SAY YOU'LL LOVE ME AGAIN

They said that he's a robot - cold and emotionless. Some women find it cool and some find it annoying. In Hana's case... "Isn't it your day off today? Why are you here?" Jacob was glaring at her but she ignored him and just looked for a seat where she can see him from afar. "Are you here to sketch me again?" "Of course. Isn't it obvious? Are you becoming dumb now?" she retorted back while arranging her art materials on the table. Among all the cafe staff, she's the only one who's got the courage and guts to talk to their boss. Jacob crossed his arms on his chest while watching her helplessly. "I don't care about you sketching, drawing or painting me. But don't you fall in love with me." "Heh! Are you serious? Did you think this is some kind of novel plot where a CEO makes a contract with his girl? Seriously?" Hana rolled her eyes and started flipping through the pages of her sketchpad. "Don't worry, I can assure you that it won't happen." "I'm holding you accountable with your words." Jacob said before he left her alone and continued to do his work. "As if I'd tell you that I've fallen in love already." Hana smirked at the thought. MEANWHILE... "Your Majesty, aren't you sorry for your own daughter? What if the Queen, her highness, comes back and finds out that you've banished your daughter?" the small wind diety Airiaj, asked with concern while looking at the huge water mirror in front of them. "Hmp! It would be better if she really comes back." The Cerulean King sneered without any care that his daughter was going through difficult times. If her mother didn't ran off somewhere, Hana wouldn't have a hard time in the mortal world. She would've gotten married already! **** cover isn't mine ORIGNAL PHOTO WAS TAKEN FROM: "Holy Chef, Crazy Empress" -a comic owned by LINKSURE it's edited by a friend https://discord.gg/XkurxZGR

EARLY IN THE MORNING CONVERSATION

Even though she was just sent to the hospital, even though she was hurt and labeled negatively by her own crush and boss, she still came to join the outing. She didn't want to waste her preparation and she didn't want to miss out the fun that she might have with her colleagues. She may not have fun with her boss at least, she will have fun with Lily and the other staff.

Liam didn't finish his working shift last night. He left earlier than usual and gave the task of managing the bar to his hired and paid manager. He just usually go there to check and manage the place on his own even though he's got a real manager.

He went home around midnight and found Jacob sitting in the living room with several types of cakes. It was his hobby and mannerism. Whenever something bothers him, he would always make cupcakes of different flavors to eat.

Though, he didn't say what was bothering him, it was obvious that he was thinking about Hana and the things that he said in the afternoon.

He had to talk to him about boring stuff until Jacob decided to sleep. If he didn't do it, Jacob would look like a zombie from lack of sleep.

As of the moment, it was already five four o'clock in the morning. They all decided to leave the city early in the morning to avoid traffic and to make sure that it won't be too hot to take a hike.

Jacob had all the things prepared as well as their food for this camping. He's got two buckets of food for two days of camp. Alex, one of the staff and one of the chef also bought several food items from the budget that was given by Jacob. Drinks and beverages were also included.

Hana woke up early as well, she had her backpack and other materials needed. Aside from her backpack, she always bring a sling bag with her which contained several handkerchief and a boxes of medicine. She needed to be extra careful or she'll end up a burden to everyone. She didn't like that.

"Are you sure you don't want me to come and drive you to the place instead?" Adam asked while watching her sister descend down the stairs to get some stuff from the kitchen.

"No need. I will be fine. Don't worry about me." Hana stated with a faint smile. "I've got several medicines in my bag."

"Anyway, if something happens, go to the resort immediately. They will come and help you since one of my friends works there." Adam reminded her. In fact, they will be in the hotel. They will secretly follow her to ensure her safety.

Adam might not have said it but Hana knew all about this plan. It was clear and obvious to her but she didn't make a fuss. She knew that they will just do what they think was right for her safety.

Half an hour past four in the morning, Adam sent her at the cafe where everyone agreed to meet. Lily and their chef Marvy was already there, waiting for everyone.

"Hana!" Lily exclaimed when she saw her friend coming to them. "I am glad to see you coming with us." she hugged her tightly to feel her warmth. "Morning Adam."

"Morning Lily. I will leave her to your care. If something happens, please let me know." Adam responded and reminded at the same time.

"Sure. You can count on me."

"I know that." he gently rubbed Lily's hair with a sweet smile, making her stunned and stiff in her place. "You guys enjoy." He left after that and drove his car out of the place.

"Are you alright?" Marvy asked Hana out of politeness and concern for what happened yesterday.

"If you are worried about what happened yesterday, don't worry about it. I am perfectly alright. I've received far greater insults than that." Hana smiled faintly at him. "Do you guys want some coffee? Why don't we buy some at the convenience store. We will be traveling for couple of hours so, we might as well grab something to eat along the way."

The three of them carried their backpack and walk across their cafe to find the nearest still-open convenience store.

When they're about to pay, Hana paid for all of the three of them. "It's my treat this time. It's my first treating a friend, too."

"Really?" Marvy and Lily asked in unison. They can't believe that it was her first time. For someone rich, they thought she got a lot of friends.

"I am actually very sheltered. I didn't have many friends at school because they thought I am a snob or someone boring. I don't bother making friends as well. I am fine with the way my life turned out to be." Hana stated as they walked back to the cafe.

"Weren't you sad?" Lily asked. She can't believe someone grew up without any friends.

"Nope. Adam was always there for me. He would play with me. We would go on a trip with the family. He spoiled me a lot more than my parents would. He taught me how to bake, to sew, to cook, to plan and whatever it was that can occupy my mind. We always keep each other company. Even when he started working, he would make sure to call me, share our thoughts and ideas, laugh about silly and simple matters and many other things. I never felt lonely."

"So, does that mean you've never had any relationship?" Marvy asked out of curiosity. Hana was pretty and kind so there's no way she's be born single.

Hana was very honest as well. In any case, it wasn't about her sickness. "I had relationships in the past. In fact, I had three failed relationships."

"Those men must be blind for breaking up with you." Lily muttered.

"Nope. They actually did the right thing for breaking up with me cause if they didn't, they'd be hurt in the end. It wasn't their fault. There were just some things that would make them uncomfortable if they stayed with me."

"Aaaaaahhhhh! Enough with this stuff." Lily yell softly, enough for them to hear before turning to Hana. "We are making our day gloomy. Let's talk about something else."

They immediately changed their topic and talked about different things. They focused on Lily's and Marvy's life since they experienced a lot compared to her.
