Not To Be Taken Lightly

" If you ask me I would say I love what you are wearing " he said as he willed his fingers to run down her arms and up her smooth shoulders . A pleasurable shudder run through her causing her eyes to turn hooded at once ." Fuck this woman will be the death of me" he thought as he noticed the look in her innocent eyes .

" Go get dressed up and let's nap together , I'm quite exhausted " he told her pushing her towards her closet gently. Adir have been in the company looking at some important documents for hours so he was really tired , plus he was hungry . But seeing his woman has taken away almost all his fatigue but the hunger was still there. He sighed as he loosened his tie , he took off his suit and rolled up his sleeves to his elbows revealing his strong and firm arms , he took off his tie completely along with his shoes .

He hanged his suit and tie on the hangar between the closet and bathroom door , he opened two buttons of his shirt and ran a hand through his dark hair while he sat on her bed with a relaxed sigh as Mirabelle exited the closet wearing a yellow t-shirt and a black short , she frowned when she saw how haggard Adir looked . " Don't sleep yet , I will be right back " she said to him exiting the room while his perfectly thick brows shot up in question.

Mirabelle came back in ten minutes with a tray of food and water . She set it on the tea table and motioned for him to come and have a seat , he did as he was told . " Eat " she said sternly shocking him but still proceeded to do as he was told once again .

" Is your company more important than your health...? " Mirabelle asked him sternly after he was done eating , he scratched the back of his head with a sheepish smile on his face . " I'm sorry I just forgot to eat since I wasn't at home " he apologized.

" I'm letting you off just this once . Forget it I will bring it to the company myself " she muttered picking up the tray as she exited the door while he sat there with a dumbfounded look. He sighed helplessly as what she had said earlier registered in his mind. He laid on the bed with his legs on the floor , Mirabelle walked in and laid beside him as he adjusted himself on the bedroom well .

" Come here , let's cuddle " he said to her pulling her into his arms gently . "Calm down I'm not going eat you " he whispered running his fingers through her wavy silver blonde hair. " At least not yet" he thought to himself secretly as she relaxed in his arms. Mirabelle has never been in any man's arms before and that's because she never had a relationship with any man so is realistic for her to tensed up whenever Adir touches her but she's getting used to have him around because it is good to have someone.

Renly woke up panting with wide eyes , he just had a terrible nightmare , infact to him it was beyond terrible , he starred at his side only for his eyes to meet the white sheets . He got down from the bed sprinting out of the room while wincing in pain . He got downstairs panting. , Adir casted him a petrified look while he looked around as if searching for something . " Where's she ? " he asked .

" Kitchen " Azure replied with one word , both men watched with raised brows as he took large strides towards the kitchen . " What was that about...? " Adir asked Azure.

" I don't know , I think we should check it out " Azure replied , both of them walked towards the kitchen .

Renly stepped into the kitchen , he walked in the direction of the counter and wrapped his arms around her waist as Adir and Azure walked in. The maids and his family looked at the scene with furrowed brows , there was something about the way he embraced her that has their hearts squeezing in pain .

" Are you okay " Zilvshun asked setting down the knife she was using to cut the ingredients earlier . Renly turned her around so that he was looking into her eyes . Zilvshun frowned looking into his misty eyes , damn his hands were trembling . Zilvshun pulled the young man into her arms in a comforting embrace while his mom told the maids to walk out for a while. She didn't want them to see her son in his vulnerable state.

As soon as the maids walked out and shut the door Renly broke down in heartbreaking sobs , his painful cries thug the heart strings of the others as Zilvshun tightened her arms around him , she wondered what could have made him breakdown like this .

" It's okay , everything is fine I promise" she whispered not sure why she even said that.

" I saw you die " he said with trembling voice as the others eyes widened at his revelation. " You gave your life for mine , it felt so real . I don't want to loose you . I refuse to " he continued . " You won't loose me " she replied reassuringly .

Renly's mother eyes has turned misty hearing her son's heartbreaking words , can't her son be happy ? , why does her eldest son have to get everything but just to loose it at the end..? , this were the thoughts running through her head as she starred at the couple . But something else was bothering her and that's Renly's nightmare , he's not the nightmare type because whenever he has one it doesn't end well.

" Sit down let me get you a glass of water " she said softly to the young man who hummed and loosened his arms around her , she took a tissue and wiped his tearstained cheeks with a soft sigh . She walked towards the fridge , took a bottle of water , emptied the content into a glass and gave it to him.

Renly gulped down the water , it helped in calming him down , he looked up at her with complicated emotions for a while before standing up , he kissed her forehead and walked out silently , non of them knew what was going on in his mind right at that moment which caused a chorused sigh to slip out of their lips.

" Mom this is bad " Mirabelle said out loud. She was afraid of what might happen in the future , her brothers dreams and nightmare are not to be taken lightly .

" I know sweetheart , I need to talk to your father about this , call back the maids " she stated before walking out.

" I will just go check on him " Azure muttered walking out as well , Mirabelle went out to call the maids.

Adir walked towards his sister , he took her hands into his with a slight smile. "He loves you " he told her causing her to raise her brows in question.

" No man would react that way if he doesn't love his woman , he might not realize it now but he would when the time comes " he said to her with a reassuring smile.

" I don't know but I feel like he's gonna make a decision that would hurt him " she replied sadly.

" I know but you should allow him for as long as you can , I'm not saying you should give up on what you both have , I'm saying I know what you are capable of doing and I will support you two all the way , no matter what happens he's yours " he told her truthfully.

" I can see that you are letting go of your past unknowingly since you met him which is a good thing . If he can make you forget then you can do it too " he added.

" I'm not sure if I could do it especially with her around " she replied unsure of what he told her.

" I have seen you pull through anything , you can do it , for both of you " he assured pulling her into his arms. Mirabelle who was standing at the entrance of the kitchen smiled after hearing everything Adir had said. The young man was really thoughtful. She motioned for the maids to go in as Adir let go of his younger sister.

" Go check up on him " he said pushing her in the direction of the door gently as she released a sigh of helplessness . Adir ran a hand through his hair with a sad smile on his lips. " Are you okay? " Mirabelle asked seeing his distress look. " I'm worried about them because I had the same nightmare " he revealed causing her to gasped softly . " When " she asked not containing her shock.

" Thirty minutes ago " he responded taking a deep breath and releasing it. " That was why you had wanted to see her to make sure she was alright " she stated as he hummed in response.

While downstairs Renly was sitting in the couch with his back leaning against it , his head was thrown back and his eyes were tightly shut. " If you ever dare to be with her I will come for her " a voice sounded in his mind evilly causing his eyes to snap opened .
