Chapter 43:Making allies stronger(FIN)

Guy addressed Sasuke, maintaining a firm adherence to his father's principles.

"I understand you want to fight Lee in full strength to test your limit but, I taught Lee eight gates in hopes of him to use it for fighting for something important such as saving his comrades or saving innocent lives, not for casual spar."

Sasuke responded with a hint of ambiguity, perplexing Guy."But it is a beneficial fight for everyone who is training here."

He continued: "Tell me how did Kakashi's training regiment start in the first place?"

"It all started because of our team's performance, which raised the standard of quality a client can expect from shinobi."

"This added credibility to our sensei's teaching, hence when Kakashi sensei established his training regiment, all Genin Corps Captain and Jōnin Captain anonymously sent their Genins to train, believing it best for their growth."

"So what happens if Rock Lee, who learned eight gates from you, fights against me in public?"

"Considering I am rumored to be the strongest Genin in Konoha currently, if Rock Lee fights and competes against me despite what others say and even manages to defeat me or at least barely defeated by me, won't this motivate others to train harder if Rock Lee manages to achieve this feat?" He said ending his side of argument with his unfloding logic.

'That's.....a very good point.' Guy thought, seeing no flaw in this logic.

Despite how much Sasuke trains, it's not uncommon for others to discredit it, stubborn to believe he is strong because of hard work as he is viewed as a genius by others who inherited beneficial from the Uchiha clan, one of the strongest clans Konoha had.

Their sceptism even extend to Kakashi, another genius of Konoha, were significant portion are unconvinced by Kakashi's training regiment,which can be seen suitable for natural genius like them

and they are only taking part because their Genin Corps Captain and Jōnin Captain abandoned them for sake of their conveniences.

But could they say the same to Rock Lee who came from a civilian background, who known inability to use ninjutsu and almost got expelled for failing to use Academy jutsu if Might Guy did not vouched for him?

At the end, all Genins desired to be strong and if you manage to show that thr path that leads to hard work can rival and even surpass geniuses, they would naturally follow the path as along as they have the spirit and the only excuse they have for being weak would be their lack of determination.

Might Guy contemplated for a while, Rock Lee on the other hand anticipating his answer, seeking to see whether he was strong enough to defeat Sasuke with full sstrength.

Unlike in anime, he views Sasuke as his rival, no longer pestering around Neji, which ironically irritated Neji more than usual as even bitter and stoic people like him enjoy feeding their ego.

"Fine I agree,, but Lee, don't use Gate of Joy in this fight, it's still risky for you to use." Guy said, accepting Sasuke's request.

'Didn't think he would learn that far that quickly, then again, he did not sustain any damage this time thanks to the delay of the exam.'

Sasuke was inwardly pleased by his growth, since he viewed Lee as one of the powerhouse shinobi he needed to accelerate growth.

He acknowledge the unfolding events have already deviate from the OG timeline where neither characters he once knew were not going to be static nor the events he would face will set in stone.

So rather than hoping he didn't change the timeline too much just like any transmigrator, he prefers to face it wisely, increasing the strength of his and his allies with knowledge he has.

And Kakashi decision for letting Night Guy teach Eight gates was the best present he got from Kakashi, as an average eight gates users would be stronger than average Jōnin, which is considerable improvement where majority of shinobi is around Chūnin level in terms of strength, increasing allies to go agaisnt threats.

Also, the fight will be the catalyze to persuade Hinata he invited, to let go of her clan's arhaic fightning style which she has no intention improving and teach his style of fightning that goes well with ninjutsu.

If Hinata potenial indeed was higher like he expected, he would reveal how exactly to gather Senjutsu chakra to strengthen her moves as a reward.

Sasuke is also going to teach Naruto the same who by far is the beat user thanks to his ability to abuse shadow clone and his previlege to be Ashura reincarnation, of course he would teach, after death of certain fossils that deserve to be cremated.

As he shed his training weights in preparation, Sasuke waited for Might Guy to talk to Kakashi to officialised and announce the match.

He is planning on using best he got without revealing his EMS, without worrying about Danzo and Hiruzen concern by his performance whom going to be handle well by their favourite Anbu.

And he had indirect backing from Kakashi and Tsunade who are plotting against the highera ups, giving Sasuke freedom to demonstrate his capabilities.
