Challenging Royalty: Celera's Encounter with the Prince { chapter 6}

"Pathetic," Prince Vegeta spat, the word dripping with disdain. "You waste your time on these weaklings, Celera. They're not worth your attention or your pity."

"I wouldn't say that prince," I couldn't help but smile, He did have this mindset for a long bit, even after meeting Kakarot. Still, I turned to face him properly. Ha, he was shorter than me hehehehe. He seemed just as angry as I expected him to always be, a grumpy man or in this case kid.

I could see some adults make their way over to Radtizs and Turls. They were taking them away, it seemed they had passed out. "Even those Saiyan you consider weak if given the chance could surprise you."

The stench of sweat and blood hung heavy in the air, from the beating those two had gotten. Vegeta's disapproval still lingered as he stepped forward, his cold eyes locked on mine.

"You've got it all wrong, Celera," he sneered. "Showing kindness to weaklings like them only holds us back."

"Prince Vegeta," I replied," If you keep having that mindset you're going to get left behind when it comes to strength"

"what are you saying, that those low-class warriors will surpass me?" He spat, his lip curling with contempt. "They couldn't even stand up to you. How will any of them surpass me if they can't even beat you? Your misplaced compassion is a weakness, Celera."

I clenched my fists, I should keep goating him to get a rise out of him. Come on Vegeta don't let this go unchallenged.

"If you think it's a weakness, then prove it," I challenged him, a grin on my face as I tossed my scouter to the side, it didn't matter how strong he was I didn't need to know yet. "Show me the strength you're so proud of."

"Very well." A dark smile spread across his face as he settled into a fighting stance, his purple aura crackling around him like a storm. "I'll show you that none of you have a chance of ever surpassing me, not now not ever!"

"Bring it on!" I shouted in delight my own pink energy rising but was still smaller than his. This was it. A battle against the Prince of all Saiyans. I could feel my blood pumping and raging, Im so glad I'm a Saiyan!

Vegeta's dark smile was still etched on his face as he lunged forward, his fist aimed directly at my head. I barely managed to dodge the blow, feeling the heat of his knuckles graze past my cheek. My grin was still present, as I forced myself not to laugh in joy, giving myself to the adrenaline coursing through my veins as everyone else that was watching us vanished in my mind, it was just me and the prince.

"Is that all you've got?" I taunted him. Even though I should be feeling tired I wasn't. My strikes missed their mark as he dodged.

"Hardly," Vegeta snarled, launching another vicious kick. Which I blocked with my arm and countered with a swift kick, narrowly evading a punch that followed. Our fists met in a clash of energy, sending shockwaves reverberating throughout the battlefield.

"Come on, Celera!" Gine yelled from the sidelines, her voice carrying over the din of our battle. But I couldn't hear it, I had given myself to this fight and nothing else mattered.

"Keep your guard up! Don't give him any openings!" Gine's voice echoed in the arena, while everyone else seemed to be ignoring her. Their eyes watched the fight closely.

"Did you really think you could stand against me?" Vegeta sneered, his arrogance plain as day. "You're stronger than those weaklings but compared to me, you're just like those two fools you tried to protect weak."

"Maybe so," I admitted, using my speed to dodge around him, forcing him to change directions. "But you're not going to win this fight easily."

"Ha!" Vegeta scoffed, his eyes flashing with annoyance. "You'll be eating those words soon enough."

As one of the spectators tapped their scouter they were surprised to see my power level rising by one point continuously It was getting close to reaching 2,000 while Prince Vegeta was at 3,100.

Something was wrong I could feel it, Vegeta was getting faster, and more of his hits landed, I couldn't even block them. My body was hurting all over but I couldn't let this fun end not now when I didn't even know if I could fight someone like this again for a long while.

"Come on Vegeta, your hurting my feelings by holding back," I stated, panting, as we momentarily disengaged to catch our breaths. "You really thought I wouldn't be able to tell?"

"Even if I fight with half of my strength it's enough to beat you," he spat, his disdain evident. "Now face my full strength! Look at something you will never overcome!" As he lifted his thumb towards his face in a pointing manner.

"I didn't even need a scouter to tell he was stronger but so what, that's what made it fun" I smiled challenging his own grin, feeling a surge of defiance.

"Bring it on!" I shouted as I rushed forward.

"It's time to end this!" Vegeta roared, his anger boiling over. He charged at me once more, his movements faster than ever before.

As I throw my punch he seemed to disappear and I suddenly felt something from above. Turning my head to see his foot but a few inches from my face. His foot slammed into my face, sending me crashing into the ground.

Summoning every ounce of my remaining strength to stand my ground. My body was bloodied and bruised all over. My blooded teeth showed as I smiled. He was really pushing me right now. But I was far from done. Dashing towards him shooting ki blast to distract him.

The fight intensified as Vegeta's eyes sparkled but I wasn't sure but I didn't know why. His movements were swift and precise, every strike like one of those bats and pipes that had hit me when I died. The air around us crackled with energy as we exchanged blow after blow.

If not for the power of the Smart Atoms', id have lost already. Their ability to remember what they were supposed to be, meant that even though I could feel my muscles being torn apart they were putting themself back together.

"Interesting," Vegeta smirked, his voice laced with satisfaction. "I never expected to last this long and still be able to fight."

"I'm just built differently" I retorted, as I felt pain from his fist hitting my stomach. My limbs ached, and I could feel my energy dropping, were the smart atoms using it to heal my body? I couldn't afford to let this go on much longer, I had to win.

"I must admit," he continued, dodging my punch before retaliating with a swift kick to my abdomen. "Your determination is... admirable. fitting for an elite, but it's not enough."

"Is that so?" I grinned, despite the throbbing in my side. There was something exhilarating about facing off against Vegeta, and strangely enough, I could see a genuine smile on his lips.

"Face it, Celera," Vegeta taunted. "You'll never be strong enough to defeat me."

"Maybe not now," I conceded, managing to deflect one of his punches before landing a solid hit on his shoulder. "But I can still give you a run for your money."

[power level 2,300]

"Ha!" he chuckled, wiping a trickle of blood from the corner of his mouth. "Very well. Show me more of what you're truly capable of."

As the battle raged on, I could feel my body reaching its limit. Every ounce of my being cried out in protest, yet I stubbornly clung to my resolve of not wanting it to end.

My heart pounding in my ears. I refused to yield, even as my vision blurred and my limbs trembled beneath me. There was too much at stake to simply admit defeat.

"Then you leave me no choice," Vegeta declared, his eyes narrowing with determination. "Prepare yourself, for this will be your end."

As he flow about and pulled his hand together to the side of him, a purple energy ball began to form.

"Any last words?" he sneered as the ball grow bigger.

"hahahahaha" I laughed as blood dripped from my mouth. "Only one," I whispered, my voice barely audible over the pounding of my heart. "Thank you, Vegeta for a great fight." My body couldn't move as my blurry vision became worse, I had reached my limit.

"GALICK GUN!" he shouted as the purple bean came down at me, slamming my body into the ground and shredding part of my armor. crashing me into the ground with a sickening crunch. Once the beam vanished my body was visible.

As I lay there, bloody and beaten in a small crater, I could feel the last of my strength ebbing away. And yet, through the haze of pain, a weak smile still graced my lips. I had accepted the challenge and stood toe-to-toe with one of the most powerful Saiyans alive. At that moment, I felt truly alive.

I could see the satisfaction in Vegeta's eyes as he flow down to towered over me. The onlookers around us had grown silent, holding their breath in anticipation of what would happen next. I knew this was it, damn it I didn't want to die so soon, I wanted to have more fun. Yet, despite my weakened state, a sense of accomplishment filled my chest.

"Enough!" The commanding voice of a Saiyan in the upper stands shouted. Pulling her cloak down to show her face. Many voices calling out "Queen Brassica".

Pov Gine

I turned my head to look at the voice that shouted at Prince Vegeta to stop. I gasped it was Queen Brassica, Her ebony hair cascaded like a waterfall down her shoulders. A golden diadem adorned her brow, an emblem of her royal lineage as the queen. Her attire was a reflection of her commanding persona. She wore a resplendent robe woven with threads of gold and crimson similar to King Vegeta.

She was much taller than me, her height around 5'8 Her well-toned physique bore the marks of a life led in the midst of battle.

End pov

Her voice echoed through the air, stopping Vegeta's fist from delivering another blow. His head snapped towards her, surprised. As for me, I felt relief wash over my battered body. Brassica's gaze never left mine, her eyes intense and scrutinizing.

"Take her to the medical pod," she ordered, her tone firm and unwavering. "And let it be known that her team shall be allowed to carry out missions from now on."

A murmur of shock rippled through the crowd. I could hardly believe it myself. Still, it was hard to ignore the burning pain coursing through my veins, my body begging for rest.

"Mother," Prince Vegeta said as he bowed her head towards her, some bruises on his body.

"Come on, Celera," Gine's familiar voice said as she carefully lifted me from the dirt. "Let's get you patched up."

"Can't believe you held your own against Vegeta," Gine whispered in awe, her hands brushing aside my blood-soaked hair. "Looks like even the queen was impressed," she said to me as I began to pass out. As she carried me off toward the medical pod.

"Remember this, Vegeta," I thought as my consciousness faded. "This isn't the end. ill have my rematch." And with that, I let the darkness claim me.
