Savage: The Night Wizard - (A Harry Potter Fanfic)

I was an ordinary boy with a simple life... That is, until the day I died... and now I don't even know what is common in my life anymore! But in reality... I prefer it like this. Who would like to be normal if you could be a wizard? Especially if you're the greatest wizard ever! Well... I don't. ****************************************** Also help me in Patrë-on /Se7enX, there are advanced chapters for you and it motivates me to write even more. Yay! Here's the new chapter!

"Well, that's simple. From what I've seen and heard from the other students, Professor McGonagall is someone who faithfully follows the rules, so she wouldn't do something like cheat because it's incorrect. Professor Flitwick seems too good to do something like that, and I really don't think he cares about the House Cup. As for Professor Sprout, well... she's a Hufflepuff who is known for being the house of the righteous and hardworking, so her personality keeps her from play a dirty game" I finished my explanation.

"Makes sense," Terry said, nodding his head in understanding.

"But what about the students? Didn't they try to do anything?" Anthony kept asking.

"I think they've already tried to do something, and that was mainly Gryffindor, who because of the points taken unfairly must have started picking on Slytherin. And that's how the rivalry between the two Houses probably 'started'. .. Well, the fact that a lot of Slytherins, especially the purists who despise Muggles and Muggleborns, teased Gryffindor, who had a good part of the house's Muggleborns, must also have been one of the reasons" I replied after a moment of thought, hand on chin.

"Who knew a few simple stitches could make two Houses hate each other," Terry said.

"That and the fact that both Houses are very prejudiced and closed-minded," I said in disappointment.

"Good, but enough about it," I said right away. So I cast a {Tempus} to see what time it was.

[12:47]

"The break is almost over, so I think it's good that we get going. We still have to find the right classroom" I said after seeing what time it was, knowing that the break ended at 1pm.

"Well, let's get going then," Terry said as he rose from his spot on the floor, running a hand through his robes to brush away the dirt.

"Yes! If this teacher is as good as Ethan said, I can't wait to have a class with her" Anthony said excitedly as he quickly got up from the floor.

"Look…you excited for a class? That's a rare sight to see," I told Anthony with a face of mock amazement.

"Shut up," he said giving me a playful little push.

It didn't take long for us to find the Transfiguration classroom. It was on the first floor, near the Middle Courtyard, also known as the Transfiguration Courtyard.

The classroom was large, surrounded by tall windows, and had four rows of three tables, with each table containing two seats. The room still had enough space for several cages and bookcases, two blackboards, and a table for the teacher.

And on top of Professor McGonagall's desk, a yellow-striped tabby was sitting, and if you looked closely, you'd see eyeglass-like marks around the cat's eyes.

That cat, for those of you who aren't aware, is Professor McGonagall, who is an Animagus, a very advanced Transfiguration that allows a wizard to transform into an animal.

As I was walking at the front of the class, I felt someone looking at me. And turning in the direction I felt the gaze, I saw the cat/Professor McGonagall staring at me.

I then looked at her and gave her a little nod as I whispered "Hello, Professor Minnie" with a small smile. And I could see the cat's eyes widen slightly in surprise.

Sitting in my seat, with Terry beside me and Anthony at the table behind mine, I wait for the rest of the students to arrive.

"I can't believe it! We're going to be in the same room as Harry Potter!" Mandy Brocklehurst remarked ecstatically to her friend Morag MacDougal when they arrived in the room.

"Would he sign my book?!" MacDougal asked with a dreamy look.

"Ugh! I can't take it anymore. Everywhere is someone talking about Potter this, Potter that, like he really is someone special" Terry said with an annoyed face.

"Not a Potter fan?" I asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"It's not about being a fan. It's about the fact that everyone talks about him wherever I go, and it's starting to piss off." Terry replied, "What about you? Doesn't it bother you having to listen to everyone talking about Potter? " he then asked for me.

"I usually don't pay attention when they're talking about Potter," I replied with a shrug, "And I—" Anything else I was going to say was interrupted by Anthony, who from the back table leaned towards us and started speaking.

"Harry Potter! We're going to have a class with Harry Potter! I have all his books at home! I'm so excited!" Anthony told us excitedly in a whisper.

After hearing this, Terry and I looked at Anthony blankly, then at each other's faces...

"Oh God" "Oh Merlin" we said as we palmed our exasperated faces.

"What?" Anthony asked us confused.

"You are a Potter fanboy!" Terry said with an eye roll.

"But he's The Harry Potter! How can you not be excited?!" Anthony asked us incredulously.

"Why would I be excited?" I asked Anthony with a raised eyebrow, "You guys treat him like he's someone important or great, when in fact he's just another boy. I don't see any reason for such commotion."

"But he defeated the Dark Lord!" Anthony exclaimed in a whisper.

"Yes, but it could have been luck or chance, hell, it might not even have been him who defeated the Dark Lord" Terry replied in a whisper, with a shrug.

"And besides, do you really think he likes all this attention?" I asked Anthony, "I mean, everyone knows he was raised by muggles, right?" to which Anthony and Terry nodded, "And given the shy appearance he had at the sorting ceremony, I doubt he's comfortable with everyone at school gossiping about him, pointing fingers at him, whispering about him behind his back of him, and there are even the most intrusive ones who plan to ask for his autograph" I finished speaking, the last part being said with me glancing at Brocklehurst and MacDougal, who were sitting at a table together whispering to each other and laughing.

"I've never looked that way, but if it were me in his shoes I'd be really uncomfortable" Terry said after thinking for a moment.

"Sigh, alright, I get it. No fanboyism when Potter is around" Anthony said.

"Or when we're around" Terry said, "Because if you start with your Potter idolatry around me, I'll hex you!" he finished saying looking menacingly at Anthony.

"Okay, okay. No Potter around you either," Anthony said, rolling his eyes with his hands raised in surrender.

End.

(End AN: Hello my friends!

Sorry I didn't post Tuesday's chapter, but I was too busy and had too many things on my mind so I couldn't post anything, not even a warning. But know that I did not and will not abandon this story.

I would also like to thank everyone for their support, and say that the current chapters are short, but the later ones are longer. I'm also going to try to speed up the story a little bit, but not too much, as that could cripple character development, especially since I'm new to writing.

So that's it... Thanks for everything!)
