Beginning of the Unknown.
The world is a peaceful place to live in with enough food to survive for the day. People all over the world is just minding their own business to survive the day ahead. Martha's family is one of them. Martha have a loving and hardworking husband that work at the repair shop as one of the mechanics. The salary of her husband can barely sustain the daily expenses of the family. So Martha have also Nanny jobs and online sales to support her family also. Martha have been married to Manuel her husband for 10 years already. The couple was blessed with two beautiful children, one boy and a girl that love them very much.
The girl's name is Maria and the boy's name is Mario that have the characteristics of their parents. The boy and girl is in the elementary days, Martha is giving their children what they needed at school. While her husband is working hard just to sustain the family needs and also if there are bonuses that was given to him. He would happily go to the market to buy the favorite food of his children and his wife at home. Martha is grateful for every passing day that she get to see her family is close as it gets. The children are talented young bunch and can do anything they want.
The children is contented with the parents effort to sustain their daily living. They have a habit on going out of town and was thought by their father skills outdoor. "Maria and Mario be ready again for another out of town vacation next month." said Martha to her children at home while the children do their homework. "Yehey! Where are we going this time, mama?" said Mario and Maria in eagerly manner to their mother. Their father Manuel is sitting on the couch while watching the news on the television. "News Alert! News Alert! People at the market started to eat raw meat and attack the passerby at the market. Soldiers have already try to taken care of the scene at the market but unfortunately it is not control. Currently the all the human eating flesh is currently moving towards to crowded places. They are currently called "Savages". To all citizen, it is important to stay indoors to be safe. Further updates will be provided." said the news reporter on television.
"What in the world is happening, Manuel I am scared for us. What will we do?" said Martha worriedly at her husband who is also worried while looking at the news. "Just calm down, Martha I am sure that the authorities will be taken this in control. Besides maybe this is just a fake news. Let us check the other news channel." said Manuel in a calm tone and controlling his worried feeling toward the news that was breaking the news. As Manuel change the channel to other news station, the news are all the same and have been getting worse.
"HELP! HELP! HELP! Somebody help us! My father is being attack!! HELP! HELP!" said the woman outside on the road while her father is left behind being attack by the "savages" as the news have called them. "HELP US!" said the woman with wounds on her ankle and have difficulty in walking. As she approach the house next to the family of Martha. As the neighbor of Martha open their home to help out there are many savages have run to the house with the woman. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" screamed by their neighbors as they tried to block all the savages to come inside the house. Unfortunately, the savages ate the neighbors and the woman that was asking for help.
Martha and Manuel watched in horror as the savages run inside the house of their neighbors. "Close all the doors and blinds right now Martha! Maria and Mario run upstairs, shut all windows and close the curtains down immediately." said their father in a haste manner. As the family work together hand in hand and carrying their duty as bid by the Manuel. Manuel have shut down the electricity and secured all the doors and windows downstairs. "Martha? Where are you? Martha?" said Manuel as he try to seek his wife in the dark with a small pen light in hand that can view as little the way. "Manuel, I am at the staircase. Come here and let us go to our children upstairs. Also quite down your voice." said Martha in a hush voice. The husband and wife have gone upstairs carefully to their children.
"Noooo!" a man scream on the road as the savages eat him. The family of Martha look outside at the small view of the window at the men, women, and children getting eaten by the savages. The screams and panic spread out in chaos in the neighborhood. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH" children scream as they got eaten by the savages. The children of Martha was crying in horror as they see their neighbors and playmates gets eaten below.
