The night was supposed to end like any other night out, passed out in his own bed and waking up ready for work. However, during this night, he begins to experience traumatic dreams of violence that uncomfortably feel more like memories, another life that he is unaware of. To make matters worse, a strange phenomena begin to take over his quiet seaside town of Saint Christopher's Ridge. At the tone of a siren, people begin to disappear into the night, only to return in forms that don't resemble themselves nor appear to be human.

1975, The Second Flowers of Flesh: Part 1

Fausto looks at Dr. Gordon lost, "What do you mean the thing disappeared? What happened to that hole? Did you guys bother to look down there?", asks Fausto. "Of course we looked down there. We sent cameras, recording equipment, men, but everytime we pull it or them back up: nothing. This bottomless pit just kept going and going." Taking a breath to recollet his thoughts, Dr. Gordon says, "When the United States lost the war to Vietnam in 73', we remained there up until the fall of Saigon, but once that happened, we had no choice but to evacuate. Before we left, we let insurgents in the country know about the bottomless pit and the slaughter of the village because of Billy boy."

Dr. Gordon gets up and walks to a closet where he puts a small projector on his desk and along with it, a cardbox containing film reels. Fausto ask, "You're barely showing me videos of it now?" Dr. Gordon chuckles while also getting two old crude speakers and says, "No this is film of the second one."
