Sasuke had waited for Kabuto Yakushi the entire night, but he never showed up. He didn't really need Kabuto's help to collect the scroll. Sasuke was just hoping to contact Orochimaru and make some deal with him. In his previous life, he had wanted to exchange some information with the snake-like man, but he was too weak to do so and ended up following some of the original plot. Now, with his current strength, he should be able to negotiate with Orochimaru without any problem.

The second day of the Chūnin Exams had passed. The sky was getting a little bright. Sasuke decided to wake up Sakura and Naruto and head straight to the tower. They could just take the scrolls from other teams who were trying to pass the exam.

Sasuke shook Sakura and Naruto was awake. They had spent the night hiding in a safe spot, avoiding any unnecessary confrontations with other teams. Sasuke had already collected one scroll from a team that had attacked them yesterday, but they still needed another one to complete the second stage of the exam.

Sakura: yawns Good morning, Sasuke-kun. Did you sleep well?

Sasuke: I didn't sleep. I was keeping watch.

Sakura: Oh, you should have woken me up. I could have taken a shift.

Sasuke: It's fine.

Naruto: rubs his eyes Are we leaving already?

Sasuke: Yes, we don't have much time left. We need to get to the tower as soon as possible.

Naruto: Right, right. Let's go.

Sakura: Sasuke-Kun, do you have a plan? How are we going to get the other scroll?

Sasuke: We don't need a plan. We just need to find any team and take their scroll.

Sakura: But how do we know which team has the scroll we need? We have the heaven scroll, right? What if we run into a team that has the same scroll?

Sasuke: Just find a new team. It's not that hard.

The three of them left the place and headed towards the tower, hoping to find the other scroll on their way.

After half an hour, they found their first target. Sasuke quickly cast a genjutsu on the three genin and took their earth scroll. He smirked as he examined the scroll, feeling its rough texture. It was a refreshing feeling, unlike his previous life, where he had to struggle for everything. Ever since he got the system, everything has become easy for him.

Sasuke: Hey, both of you, stay here for a while. I need to go do something.

Naruto: Why so sneaky? We can always go with you.

Sasuke: No need. And don't forget, I have both scrolls. So if anyone follows me, I won't hesitate to make sure you fail this exam.

Naruto: Hey, hey, don't be so arrogant, Sasuke. We are a team, remember?

Sasuke ignored him and walked away. He thought to himself, if it wasn't for the mission that the system gave him, he would have gone on a killing spree. He didn't have time to waste with Naruto and Sakura's nonsense. He had lots of things on his mind.
