Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After a small party to celebrate Ravenclaw's victory in our first match this school year, I waited for all the students to go to sleep and waited for the prefects to make their rounds, and after the last of the prefects had passed, I silently slipped out of the common room using some secret passages.

After going through some passages I went to the Girls' Bathroom on the second floor, and when I got there I was happy to see that Myrtle wasn't around.

As there was no one around I decided to try something that had been on my mind for a long time.

"{Serpensortia}!" I whispered, and just after that, from the tip of my wand came a large black snake that fell to the wet bathroom floor. As soon as it hit the ground the snake immediately rose up, looking for someone to attack.

"Calm down," I said, using my Beast Talk.

The snake then began to look at me carefully, and I continued to stare at it.

The snake, erect and frozen as if contemplating something, began to approach me, and without fear I bent down and stretched out my arm, letting the snake climb onto it.

With the snake coiled around my arm, I raised my other hand and started stroking her head.

'Hmm, so you're a girl' I realized after a quick analysis.

"Come on my little friend, I know that creatures, even if not magical, understand more about magic than the wizards who use it, so I know you know what you have to do" I whispered to the snake, even though I knew she couldn't understand me completely, even with me using my Beast Talk too.

I then moved the snake close to one of the sinks, where there was a snake-notched tap at the base.

"Let's go little friend," I said, making a slight connection with the snake using my Beast Talk to control its actions a little.

I also had my Magic Vision turned on, as I wanted to fully analyze how Chamber of Secrets passage magic worked, as one day I might try to replicate this style of passage.

But getting back to the main subject, I saw that the snake started to stare at the faucet fixedly, shaking its head from side to side, and through the connection I could feel that it was in some sort of trance.

After a few seconds with the snake facing the sink, I heard it hiss, and I made a point of paying attention to what it hissed.

With my Magic Vision I saw that the magic in the tap responded positively to the snake's hiss, but it didn't seem to be enough to open the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets.

But I expected this, which is why I was using my Beast Talk to connect with the snake.

"Good job little friend, {Vipera Evanesca}" I said, making the snake disappear in a waft of black smoke.

After I made the snake disappear, I went back to looking at the sink.

I stared at the sink for a long time, whistling in an attempt to mimic a snake's hiss.

At some point I felt that something that was locked inside my mind was unlocked.

"§Open§" I said, hissing like the snake, surprising even myself, as I hadn't expected the familiar feeling that came with the word and the language.

As soon as I finished talking, I saw the sink glow with a faint white light, and then the sink started to move, and in the end what was left was a large tunnel with a pipe that led to the Chamber.

"It worked," I said to myself, looking at the sink in surprise, even though I expected something like this to happen.

I continued to look at the entrance, but I didn't go down it. I then closed my eyes and concentrated a little, trying to bring out the same feeling I had when I first spoke Parseltongue.

"§Close§"

As soon as I hissed again, the sink started to move again, and in the end it returned to its place and the passage disappeared, with the bathroom returning to normal.

I stared at the sink for a while as I thought about the new discovery about my Beast Talk.

When I came here I expected to do the same as Ron, who learned to speak "open" in Parseltongue by listening to Harry mumble the word in his sleep, but I didn't expect to learn the language that many in the wizarding world consider dark.

"Apparently I only need to hear or try to speak any magical language once in order to learn it," I muttered to myself, satisfied with this new part of my abilities.

'With that I don't have to worry about finding a way in and out of the Chamber of Secrets anymore' I thought, taking one last look at the snake carving on the tap.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The rest of November passed quickly without any major happenings, and in that time I occupied myself with my training and studies.

I haven't been able to make much progress in my studies on unsupported flight, let alone replicate it correctly. The only time I was able to replicate this form of flight was by using wind and levitation spells to keep me aloft.

I found that unlike {Wingardium Leviosa} and {Accio}, my levitation or telekinesis as I prefer to call it, also works on living beings, or more specifically, on humans, something that none of the spells mentioned above can do.

I already tried to levitate myself using my telekinesis and all the levitation spells I knew, however the sensation is strange and even though I have a fondness for flying, I still felt that something was wrong with these forms of levitation and flight, at least when used on myself.

But that doesn't mean I won't use them, it just means I'll mostly use other spells or other means before trying to use any levitation spells on me.

Well, the other part of my studies that I was struggling with was learning spells that used Parseltongue.

I knew that Parseltongue was a magical language, otherwise I probably wouldn't be able to understand it, but my studies didn't advance because I couldn't find any books containing information about any magic or spell that used that language, even in the Room of Requirement.

I was still hoping to find something by looking in other wizarding communities, with India being one of the most likely to have something, but I wanted to learn as soon as possible as the Parseltongue could be the key to me defeating the Chamber of Secrets basilisk.

And finally, amazingly, my study of the Thestrals and their power to filter and clean magic was the research that was most successful.

I still didn't have a clear enough understanding to be able to replicate this skill, but I at least learned a few new things every day of research.

But I'll leave to talk about these new things I learned another day.

My physical training was a bit stalled, but that's because I wanted to focus on my magic training and my studies.

I know my spell casting speed has increased, as has the power of my spells. I can cast a string of 10 spells in quick succession in less than 20 seconds, which means I cast 1 spell every 2 seconds.

That speed still isn't good enough, but that's only when compared to the powerful wizards we know, like Voldemort and Dumbledore, and other adult wizards.

The only thing that is stressing me out is the fact that, even with great magic power, enough understanding of the spell, and a good amount of happy memories – mainly because I have two lifes of memories – I still can't cast a Corporeal Patronus, and I don't know what the damn reason is.

There's nothing to stop me from casting a Patronus, and I can say that this was the spell I've trained the most since I started doing magic, so why can't I form a damn corporeal Patronus?

No matter how much I think, I can't figure out why. I even thought that I would only be able to cast a corporeal Patronus if I was in combat with a Dementor, but that makes no sense.

Basically all the students who learned the Patronus from Harry in the DA, whether corporeal or incorporeal, never had any combat or even any form of approach with a Dementor.

But even though I got a headache from this spell, I had to put it aside for my other studies and projects for this year, even though I knew that next school year I would possibly have to face a Dementor.

End.

(End AN: We are in the sixth month of this year, which means that half of the year 2022 has passed.

With 6 months left to finish this year that was a very important year for me, I feel that time is passing very fast.

How has this year been so far for you?)
