Mood swings

"If you are worried that I will do something to you, you don't have to. I am a gentleman," he said but Qie Xieling wouldn't be stupid enough to fall for that.

"Stop talking and go to sleep," said Qie Xieling and Luo Muchen fell silent for a while but when he recalled that Qie Xieling hadn't given him the gift he bought for him earlier he asked,

"So can I have that pendant you bought for me," his voice softer than usual as though coaxing him but Qie Xieling scoffed.

"You lied to me and pretended to be an old uncle. You don't deserve that gift," he said and Luo Muchen couldn't argue with him about it because he knew he was in the wrong. He shouldn't even have bothered to ask but he had this inexplicable feeling that that pendant belonged to him and that if Qie Xieling gave it to someone else he might kill someone.
