Chapter 0: Save the So-called Villainess

"Kill this insolent fool!"

The emperor shouted to the Queen inside the throne room. Inside the room were the Empress, Emperor, a few guards with a Dane, and the Queen whom was kneeling down, begging sincerely.

"Your Highness! You must have been mistaken! I was not trying to harm the Empress nor you, your Highness!"

The Emperor walks down leaving his throne. He makes a disgusted face as he slaps the Queen while looking down to her, afterwards he used his left hand to hold her face by her chin with a firm grip.

"I can't believe it, how screwed are you?! You can't possibly be doing this as your last resort, after doing all these hideous things, you act like you have forgotten- amnesia, the next thing you'd do is probably blame the Empress, huh."

His face was deemed in anger, as he pushed off the Queen out of his sight.

"Believe me your Highness, I didn't try to poison both you and the Empress! I was simply doing my duty as the Queen of the Empire!"

She spoke with agony, crying as she begs for mercy. While the Empress was sitting on her throne, grinning to the Queen.

"So poisoning the Emperor and the Empress is part of your duty as the Queen?"

The Emperor sat back on his throne while being disgusted to the current situation.

The Empress then pinned her arm towards the King, crying as she pleads mercy for the faithful Queen.

"Your Highness, even if the Queen has done something in attempt of assinating both of us, we shoudn't take the life of others... she probably had a good reason to do this beyond her judgement.."

The Queen looked at the Empress bottling up her anger towards her.

Why is she making it sound like I really tried to do it... For all my life I devoted myself to you, your highness and even for the Empire. Since you met her, you suddenly have a change of heart demoting me to a Queen! Do you know what it costs?! My family's well-being and reputation! And my pride and love towards you! My dignity as a noble woman...

That Empress clings to you allday, while I do all her work! What kind of Empress are you?! I can't understand... why am I the bad guy here.

"Well then, my Queen, I shall forgive you if you kiss the Empress's foot while you beg for forgiveness." He stared at the Queen with a smirk.

"P-P-Pardon?!"  I answered, quite shocked. The people in the throne room all started to talk and whisper to each other secretly as they look towards me, their face was either filled with pity, disgust, or hatred.

"What are you waiting for? Do you want to die or what?! Your family's life is already on the line here!"

"Wh- what do you mean your Highness? Please, I beg you, don't involve my family into this matter..." I was horrified by what I heard, lowering my head as it touches the floor, a full pleading pose.

"This is a serious issue, and of course your dear father.. was quite insane a few days ago barging into this palace." The Emperor's face started to turn dull, like it was started to lose its amusement.

"Stop blabbering and do as I say. I'm started to get annoyed and bored on how long this useless talk is taking."

I slowly rise up and go in front of the Empress kneeling down, the Empress smirked nervously as my face reached her foot.

"If it's for my family's safety... I- I shoudn't hesitate... "

As I was about to kiss her foot, the feeling of someone's foot was upon my head had stopped me, nervously once again I looked up... that I didn't even notice up until now I'm still shivering.

My eyes widen, upon seeing the Emperor's face seemingly he was looking down upon me.

"I can't believe you will go that far! How foolish my Queen.." He laughed hysterically, while I'm still frozen looking at him.

"I don't want you to kiss her foot, especially by that disgusting mouth of yours! I've had enough of you already, seeing you like this- feels like you're a mockery towards this Empire."

"Guards, take this foolish woman back to her cell, and furthermore ready yourself, Queen Alicia Astarte, for your execution, I'm sure the whole kingdom will rejoice, as the palace will be peaceful once again."
