"You are so beautiful! Please be my goddess!" The person begged as he hit the floor with his head.
Saintess looked at the person with a strange expression before chuckling. "Sure."
Since her old world, she had always been treated as a goddess by many people, allowing her to easily adapt and answer the 'prayer.'
"Umu!" The person kneeled as he hit the ground with his head. "Arigato, goddess!"
Saintess looked at the person strangely, wondering what kind of weirdo she found.
'Or what kind of weirdo found me.' She chuckled, laughing at the person's ridiculous but funny actions.
Then, the person hugged himself as he chuckled. "Thank you, goddess."
Saintess' eyes flickered, but she allowed the person to act like he wanted. Instead, she opted to look around, intending to find more interesting events.
Interesting events she found as the moment Peach ascended, he decided to ask a powerful person for an opinion of his cultivation.
"I'll help you, and you help me," Peach smirked as he had already imagined the benefit that he would reap.
The person laughed. "Sure. My name is PsionicMind."
"Pa... What?" Peach looked at the person before shaking his head. "Whatever, thanks for the tips."
Then, the person sent his divine sense to Peach, inspecting Peach's cultivation.
Meanwhile, Peach decided to seriously spend time and find any and all faults he could in the person's divinity.
Finally, after some time, the person laughed. "You cultivate a dwarf technique, right?"
Peach's expression twisted. "Are you stupid? And I spent so much time to find every nook and cranny in your technique, but you say that I cultivate a dwarf technique?"
The person got irritated as he grumbled. "Thiefling. Whatever. Go study yourself. I don't even care about you anymore."
Peach's expression twisted even more as he turned around before ignoring the person.
The saintess laughed as she enjoyed the drama. Then, humming a soft tune, she decided to explore more and find even more interesting people.
And interesting people did she find. Goddess Mia was one of the five gods under the eighteen heavens.
After greeting her God Mother, Saintess chuckled with her, exchanging pleasantries.
While they were talking, a person appeared. She had dark hair and brown eyes. With curly hair and an easily irritated face, she approached the two girls with a smile.
"Hello, I am Yui." She introduced herself. As if summoned by magic, PsionicMind appeared as well, greeting everyone.
"Hello, I am Psionic. Anyway, Yui, cigs again." He sighed, prompting Yui to sigh as well.
Saintess looked at them with a curious expression while introducing herself.
"PanaSonic is a good person." Yui introduced Psionic with a chuckle.
"I see." Saintess nodded, seeing that Psionic truly had his own merits. After learning about them, Saintess started scanning the town, looking for even more interesting people, but no such people appeared.
Then, she sat down as a light breeze appeared. "Hello, I am Light Breeze."
Saintess remembered Greeny and her connection with the wind. With a forced smile, she laughed. "I am Quarz."
Breeze looked at Saintess with a weird expression. "You were all happy earlier, so why are you sad now?"
Saintess closed her eyes as she remembered the world she left behind. Maybe she was forced there, maybe there was a lot of fun here, maybe she would have loved to have been born in the ascended world, but it was all just a maybe.
She had people she had left behind there, and she didn't want to miss them. She had friends, Greeny, Reddy, and even her sisters and cousins. With a sigh, she answered Breeze's question.
"This is so fun, but I want to return. There are people I care about there."
Breeze looked at Quarz with a sad expression before disappearing as if she was never there.
Just as saintess felt even more lonely, she felt a void stir and talk to herself. Yes, Void was a concept and a person she spent a lot of time talking to while being a newbie.
"I'll ask the father."
The moment those words echoed, the saintess lifted her head, looking at the bright sky. There, she could see many more members she had learned over the weeks she was there.
Lucifer was the petty and funny 'antagonist' of the place.
Peter, the guy who created chaos unpaid.
Julie, Haethan, Fred, Karu, and many more.
Many of them made friends and laughed with her, making jokes and potential family. However, she had to leave them.
And together with that thought, a voice appeared in her mind. "So you did regret it, child?"
The saintess chuckled. "I never thought that I wouldn't regret it. But what's life without fun and regrets."
The ancient voice sighed as a whirlwind appeared. Saintess could feel herself rising to the sky, leaving the realm.
"Goodbye, everyone." She whispered before looking resolutely into the distance with a chuckle. "And I am coming back."
[ The end. ]
"Huh? What kind of stupid ending is this?" A girl tossed her phone to the side, pouting.
"Firstly, the story said that the girl's name was Clara, but we NEVER got the name." She started complaining to herself, pissed about the story she spent her valuable savings on.
"Then, no plot. Just walking around and seeing new people. I can write better." She shook her head. "The closest thing to the plot is the start. Also, why the hell does it have no ending?"
She complained before picking up her iPhone, dropping the worst review she could.
Then, she dressed herself in the school uniform.
"Today is the first day of my college. Hope it's not as bad as it was in high school." With a smile, she left the house, approaching the bus.
Inside the bus, she could see new friends, new people, and new opportunities.
'Tsk. Reminds me of that stupid story.' She shook her head as she looked to the side, seeing a young man smirking. "Let's go."
