Karan's destruction

Karan hit his office desk with all his might. His anger was growing, he was furious after getting his company's monthly report. Almost 50% of the company's money had vanished into thin air, and Ryn, his secretary, had not given him any explanation.

Karan began to panic, almost all of his money had disappeared to nowhere. He did not understand that a company built from scratch would be destroyed in such a short time. Even he did not understand who was behind everything that happened.

All the employees didn't show any suspicion, they looked clean and unlikely to commit fraud. Either one of them is hiding a traitorous face or is indeed not an insider the real mastermind.

"How could you not know where the money went, Ryn? You're my personal secretary and all the affairs of this office are in your hands. There's no way that money would just vanish without cause."

"Why are you so angry with me? Are you accusing me of this fraud?"

Karan raised his face right in front of Ryn, "I never even said anything, let alone went to the extent of accusing you of it," Karan said suspiciously.

Seeing Karan's piercing gaze, Ryn was frightened and tried to hide her fear. She didn't want Karan to find out that the company's money was indeed lost by her. No, rather Ryn stole it directly from Karan's safe.

However, Ryn didn't want to just run away. Because that would make Karan suspicious. That's why, Ryn stayed in the company with her other evil plans. Later, she would slowly destroy Karan's life.

Indeed, this was Ryn's main objective. She wanted to seize all of Karan's possessions and destroy Karan's trust in Eliza. Listening to the sentence that seemed to say that Eliza was superior to her, Ryn was furious. She wasn't just burning with jealousy, but with a feeling of resentment and disappointment that was extremely painful.

After all that Ryn had given to Karan, Karan had returned the favour with pain. In fact, Ryn had sacrificed many things to win the heart of a cold man named Karan.

The man who managed to fall in love with Eliza and marry her, but he had sexual needs that he did not get from his wife. So, he feels no guilt when he uses Ryn as his escape. Yes, just an escape.

"We accept each other and need each other, Ryn. That's not a problem, of course you did it according to your heart's desire without any coercion from me. Why is it now as if I'm the one who really wronged you?"

"I thought you would understand all this, Karan. I hate you, I'm so disappointed in you," Ryn shouted as she left Karan's room unceremoniously.

Seeing Ryn sulking, Karan tried to catch up with her. He persuaded her to stop being angry with him, but it was all in vain. Karan did not heed Ryn's anger anymore. He chose to leave the office.

What else would Karan do but vent his pain on things that would make him more calm and relaxed about his problems.

Karana already had too much on his plate, now he had an office that threatened to bankrupt his company in the near future.

"Women are all the same. They get angry when they don't get everything they want. You'll see, she'll come back after she runs out of money," Karan thought with annoyance.

He's known a lot of women, so it's not unusual for things to happen and ways of dealing with them. For Karan, women only melt with money and nightclubs.

However, there is a lot more to Karan than that. Even now, he and Eliza don't really know each other and are throwing themselves away to make their relationship crumble further.

Karan didn't do that because he needed Eliza. As for the other women, they are just an outlet to fulfil the biological needs that he does not get from Karan.

"I have a headache, the company's affairs are getting more complicated by the day. Almost 50% of the company's net income has disappeared without knowing the cause and effect," said Karan as he took a sip of the wine Leon had served him.

"Where is Ryn when you're like this? Isn't she an insider who should have known all this earlier before it reached you?"

Karan shook his head, signalling that he didn't understand anything anymore. He didn't know whether to accuse Ryn or not as the main culprit. Indeed, Ryn seemed relaxed and she did not indicate that she was the cause of Karan's destruction.

"I don't know who the main culprit is. Right now, I only know that my company is bankrupt, Leon."

"Are you sure it wasn't Ryn?"

Karan put his hands on the table and stopped sipping his wine. Leon's line of questioning made Karan think. He tried to recall what happened between him and Ryn, until he was deceived by the girl.

Ryn was very cunning, even more cunning than Karan could ever get. Now that he was in Ryn's trap, it was only a matter of time before Karan was completely ruined.

"What can I do? Every day I am with her and I don't show any suspicion towards her at all."

"Why is it that after you are together, you seem so stupid Karan? Has she poisoned you? Does Eliza alone not satisfy you? Why do you also have to cheat on your wife."

"For that matter, you won't understand."

I don't know what Karan was hiding, that he kept making excuses for everything he did including playing with other women. Even this time, Eliza knew about it and agreed to all the rules.
