Joe's Tale 1

"Hey! Joe! Are we still up for today?" Paul said wrapping his arm around Joe's shoulders playfully.

Sneaking out of his arm, Joe straightened his backpack and continued walking ignoring his annoying friend.

"Oh come on Joe, it's gonna be fun!" He whined following after him.

"I don't remember agreeing to go with you anywhere..." Joe said

"You never agree to go anywhere with me! And the girls keep asking about you, they don't even give me the time of the day when you're not around..."

Joe sighed, Paul's quest to get popular on Joe's expenses was a never-ending source of annoyance. He's a truly good guy but sometimes it felt like he was taking his quest for a girlfriend too far. Joe had no intention of ever indulging him on that, doing so would be like opening up a can of worms with his own hands. And too much was at stake for him when it came to that...
