Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After I killed Myers with the Killing Curse, I again turned invisible with the Disillusionment Charm, and discreetly and silently left the cells room.

I was trying not to think about the fact that I had killed someone, but when I didn't think about it my mind would fill with bad thoughts, with anger and cruelty, and it didn't take me long to realize that this was the effect of me casting an Unforgivable Curse.

I confess that I didn't imagine that just casting an unforgivable would mess with my mind and my magic so much, since I really didn't think that any of the three curses had any harmful or evil effect on the caster.

I knew that there were many spells that corrupted the caster, and that using the unforgivable ones for a long time could cause this, but from what I researched and analyzed, this was not because of these three curses, but because the witch or wizard who was casting the spell was showing signs of being evil and dark.

Logically, it wasn't the curses that corrupted these warlocks, but these warlocks who turned evil and began to abuse the dark arts.

It's like the chicken and the egg situation, only in this case, the person becoming a dark wizard came before he started using any of the unforgivables without remorse.

And with all these facts, I started to wonder if maybe this theory of mine was wrong and the magic of the spell really started to cause me some negative effect.

And if that's not the case, what is causing this stir in my magic and in my mind?

'Why did I have to use an unforgivable?' I asked myself, frowning before sighing helplessly.

Shaking my head, I went back to focusing on my current mission.

Passing several Aurors and other Ministry employees, I made my way to the elevators, and entering one of them I stunned the attendant who was operating the elevator, using the Disillusionment Charm to hide him from Pettigrew's eyes.

After that I pulled the lever on the elevator controller, and the doors closed, with the elevator rising to take us to the Atrium floor. I also used a spell to lock the doors so other people couldn't get in or call the elevator so there wouldn't be any interruptions.

After doing that I took the cage in which I kept Pettigrew and took him out of it, putting him on the ground and reverting him to his human form, seeing that he was still unconscious.

I then used a bit of Transfiguration to change my appearance and clothes, making me look like an ordinary Auror, and to help me with the next part of the plan I created an illusion, making it look like another Auror.

Giving one last check on myself and the illusion I nodded satisfied to myself, and with that I grabbed one of Pettigrew's arms and woke him up, still leaving the silencing spell active.

And feeling Pettigrew wake up, I started my act.

"You know, I heard something weird the other day," I said in a normal conversational tone.

"What weird thing?" my illusion asked.

"The guys and I had gone out drinking at a pub after our office hour was over, and I heard Jorkins talking to a friend of hers."

"Jorkins? As in Bertha Jorkins the crazy one?" the illusion asked with a grimace, "You know she usually just says weird things, right?"

"Yes, I know, but this time the conversation was more awkward than usual" I said, "She was talking about some strange dreams she had about Mr. Crouch and—"

"Wow! You can stop there! I don't want to hear about Jorkins' perverted dreams of Mr. Crouch" my illusion said with a grimace and I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up and listen," I said, and clearing my throat I continued, "As I was saying, she said that in those dreams she went to Mr. Crouch's house, and that instead of finding him she found his elf domestic talking to someone"

"And what's weird about that? Of course, not to mention the fact that she's dreaming about it" the illusion asked.

"The strange thing is that she said the elf was actually talking to Mr. Crouch's son" I replied, and the illusion placed a hand on its chin in thought.

"Mr. Crouch's son? I didn't know he had a son," the illusion said.

"Me neither, but when I told the other guys about it Jack said that Mr. Crouch really had a son," I said.

"Serious?"

"Yes, and I did some research on him, and found that Mr. Crouch son's died in Azkaban"

"Azkaban?! Why would his son be in that disgusting place?"

"Because he was a Death Eater, and was condemned along with the Lestranges for torturing the Longbottoms"

"Holy crap!" the illusion exclaimed in a shocked whisper.

"Yeah, holy crap" I nodded, "And besides, Jorkins said she didn't remember much about the dreams, but some words she did remember were polyjuice, escape and imperius"

"Now I understand why you said it was an awkward conversation," the illusion said, and I nodded in agreement with a frown.

"But well, that just proves what we all know," the illusion said, and I looked at it with a raised eyebrow.

"And this is?"

"Bertha Jorkins is crazy"

"That I can't disagree with," I said.

And while my illusion and I talked, Pettigrew looked at us a little dazedly, seeing everything blurry but still able to hear what we were talking about.

And knowing that he didn't have much to do, he simply decided to stay put, pretending he was still unconscious to listen to our conversation, since he had learned that for someone as cowardly as he was, information would always be his best weapon.

Of course, in addition to the bits of information that my illusion and I were "accidentally" leaking to Pettigrew, I was also using my magic to manipulate his mind.

I wasn't doing much, but my wandless magic and mind tricks worked a lot better if I was touching my target, and now I was making Pettigrew more focused on my conversation.

Also, I was also bringing up some key words for your mind, thanks to the fact that Pettigrew didn't have any Occlumency shields.

The key words would help Pettigrew not forget them once he reached his master, and with those words always appearing in his mind he would find it necessary to mention them to Voldemort.

And it's impossible to deny that Voldemort is someone very cunning and intelligent, so it won't take long for him to connect the dots and discover that Crouch Junior is alive and with his father, and after that it won't take long for him to create and implement his resurrection plan.

"But changing the subject, did you hear the new news?" I asked my illusion, wanting to end the conversation as I knew the elevator was almost reaching the Atrium floor.

"New news?" my illusion asked.

"Yes, about the event happening at the end of this year" I said.

"Hmm, no, I don't know what you're talking about" the illusion said confused but with a curious look.

"Oh, really? This event is the most talked about thing in the ministry these days" I said, and then turned with a smug look at my delusion, "But don't worry, I, as a good friend, will tell you everything What I know"

"Yes, yes" the illusion rolled its eyes, but you could see that it was impatient to know about the event.

"Well, the event hasn't been officially confirmed, but I know that the minister already had a meeting with the ministers of magic from France and Bulgaria" I started to say, "And that meeting was to talk about reviving the great and dangerous Tournament Triwizard"

"You have got to be kidding!" the illusion said in shock, "Are they going to revive the Triwizard Tournament?! But wasn't it canceled because of the amount of deaths?"

"Well, yes... But from what I hear they're going to change the rules and tasks a bit to be less dangerous, at least for the public" I said with a shrug.

"Amazing" the illusion said in wonder, but then it shook its head and narrowed its eyes at me, "But wait, which school is hosting this tournament?" It asked, and my smile grew.

"Hogwarts" I replied, and I could see my illusion's eyes widen.

And looking slightly at Pettigrew I could see his eyes widen slightly before he went back to pretending he was still unconscious.

And seeing that I let a slight smile appear on my face, realizing that my plan was working.

End.
