Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

Luna and I had spent almost 3 hours with Hela, Mereo, Saphira and Arya before they left, being taken back to the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary.

We played and talked with the dragons, with me translating everything the fire-breathing lizards said to Luna, who was completely excited to be interact with them.

It's obvious that as a Ravenclaw and a lover of magical creatures, Luna also asked the dragons several questions, who were happy to answer them.

And I was impressed to see how quickly it was for Luna to make friends with them, but after thinking a little it was easy to understand why.

Saphira liked Luna because of her cheerful personality and because she was someone the blue dragon could talk to for hours.

Mereo liked Luna because she found someone almost as crazy as her, and who didn't mind enjoying her fiery show, and Arya found the blonde girl interesting, easy to talk to and calm, which matched her shy personality.

And as for Hela... well, the scary black dragon decided to befriend Luna mainly because she was my friend, but I'm sure the other reason was because Luna kept praising her, and this proud dragon would obviously like someone who appreciated her "beautiful appearance" and "incredible abilities".

And to think that to be friends with Hela I had to kick her ass in a fight.

And in fact, Luna's cheerful personality and the ease she has in making people like her is impressive...

But well, back to the topic, Luna really enjoyed the time she spent with her new friends, and I was pleased to see how happy she was, and I knew as soon as I saw her smiling and laughing that I made the right choice in inviting her.

But unfortunately we couldn't spend more time with the dragons and it would be difficult for us to see them again once they were in the reserve.

Of course, I promised that I would visit them at the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary, and I would keep my promise, but it would be difficult and not quick.

But while I didn't visit them I would continue with the memories we made together, and those memories were something that Luna and I would never forget.

And I could already say that these were one of my favorite and most fun memories, and I was sure it was the same for Luna.

-Next Day – Room of Requirement-

It was in the morning during the first class of the day, which was supposed to be Charms, but I had spoken to Professor Flitwick and used my privilege as champion to skip his class.

And while all the students and teachers were in the classrooms, I was in the Room of Requirement, which had been transformed into a room with a large, deep pool.

And I had asked for this room because I was going to use the pool to hear the clue, or better said, the song that was in the golden egg.

And I already knew what the clue was hidden in the song, but even so I still wanted to hear it, both outside the water and inside, mainly because of curiosity.

And next to the pool, wearing just a swimming trunks, was me, sitting cross-legged on the floor while looking at the golden egg in my lap.

"How do I open this?" I wondered, picking up the egg and inspecting it.

And while inspecting the magical device I saw some hinges on it, as well as a small button on the top of it.

And seeing this button I knew that it would only be necessary to press it for the egg to open and the Merpeoples' song to start playing.

And remembering that out of the water the song would sound like a horrible, deafening sound, almost like the scream of a Banshee, I began to prepare myself.

"It's times like these when I regret having all my senses more powerful than a normal person's" I grimaced.

But shaking my head I returned to focus on the current task, and taking a deep breath I took my hand to the top of the golden egg, and very lightly pressed the button on it.

And as soon as the button was pressed the egg opened, and I immediately braced myself for the screeching noise.

"Come seek us where our voices sound,

We cannot sing above the ground,

And while you're searching ponder this;

We've taken what you'll sorely miss,

Na hour long you'll have to look,

And to recover what we took,

But past na hour, the prospect's black,

Too late, it's gone, it won't come back."

"Huh?" I looked at the egg confused, "Why am I listening to the song? The egg is not under water"

And with that doubt in mind I looked at the egg with a thoughtful look, frowning slightly.

And after a few seconds I blinked.

"My Beast Talk" I murmured, feeling realization hit me, "I could understand the song because it is in Mermish, a magical language."

"I knew I could understand Mermish if I listened to the language at least once, but I didn't expect that listening to it through a magical device would allow me to understand it."

And with feelings of surprise and excitement I looked back at the golden egg.

"Well, this saves me all the trouble of getting into the pool," I said, listening to the song repeat.

And listening to the part where it says that they will take what I will miss, I frowned.

'I was so focused on finding a way to move and breathe underwater to complete the second task that I forgot that the real objective of the task is to rescue a hostage' I thought.

'But the question now is: Who will they take as my hostage?'

-A little later – Lunch-

After listening to the clue inside the golden egg, I continued for a while longer in the Room of Requirement, training my combat underwater and seeing how good I was at casting the spell I created to transform myself into a Fishman.

And when I felt satisfied with my progress I left the magic room, noticing that the morning classes were over and it was almost lunch time.

And feeling a little hungry I started heading towards the Great Hall.

I had gone through some secret passages to get to the ground floor faster, but as soon as I arrived in front of the Entrance Hall I felt Crouch Junior's magical signature in front of me.

"Good afternoon Mr. Night" the 'old auror' said, coming towards me after coming out from behind a pillar.

'Was he waiting for me?' I wondered warily, but greeted him anyway.

"Good afternoon Professor Moody" I nodded at him.

The fake Moody then stopped in front of me and looked me up and down, with his magical eye traveling over my body, making me shudder internally.

"You were impressive on the first task, son," he said, and I blinked slightly in surprise.

"Err... Thank you" I thanked him with a strange look.

But ignoring my look he continued to speak.

"I knew you were an intelligent and powerful wizard, but not even I was expecting that level of magic from you."

"And you know, there aren't many people who would be able to subdue a dragon alone, much less tame one" and saying this his two eyes focused on me as his interest in me increased.

And feeling his intense gaze on me I resisted the urge to reach for my wand.

"You, Mr. Night, have proven yourself to be an exceptional wizard, and I could even say dangerous…" he finished the sentence in a low, tense tone, and I could see that his hands were gripping his walking stick more tightly.

And only the lack of warning from my instincts prevented me from taking my wand out of its holster, but I still continued to look at him intently.

And in the next instant the retired Auror relaxed, and the air around us became less intense and heavy.

"And that being said, I'm excited to see how you do on the other two tasks" he finished with a scary smile.

And after saying that, the old man didn't wait for me to say anything and walked past me, continuing to walk while limping on his wooden leg, until he disappeared around the corner of the corridor, leaving me alone in front of the entrance hall.

And after a few seconds passed with me standing still, I felt Barty Junior's magic far away from me, and then I finally relaxed.

'Damn, why is this guy so interested in me?' I asked myself with a frown on my face, 'Doesn't he have other students to torment?'

But shaking my head I tried to ignore this short interaction I had with the fake Moody, not wanting to think about it too much as I knew it would only make me more stressed.

And luckily for me someone showed up to help me get the crazy, sadistic death eater out of my mind.

"Ethan" I heard a soft and sweet voice call me.

And turning around I saw Fleur walking towards me with a happy look on her face.

"Hi Fleur" I greeted her as soon as she arrived in front of me.

"Hi" she greeted me back with a small smile.

However, that smile didn't last long, as the French girl looked at me with a slightly nervous expression while biting her lip.

"Do you remember the promise we made to talk and answer each other's questions after the first task was over?" she asked me.

"Yes," I said, looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

"Well... I think it's time for this talk to happen" and she said this looking at me with the most serious look I've ever seen on her face.

End.
