I am not joking!' she told her. 'I know Eliot! I have known that since the day we danced in the bakery, and you let me hide my face in your shoulders! My heart was yours!' she told him. His eyes opened up wide and excited him and he just couldn't contain himself and yelled, 'No, way! You mean you like me too!'. Everybody in the restaurant looked at them with amazement and adoration. They clapped for them because they made it public that they like each other. A private ceremony followed in the Eliot's Lake house. His parents were quite pleased to have her as their daughter in law. They didn't object and accepted her with adoration and pride.
