213 Chapter 213: The Clan Moves to the Kamui Dimension

Seaside Town.

The advance troops from Kirigakure, carrying the bodies of Zabuza Momochi and Hōzuki Mangetsu, successfully reached the port, finally making it back to their base.

They were greeted by Mei Terumī.

As for the Fourth Mizukage, Yagura, ever since he ventured out to sea alone to track down the two Uchiha ninjas who had kidnapped Utakata, there had been no news of him.

Mei and her team realized that things were not looking good.

Two days later, the scouts sent by Kirigakure discovered traces of an intense battle on a deserted island in the sea.

After assessing the situation, the people of Kirigakure had to accept a harsh reality: their Mizukage had encountered a formidable enemy, been defeated, and taken captive.

This was another sensational piece of news.

The capture of Yagura, the Mizukage and the Three-Tails Jinchuriki, meant that the Uchiha clan now possessed two Tailed Beasts.

Initially confident in their mission to exterminate the Uchiha, the morale of the Shinobi Allied Forces began to waver.

Moreover, the advance troops sent by the Allied Forces had been searching the seas for over half a month without any leads on the Uchiha's hideout.

As time passed, anxiety spread through the ranks of the Allied Forces.

Morale was at its lowest in Kirigakure.

In a short span, Kirigakure had lost two of its Jinchuriki, including the Mizukage, as well as gifted ninjas like Zabuza and Mangetsu. Their strength was rapidly depleting.

This couldn't continue.

In this critical moment, Mei Terumī stepped up, using the Mizukage's hat as a symbol, and declared herself the Fifth Mizukage.

Surprisingly, there was almost no opposition to this in Kirigakure.

On one hand, Mei had a high reputation and many supporters, like Ao and Chōjūrō, who immediately voiced their support for her as Mizukage.

On the other hand, most of Kirigakure's strong ninjas had been defeated, and those remaining didn't dare challenge Mei, especially given her formidable Kekkei Genkai abilities.

Even if Yagura hadn't passed on the Mizukage title to Mei, based on Kirigakure's tradition of the strongest becoming the Mizukage, she would have inevitably assumed the position.

Shortly after becoming the Mizukage, Mei learned that the Allied Forces had located the Uchiha's hideout.

A Five Kage Summit was convened once again.

Inside the meeting room, a group of ragged pirates stood in a line, trembling in fear. Facing the immense pressure of the Five Kage, they hardly dared to breathe.

"Speak. What happened?" The Fourth Raikage, A, demanded.

"Yes, well..." The lead pirate hesitated, then recounted their ordeal.

These men were the pirates who had once occupied Turtle Island, until the Uchiha clan arrived, took over, and nearly wiped them out.

A few had managed to escape and, upon learning of the bounty placed by the Five Great Shinobi Countries on the Uchiha's location, came forward.

They sought both the reward and the strength of the Five Great Shinobi Countries to exact revenge on the Uchiha.

"It sounds plausible. What do you think?" A asked the other Kage.

"These men could also be spies sent by the Uchiha, with hidden traps and schemes," Tsuchikage Ōnoki pointed out.

After a thorough interrogation by ANBU operatives, it was confirmed that the pirates were telling the truth and weren't under any genjutsu.

Hearing this, Ōnoki made a swift decision: "Then let them lead the way. We'll mobilize our forces to attack Turtle Island and eradicate the Uchiha clan."

The Raikage, Kazekage, and Tsuchikage exchanged glances, nodding in agreement with Ōnoki's proposal.

However, the newly appointed Mizukage, Mei, stood up and coldly declared, "From this moment on, Kirigakure will withdraw from this war and will no longer participate in the operation against the Uchiha clan."

"Why?" A frowned, puzzled by Mei's decision.

Given the losses Kirigakure had suffered at the hands of the Uchiha, they were expected to be the most eager for revenge.

Mei sighed, explaining, "As you can see, Kirigakure has suffered heavy losses and our morale is shattered. We're not in a position to continue fighting. Moreover, before Yagura left, he instructed me to preserve Kirigakure's remaining strength."

Being a pacifist, Mei's long-standing wish was to end the bloodshed in Kirigakure and return the village to a path of peace.

Thus, her first decision as Mizukage was to withdraw from the war.

Without waiting for a response, Mei decisively left the room.

"This is good news," Ōnoki remarked, unbothered by Kirigakure's withdrawal. "With Kirigakure out, it means they've given up on the Three-Tails and Six-Tails. Once we defeat the Uchiha, whoever captures these Tailed Beasts will claim them."

"What do you all think?"

He posed the question, glancing at the other three Kage.

The three Kage exchanged glances, each lost in their thoughts.

Two Tailed Beasts were a massive temptation for any ninja village. Who wouldn't want such power?

After leaving the meeting room, Mei Terumī immediately sent a message to the Uchiha clan via a crow, revealing that Turtle Island's location had been exposed.

That very day, she led the remaining thousand-plus members of Kirigakure on a journey back to the Land of Water.

Although one village had withdrawn, Kirigakure's forces were already limited. Their departure didn't significantly impact the Shinobi Allied Forces, which still numbered over twenty thousand.

The next day, under the joint command of the four Kage, the Allied Forces left three thousand to guard the base, while the rest set out in full force.

Their destination: Turtle Island.

This time, determined to defend the peace of the shinobi world, the four major ninja villages were resolved to wipe out the Uchiha clan.

Every last one of them.

Meanwhile, on Turtle Island.

Itachi stood by the window, gazing out at the sea. A crow flew in from across the waters, landing on his hand.

He opened the message tied to the crow's leg. It was intel from Mei Terumī, stating that Turtle Island's location had been compromised.

Itachi wasn't surprised.

Ten minutes later, an emergency meeting was convened within the Uchiha clan.

"They're finally coming, huh?"

Upon learning that the Shinobi Allied Forces were aggressively approaching, members like Fugaku Uchiha looked grave.

Although the Uchiha clan boasted several elite shinobi and controlled two Jinchuriki, the enemy also had numerous experts, including the four Kage themselves.

Moreover, the Shinobi Allied Forces numbered twenty thousand, while the Uchiha's combatants were only about a hundred. The ratio was 200:1.

This meant that, on average, each Uchiha ninja would have to defeat two hundred enemies for the Uchiha clan to win this war.

It was impossible.

Direct confrontation was out of the question. It would be a death wish.

"We'll have to play pirates and use guerrilla tactics," Fugaku declared, having mentally prepared for this. He knew that staying on Turtle Island was a sitting duck strategy. The best approach was to use the vast sea to play a game of "hide and seek" with the Allied Forces, engaging in guerrilla warfare.

The enemy might have numbers, but on this vast ocean, even two hundred thousand wouldn't be able to effectively surround the Uchiha clan.

Itachi agreed with his father's perspective, adding, "With the Allied Forces' twenty thousand spread out on the sea, even with their provisions like soldier pills, they'll eventually run out of supplies. If we can drag this out for a year or so, continuously harassing them with hit-and-run tactics, we can destabilize their morale and wear down their will."

Hearing Itachi's suggestion, everyone nodded in agreement, finding it logical.

The Uzumaki clan had been wiped out overnight because they had to defend the Uzushiogakure and the Land of Whirlpools, leaving them with no retreat.

In contrast, the Uchiha clan, now adrift on the sea, had no ties holding them back.

Turtle Island was a good base, but it wasn't irreplaceable. If necessary, they could always find a new sanctuary.

The challenge was the several hundred non-combatant members of the Uchiha clan. Having these civilians with them during a sea battle against the Allied Forces would undoubtedly be a hindrance.

How could they address this?

"Dan, what do you think?"

Noticing that his younger brother-in-law had been silent, Fugaku posed the question.

Itachi looked at his sister, Mikoto, who gazed back with hopeful eyes, seemingly believing in her brother's capabilities.

Considering the risks of transplanting Hashirama's cells, at Itachi's request, Mikoto was the only Uchiha ninja who hadn't undergone the procedure.

He would protect her.

Enough was enough.

For the sake of giving his sister the peaceful life she desired, he, as her younger brother, should contribute.

With that thought, "I know a place where we can safely relocate the non-combatant members of the Uchiha clan," Itachi calmly stated.

Three days later.

In the Kamui dimension.

In the past, there was only a single wooden house here, created by Dan.

Now, under the influence of the Wood Style: Four Pillar House Technique, hundreds of wooden villas have sprung up, forming a circular village around the original wooden house.

In addition, there were ample supplies like food and water, and... people.

Over these three days, Dan used Kamui to gradually transport the non-combatant members of the Uchiha clan to this dimension.

All five hundred of them.

Even for Dan, this drained a significant amount of chakra, leaving him somewhat exhausted.

After recovering from the disorientation of spatial travel, the Uchiha clan members woke up, curiously observing their surroundings.

Members of the village council were also present.

Apart from Tsunade, who seemed unfazed, everyone else looked astonished.

"Is this the Kamui dimension?" Kakashi murmured.

Having Obito's left eye for so many years, he never realized its true power.

Although that eye ended up with Dan, Kakashi felt no resentment. After all, only someone like Dan could harness the full potential of the Kamui Sharingan.

This power would help the Uchiha clan survive their extermination crisis, possibly win the war, and eventually return to Konoha.

Saving Konoha was Kakashi's ultimate wish.

Fugaku surveyed the vastness of the Kamui dimension, equally amazed.

There were differences even among Mangekyō Sharingan. That Obito could create such a dimension with his ocular power was incredible.

It was a shame that Obito betrayed the clan and used this power to cause trouble for the Uchihas.

Fortunately, now in Dan's hands, Kamui was finally being used right.

"I've counted. All non-combatants have been safely relocated. Apart from a few who felt unwell due to the transfer, there were no unexpected issues," Tetsu reported to Fugaku, conveying the clan's gratitude to Dan. "Thank you for your hard work, Dan."

But there was still a concern.

"While the Kamui dimension is an excellent refuge, apart from our uncle, Obito can also access it. We must be wary of him," Itachi cautioned.

To which, Dan responded, "I'll personally guard this place against Obito. As for the outside matters, I'll leave them to you."

"Don't worry, Dan. The Uchiha clan will make the Shinobi Allied Forces realize the grave mistake they've made," Fugaku declared with a determined gaze.

Subsequently, Dan used Kamui again to transport Fugaku and the others out.

Those who remained included the non-combatant Uchihas, Samui, Mikoto, as well as Tsunade, Shizune, and of Karin.

Suddenly, ripples appeared in the dimension, and Obito discreetly emerged.

He had been scouring the world with Kisame and Kakuzu, searching for Nagato's whereabouts, when he sensed a disturbance in the Kamui dimension.

Although he suspected Dan's involvement, seeing the entire Uchiha clan relocated to the Kamui dimension left Obito stunned.

They seemed to be settling in for the long haul.

Damn it.

What did they think this place was, to so brazenly claim it?

Obito clenched his fists in anger, veins bulging on his forehead.

His primary advantage in the ninja world was Kamui.

But now, with the Uchiha clan taking residence here, Obito dared not use Kamui carelessly. If he were to phase into the Kamui dimension and get stabbed by a passing Uchiha...

He might die on the spot.

Without Kamui, Obito, with just a regular Mangekyō, might not even stand a chance against Tetsuhi or Chiyoko.

Let alone Dan.

"That guy's here too..."

Obito squinted, sensing a familiar chakra from a distant part of the village.

It was Dan.

So, he dared not approach.

Taking a deep breath, Obito tried to calm his rage.

His home was occupied, and he was powerless against it. For now, he had to endure.

"Dan Uchiha, just you wait. The humiliation you've given me, I, Obito Uchiha, will return it tenfold someday."

With those words, Obito's figure distorted and vanished.
