Chapter 16: Fight against the swordmen of the mist(3)

"Hey what are you thinking?"

"Planning how to fail my genin team with no room for success." Sasuke said, without realising he said it out loud.

"Oh fuck, you are spending too much with sensei ppt!" Naruto remarked while trying not to laugh.

Sakura had a giggle while Sasuke had an embarrased smiley face.

"Anyway, lets start with our training." Sasuke said while trying to change topic.

After packing their bento back to their bags, Naruto, with his clones, was stationed on the left while Sakura stationed on the right to avoid friendly fire that would happened.

"Now, Naruto, you know hand signs right?" Sasuke said, hoping he had some practise or the whole thing would be tedious.

"I know but, I don't have much practise with all of them" Naruto said, finding it tedious where he only practise ones that was needed to graduate such as clone technique, transformation technique and body replacement tecnique.

"Before I teach you any ninjutsu, do you understand importance of hand sign right?"

"Yeah, yeah, Sakura taught me about it, where hand signs is needed to kneed chakra

to get desired ninjutsu to use and you can execute faster by doing it fast, reducing hand sign and said it out loud faster and quieter through experince." Naruto said, almost making Sasuke to hug Sakura for reducing his headaches before recalling the problem Sasuke would face if 'fan girl' Sakura returns.

"Fine, then here is two wind jutsu that was compulsory to learn for my former clan member to learn at age of 7." Sasuke said, which was a half life, since his clan did teach at the age of 7, just OG Sasuke never able to learn it due to massare happened before he was taught and 3rd Hokage only 'gave' C-rank fire jutsu on his place.

"Wind Release: Breakthrough and Wind Release: Gale Palm" Sasuke said while doing demonstration.

First he showed Wind Release: Breathrough where after weaving hand sign, he was gathering chakra in his stomach ans finally expels it as a gust of wind, aiming at the sky where it was powerful enough to lift surrounding leaves to the sky.

Second he showed Wind Release: Gale Palm where by clasping his hands together after weaving hand signs, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale he aimed at the sky, where vibration were felt by the three, courtesy to the jutsu strength.

Seeing this, Naruto with his clones began practising with hand sign first since their were hand sign involved he never practised before.

Next, Sasuke went to Sakura, and already weaving hand signs in front of her.

"Earth Release: Mud wall!"

After hand signs was done, by placing his hands on the ground and poured earth chakra, Sasuke raise the ground as a barrier in front of Sakura.

While it was weak where thickness is too thin to be practical, it was enough considering it took him hours to do to learn it, which fortunately did not cost much chakra like Kakashi suggested.

"Earth Release: Multiple Mud Wall!

Similar to parent jutsu, ground was raised as barrier, the only diiference between the two, is that more earth chakra was poured to reinforce pre-existing wall and made a 4 walls around Sakura.

After demonstation was done, he again performed the hand sign of the jutsu, but in reverse, causing barrier to return back to its previous state, since it was not damage yet.

Sakura understood the jutsu and began to practise, with further distanced from Naruto since vibration can be felt from the ground.

Sasuke decide to return back to Tazuna's house and hoped to learn 'that' jutsu in secret, hoping it would save Haku and even Zabuza to live in this timeline if he applied that jutsu.

However, he bumped with a distraught boy, who looked at him with annoyance.

"Why bother staying here, giving us false hope and making grandpa believed you guys do something against that man?!"

Before Sasuke say something, he ran away, who was followed by a woman.

"Inari come back here!"

'Inari....wait, isn't he that kid that lost his surrogate father?' Sasuke assumed, who despite writing the timeline and people and abilities shown in anime based on what he remembered on paper in english, he was bad at remembering face as well as describing thier appearance.

"I am sorry for my grandson behaviour." Tazuna apologied in his grandson behalf, who heard the commotion from his bed.

Unlike the OG timeline, Tazuna had great faith with Team 7 were he managed to convinced everyone that Gatō rein in terror would be gone in a matter of a week.

However, Inari was even more pessimitic, believing team 7 was deceiving his grandpa and everyone, so he avoid meeting them entirely and had an argument with his mother.

After knowing the gist of it, Sasuke sighed and didn't thought much since outcome will be favourable to them in the end.

After Tazuna left in search of his daughter and grandchild, Sasuke was left alone in the house

'I guess I have to think about the fight that will happend next.'

Sasuke began to recalled Zabuza, especially during War Arc, who had a demonic form.

He was much stronger where despite not having full strength due to power limitation of Edo Tensei and direct control by Kabuto, he was legit threat that it was hard for Kakashi to beat, the same Kakashi who during War Arc was significantly stronger and especially had a lot more chakra where his usage of KamuI was high but period where he could not fight was short.

Sasuke not sure what is requirement for Zabuza to use that form, but after his fight with his Kakashi that did not give him any injuries, it can be assumed he will use it to finish off Kakashi, where the later was also much stronger than Sasuke expected to be and Sasuke had no idea why it was the case.

Next is Haku, who was also stronger in War Arc.

His case was different, where Sasuke has no idea of the depth of Haku strength other than compliment Zabuza gave to him.

But he was sure, Haku would not be easy foe, since he try to paralyse them to death like state while battling, because Haku presumed them to be weaker than him.

That was the context of the fight, before Naruto tapped into Nine tail chakra to overwhelm him.

What if context have been changed thanks to Kakashi one-sided fight with Zaubza?

'Zabuza may assumed us to be stronger, since we are Kakashi genin team and Tazuna did say to everyone that we were the strongest genin team 3rd Hokage personally send with Kakashi.'

So who says Haku won't be serious to kill us this time after hearing words in the street and from Zabuza?

Even if he dislike killing, if situation demands, he would kill us.

Then again, who says scenario won't change at this point?

His whole plan of 'saving Haku and Zabuza' would be mostly like be burned in ashes by nkw.

So at the end, Sasuke could do nothing except keep his and teammate guard up and adapt to his situation.
