The muffled sound of a song from Qie Xieling's favourite movie caught Luo Muchen's attention. He pulled the covers off the bed but there was nothing. The ringing didn't stop. He checked underneath the bed and lo and behold his phone was there.
He checked his contact list for the head of security in the building when he heard the soft creak of the suite's door. He spun around, heart in his throat, and there stood Qie Xieling, holding a food bag.
"Hey," he said with a bright smile like nothing had happened just now. He placed the bag on the counter and glanced at him. When he saw that his expression wasn't good he asked, "Mu Mu? What's wrong?"
Luo Muchen's legs gave way, and he sat on the bed. "You...you keep disappearing," he choked out obviously unable to separate reality from dreams. Who could blame him? That dream was too real and when he woke up Qie Xieling was gone. "I woke up, and you were gone. You even left your phone behind."
