-Three Days Later – The Burrow-

Three days had passed since my quest to get another Horcrux, and I spent those days relaxing at home.

I was able to relax as I had completed my mission perfectly, getting some important information in the meantime. Plus I also didn't have to worry about not knowing whether Crouch Junior was with Voldemort or not, which took a weight off my shoulders.

And besides those facts, I also couldn't train my magic as I was still grounded, not that I was upset about that, as having some time just for myself to rest was good, both for my mental and physical health.

I was also able to read some books that I had received as gifts for my birthdays and past Christmases, and these books did not involve my studies and were simple fantasy, science fiction, and even romance books.

I also spent a lot of my time with Cele, who was missing spending time with me since we couldn't see and play as much as we used to because of my school.

And in that time with Cele I ended up confirming that she didn't have any of the magical abilities that I did, something I thought could run in the family, like Parseltongue.

I knew that the chances of her having Beast Power were slim, but I still hoped that she, as the second wizard in the family having a blood connection to me, would at least have a weaker version of those abilities.

However, I couldn't find anything that showed this, which meant that either she didn't have these abilities or that they weren't awakened yet, which was unlikely.

But that was also a relief, as it was very difficult for me to control my abilities, even with a more mature mind, and I wouldn't want Cele to go through the trouble of having to control her empathy or senses.

Of course, those skills weren't necessary for Cele to get into trouble, as she still had her accidental magic attacks.

And unfortunately for my parents and I most of these accidental magics were more like pranks than anything else, and we always became Cele's targets.

Ironically the only person who could play a prank on me turned out to be my little sister, who still did it unconsciously, or at least I think it's unconsciously...

But changing the subject and leaving my rest time at home aside, let's focus on the present.

I was currently in the garden of the Weasleys' house, having been invited by the twins to spend the day with them, and at this moment I was watching Hermione scolding Harry and Ron for not doing the homework they were given over the holidays.

And it was obvious the difference in Hermione's treatment of the two, as while she spoke calmly and somewhat affectionately to Harry, she spoke impatiently and exasperatedly to Ron.

Of course, I wasn't the only one who noticed this from the knowing looks the twins were giving her, or the sadly accepting look Ginny was giving Harry, who was smiling slightly at Hermione.

'Sigh...young romance' I thought, shaking my head with a slight amused smile.

"I bet 10 Galleons they end up together by the end of their sixth year" Fred whispered.

"Well, and I bet they'll realize they're perfect for each other by the end of next year" George nodded.

"Oh, I'll join in the fun too" I said turning to them, "I bet they'll be a couple by just after Christmas" I stated.

And hearing me say it with such conviction and certainty brought the twins to a halt, with them looking at me suspiciously.

"...Okay" George said slowly, eyeing me analytically.

"Great" I said with a smile, "These are going to be the easiest 20 Galleons I've ever earned"

And saying that I looked back at the golden trio, an excited and somewhat frightening smile on my face.

"You know Fred, I think we just walked into a trap" George commented.

"Yes, I had the same feeling" Fred said, looking at me with narrowed eyes.

And as they reflected on their future loss of that bet and the loss of 20 Galleons, I kept looking at the golden trio.

'My little lovebirds, let's see if the Yule Ball won't make you realize that you're in love with each other' I thought, laughing internally evilly.

And Hermione and Harry who was reviewing some parchment with notes on Charms stopped, looking around as they wondered why they were having such a bad feeling.

''What was that feeling?'' they wondered.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After a morning of lots of games and fun with the Weasleys plus Hermione and Harry, I decided to take a walk around the village, as I had never explored the area beyond their house.

Walking a little way through the fields of the little village of Ottery St Catchpole, I saw a hill in the distance with a stream flowing at its base, and on top of that hill was a strange structure.

Getting a little closer to the structure I noticed that it was a large black tower, similar to a gigantic chess piece.

'Hmm, it's next to the burrow, it looks like a chess rook, and it's on top of a hill…' I started to think, putting a hand on my chin before the realization hit me, 'This is Luna's house!'

And realizing this I looked at the structure in front of me with curiosity.

'This house is strange, but it really suits Luna' I thought, looking at the quirky tower and its garden full of beautiful flowers.

'Hmm, should I go say hi to Luna?' I wondered, but then I felt Luna's magical signature coming from the back of the house approaching where I was standing.

And shortly afterwards I saw my dreamy friend appearing from inside the garden with an edition of the Quibbler in her hands, playing with a tulip that she had in her blouse.

And it didn't take long for Luna to notice that she had company, and as soon as she looked at me a surprised look came over her face, before it changed to joy and she came bouncing happily towards me.

"Ethan Night!?" she said happily, getting in front of me.

"Hi Luna Lovegood," I said, waving at her with an amused smile at her way of calling me.

"What are you doing here?" she asked, before cocking her head, "Have you come to visit?"

And listening to his question I could hear the anticipation in his quiet, curious voice.

"Well…" I started to think of an answer, before shrugging, "Yes, I came to visit you" I said with a smile.

"Cool" she said smiling, "I've never had a friend visit before"

"Oh…" I said, realizing how sad that sounded, even though she said it matter-of-factly.

But seeing that she wasn't sad about the situation I decided not to think about it too much, and just raised my hand and patted her on the head.

"Well, in that case then don't worry anymore, because whenever I have the opportunity I will come visit you" I said, "And besides, you can also come to my place whenever you want"

"Really?" she asked.

"Yes, and I'll even take you on a city tour to the places I go for fun"

"Yay" she cheered, and I laughed seeing that, remembering my innocent sister.

'Hmm, I think I'll also introduce her to Cele' I thought, 'I'm 100% sure the two of them will get along great' I nodded with a fond smile.

"Well, since you're going to take me for a tour when I come to visit you, I guess I have an obligation to take you for a tour now that you're here" Luna said, excited at the prospect of being my guide.

"That would be great," I said.

And before I could even finish the end of my sentence Luna grabbed my arm, pulling me along as she started talking happily about the places she wanted to take me and the creatures she wanted to show me.

And seeing her joy I could only smile as I shook my head.

'I guess it's becoming the norm for me to be dragged around by her, not that I'm complaining' I thought.

End.
