SAVE THE BILLIONAIRE

Life was unfair. Hard, lonely, dark. But even still, Isabella learned to smile, she learned to hide her pain, dissatisfaction, her fears and her secret as well. Isabella practically grew up alone cause nobody wanted her. She was casted out by her own family and was sent to the orphanage, were she ran away from to start a new life for herself. Living behind her painful past. Seated on the shore by the ocean as she watched the waves crash beautifully against each other, as she felt the cool breeze on her skin, Isabella thought of what it would be like if her life would ever have a change. CAUGHT IN THE ACT

One could say Isabella was truly an angel; too kind, too caring, innocent and naive. And even when people took advantage of it, she never judged nor held grudges. She could remember the day she was deceived into giving out her day's savings.

That day her eyes had turned misty and she released a painful sob before burying her face in her palm.

Life was so unbearable to her that she felt the weight on her shoulders. Why me? Why should all of these happen to me? Those questions she had asked herself had remained unanswered to her.

She opened the door to her small apartment and slumped on the only couch in her room.

After some minutes, she lay on the couch, coiled up in a foetus position. Her brown hair fell to the side, covering her eyes but she didn't bother to move it. Like that, she slept off.

...

"Are you sure this is the right place?" The girl asked as she walked deeper into the dark room, holding a dimly lit candle.

"Miss Clara specifically told us to get the chairs from here." Another girl who was trailing at the back replied.

The first girl hesitated for a while, she didn't like this. It was way too dark for her liking and most of all, there wasn't any chair in sight.

She turned back when she heard the door closing and the candle fell from her hand as she rushed to the door.

"Let me out. Let me out of here." She cried, banging her fist on the door.

"Shut up freak." The second girl answered from the outside.

"That's your punishment for trying to outshine me. Fool." She spat.

The girl's fear increased when she heard the retreating step of the second girl.

"Let me out. Diana let me out of here please." She cried hopelessly.

Soon the candlelight died off and darkness covered the whole room.

A hand grabbed her leg and she released an ear-splitting scream.

.....

Isabella jolted up breathlessly when she heard the knock on her door. After a moment of looking around her room, she realized that it was just a dream. A dream of what had happened to her some years back. She tried to steady her breathing as she swept her long hair back, sweat embedded on her face.

Soon, she climbed out of the couch. The knocking came again and she stood up weakly to open the door. It was the landlady.

"Hello, Mrs..."

"You're three months behind payment young lady." She said, disdain evident in her voice.

Isabella lowered her head. "I'll pay you, ma'am. I..I just need a little more time please." She said softly.

"One week. I'm giving you one week to pay the money." The landlady warned before giving her a last hard look then walked away.

Isabella sighed heavily and closed the door. Still feeling weak from the day's work. Her head thundered heavily, not just from the stress day's work but also from the land lady's words. How was she to get this money in just a week?

Beads of sweat formed on her forehead as she remembered her dreams again. That trauma that haunted her. With all these thoughts, her heart began to beat faster and she felt the land lady's voice bang on her head heavily. Her knees buckled and before she knew it, her feet gave way to the floor.

...

When she awoke, she found herself in an unfamiliar room which had a familiar scent. The smell of scented oil.

Her eyes moved to the side and she sat up holding her head.

"Oh Mama, papa. She's awake." That was Mason's voice.

Isabella squinted to regain her blurry sight back. She noticed she was inside Mrs Ferdinand's room. Beside Mrs Ferdinand was her husband and Mason staring at her.

"Mrs. Ferdinand?" She muttered.

Mrs. Ferdinand breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank the good Lord you're awake,"

"How are you, young lady?" Mr. Ferdinand asked.

"Yeah, what happened? I came to show you my performance in class today and I saw you spawled on the floor. I had to get Papa so he'll carry you." Mason explained to Isabella.

Isabella smiled at the boy. "It's sprawled, baby Mason." She corrected.

The boy pouted at his failure to use a big word.

"Sorry for the trouble Mr. Ferdinand. I was just so tired." Isabella said.

"You're overworking yourself, Isa." Mrs. Ferdinand cautioned.

Isabella lowered her head, staring at her palms. "I have to Mrs. Ferdinand, it's the only way to survive and pay my depths." She replied.

Silence reigned for a while before Mason cleared his throat to break the awkward silence.

"Miss Bella, wanna have lunch with us?" He asked.

"Yes dear, eat with us. My moon pie here made some chicken soup and rice." Mr. Ferdinand added.

"Oh, you." Mrs Ferdinand hit her husband's arm playfully.

Isabella smiled. "I'd love to." She replied.

"Great." Mason jumped happily and pulled her from the bed, dragging her to the dining table.

BACK IN B CITY

It's been nearly two weeks since Sebastian was made the CEO of Orbit and also since he proposed to Clarissa but then things started to go wrong.

Two days ago, they both fought. According to Clarissa, Sebastian never had time for her. He accused him of always focusing on his work and having no time for her. Which in some Sebastian doubted was the reason for her anger towards him.

Clarissa became the needy type, always seeking attention and Sebastian knew that. Even after explaining to her that he had less time than he did before, she was still adamant and said he was cheating on her.

Thunder clapped heavily in the sky as it began to rain.

Sebastian watched as the people scrabbled to get shelter while others used their umbrellas. Another thunderbolt sounded and he moved away from the window.

He got his phone and made a call to Clarissa but it still was the same thing. No answer.

He sighed and sat down, rubbing his temples tiredly.

His phone dinged and he immediately grabbed it thinking it was Clarissa but what he saw instead was; Star Hotel, room 150.

His brows dropped to a frown. "What the heck?"

He tapped the number to make a call but it didn't go through.

He sat there feeling so pressured and confused, that his head hurt like hell.

After what seemed like an eternity, he stood up and went into the inner room to change into comfortable wear.

He came out wearing a black jean and a black jacket with a white shirt underneath and an umbrella. With that, he set out.

Minutes later, his car pulled over and came to a stop at STAR HOTEL, he found a spot to park his car and he alighted from it and then adjusted the face cap he wore.

On getting to Room 150 he raised his hands to knock but paused halfway.

[What's this, what the fuck is he doing here?]

But then, he couldn't just shake this inner feeling off. He believed the message he got was not ordinary. That was exactly what pushed him to this place since he couldn't get his mind off it. What if Clarissa had decided to make this up with him?

With this hope, he knocked again.

He took in a deep breath and turned the door knob.

[What! The door isn't locked?!]

He stepped in cautiously, heightening his senses in case of an impending danger.

He stepped in further and stopped when he heard moans.

He grimaced. "Moans? Seriously?" No, this can't be. This must be a setup.

He turned to leave but halted when he heard a voice. That voice...

"Fuck baby, faster... Go faster."

Without wasting time, Sebastian hastened back into the room. The moment he had a better view of who was in the room, his head banged at what he saw.

"Wh...what... what's this?" He muttered, his lips shook violently.

Before him was his fiancee, Clarissa Kings and a guy fucking her from her behind.

She was moaning endlessly, saying words due to the pleasure which coursed through her.

Sebastian stood watching the unholy scene before him, his eyes not moving one bit as he took in everything.

Clarissa turned and her eyes widened like the moon when she saw him, the guy continued banging her as he grunted in pleasure.

"Se... She... Sebastian?" She stammered but it came out like a moan. She immediately moved away from the guy and his dick fell out. He groaned.

"What is it, babe?" The man asked trying to get a hold of her.

"Sebastian, please. It's not what.... this isn't what it looks like..." Clarissa struggled to pick up her clothes.

The guy turned and he fell without being pushed, his face went white with shock.

Sebastian just kept staring at them blankly.

"Babe," Clarissa called. She was in shock, wondering how he knew she was here.

His lips raised and he let out a laugh which sent chills down their spines.

That wasn't any laugh, it sounded psychotic. Needless to say, you could see the maniac glint in his eyes.

"You can continue your enjoyment, Clarissa," Sebastian smirked with a hardened look on his face. His fist clenched as he shockingly sat on the sofa beside him as if he was ready to continue watching a movie which was cruelly acted before him.

I would like to know if you enjoy this book.
