Draconic Refining Orb

Raven Sanctuary's Guild Residence.

Leroy returned to the spot he teleported from. Many guild members greeted him.

"BadHalo, any new since I wasn't here?" Leroy fist messaged BadHalo.

"The Light Stone designs was discovered to drop from common monsters of Level 40 and above. The lifestyle guild has recruited a few more members, including Overwhelming Smile's Silent Aspiration who made the Fire Dragon Potion. We have hunted 10 Great Lord monsters by now.

Old Pat has news about a treasure chest." BadHalo finished reporting.

"Alright, I'll contact him now" Leroy replied and inmediatly sent a message to Old Pat.

"Uncle Pat, I've heard you have a treasure chest?" He said with a smile.

"Heh, you better get something good out of it, it costed seven thousand gold coins" Old Pat said as if he was the one paying for it.

At Raven Goods Shop, Leroy stood in front of the chest, it was an Epic Rank Treasure Chest that a powerful Aventurer Team from an Empire obtained.

"At least, it'll give an Epic Rank Item" Leroy used his luck skills and an aura of fortune sorrounded him. An epic ranked item would sell by about 2,000 Gold Coins at their lowest price, if they couldn't obtain a good item, they would take a big loss this time.

Leroy put different materials into an array and started opening the chest. The higher the rank, the harder it was to open a treasure chest. Dark Gold Treasure Chests required at least a key.

He opened the chest and strong light came from within. Inside the chest were only two items, a skillbook and a blue crystal ball with golden runes on it.

"See that brat, I told you that we would suffer a loss!" Old Pat didn't bother cheking the items before reprimanding him.

Leroy didn't pay him any mind and took the items from inside the chest.

The skillbook was called Niflheim's Four Winds. It was a combination skill, Leroy read through the skill's description an paled, how could such an horrofying skill exist! It was even more powerful than his Dark Spear at full power.

The description said that this skill could be learned by four people. And all four needed to use the skill to activate it, the skill power would depend on the users.

Combination skills used by people would display an extremely high amount of power, it was possible to give injure a Mythic Tier monsters with the Four Winds of Niflheim used by Tier 1 players.

The skill required two magic classes and two physical classes to use.

Leroy that maybe he could use it with his own Personal Guards.

He inmediatly summoned Ifer, Garo and Elna with a personal guard's summoning skill.

He then tried to learn the skill. "Accept it" He said to the guards. The three nodded and suddenly a connection formed between them.

The new skill appeared on Leroy's character panel. This would definetly be a powerful skill, altough the cooldown as a very long.

Next, there was the crystal ball on the treasure chest.

[Draconic Refining Orb]

An ancient relique used once by someone who trascended the Grandmaster Alchemist rank.

Elemental Refinement: Can extract the elements out of ores with a high chance.

Alchemy Synthesis: Combine elements into higher quality ones.

Draconic Providence: Has a chance of crafting items one rank higher.

(up to fragmented legendary).

Alchemy Sage Field: All alchemic procceses within ten meters from the user has a chance to duplicate the output.

All crafting success rates increased by 30%

Binds when acquired.

Reading the item, Leroy inmediatly picked it up for himself. This was probably better than a Legendary Rank item!. How was this a loss?. Leroy looked over at Old Pat with disdain.

"What, don't tell me that item was of any worth" Old Pat sneered.

"Hehe, of course, it is an alchemy tool" Leroy replied but didn't say much.

He continued "Uncle Pat, I'll need high quantity of monster bones" just as he said that, he left to the second floor of the shop.

In his alchemy room, he took ten Falling Moon Fruits into a cauldron, and inmediatly used the Draconic Refining Orb on them. A blinding light came out of it, and what remained was a single fruit, similar to the previous but this one released a much stronger herbal essence.

All herbs and fruits had some herbal essence, the higher the herbal essence, the more precious the item was for alchemy.

Meanwhile the herbal essence of the synthetised Falling Moon Fruit was stronger than even fifty of them put together.

Next he repeated the process with many of the herbs and special fruits he had. Sometimes he could receive two fruits or herbs instead of one.

Seeing the items in front of him, Leroy smiled. 'This feels more like spiritual herbs of the lowest rank' He couldn't help but remenber that place.

He then used all his luck attributes and started the process to craft the Sensations Casting Potion. With an improved technique and the use of the refining orb, it didn't take long until the process was completed.

Succesfully crafted: Sensations Casting Potion.

Draconic Providence effect activated

After he finished the crafting process, his blood boiled with excitement.

The new potion increased the user casting speed by 35%, int by 20% and dark damage by 35%. It was much stronger than the previous one.

'This is the effect of a relatively common potion after using better ingredients and triggering Draconic Providence' Leroy saw the potion with satisfaction. If he were to create higher quality potions with better ingredients...

Next, he sent a message for someone to deliver him certain materials and herbs.

He once again repeated the process with new herbs and they gleamed with life and herbal essence. But something happened that made Leroy curious, a type of herb called Monkey Leaf Herb changed into a new herb, Monkey King Leaf Herb. The alchemy book said that Monkey King Leaf Herb could grow from the Monkey Leaf one, but only one every one million herbs managed to reach that level.

Next he took some fire crystals and used the orb skill on them. The fire crystals melted into a single one, this one was much more pure and released a stronger heat than the previous one. He washed them with his Starfire Flame for an entire hour.

Then tried to craft the potion he originally intended, but now added the Monkey King Leaf instead.

Succesfully crafted: Starfire Potion.

Draconic Providence effect activated

Seeing the Draconic Providence effect activated again, his eyes glowed with anticipation.

Starfire Potion

Permanently increase a player attributes by 7%

Permanently increas a player fire resistance by 50 points.

Effective only once.

This was a unique recipe, only someone with the Starfire Flame could create this potion.

This new Starfire Potion was much more powerful than the previous one. Were he to made it public, there wouldn't be a lack of people looking to kill him.

He produced a total of seven potions. Next he asked for more items from the shop.

He took out Gold Ores and used Elemental Refinement on them. The ores turned to dust but pitch black fragments remained.

'Dark Gold, this item can actually be used like these' Leroy couldn't believe what he saw, this refining orb was no different from a player owned money printing machine!.

He then continued until he got 10 pieces of dark gold. He put them togheter and used alchemy synthesis on them.

The dark gold started releasing a purple light and after the process was done, only two pieces remained.

'Violet Cloud Gold, an epic rank crafting material' Leroy couldn't suppress the joy and inmediatly started repeating the process over and over again with almost any material he could find. Epic rank crafting materials could sell for hundreds of gold coins, actually, no player would buy the item. Only npcs at Blackwing City would be willing to buy them.

Different types of ore came out of the Dark Gold ores. Violet Cloud Gold were the mayority of them, tough. 'Maybe because it come from the same location' Leroy guessed.

Next was the final step. He put twenty pieces of Violet Cloud Gold together and once again used the orb. It took five minutes before the ore took shape, Leroy tought that the process would fail at first.

What remained was a reddish purple ore "It really produced a Legendary Crafting Material" Leroy hands trembled, the price of such an item was hard to calculate, even on Blackwing City Auctions, such an items haven't appeared.

Taking the material, he tought, 'I should become a forger' Leroy had a resolute expression. If he didn't became a Forger with this godly tool, ten thousands deaths wouldn't wash his sins.

Just as he was thinking, someone came inside the room.

"You lad, first you make me buy that chest and now you take so many forging materials" Old Pat complained as he entered. But his eyes widened after seeing the items on the table. Violet Cloud Gold, Red Veined Silver, Monkey King Leaf Herbs...

"Did you assaulted the imperial palace or something? Where did all these materials came from?" Old Pat interrogated him. These materials were not something that players could get with their current strength, only high ranked npcs would have them.

"Didn't I say that I wouldn't take a loss?" Leroy said while playing around with the orb.

The old man felt as if a heavenly lightning stroke him, his face had disbelief, greed and anger.

"Y-you... why did you take it you brat," Old Pat calm expression became unnatural.

'He would always be like these when we find a protifable item' Leroy sighed, the composed and calm Old Pat would lose his cool like this inside a game was something that others wouldn't expect.

"So how did you produce them?" Old Pat calmed slightly and asked.

" I need a good amount of materials and basically combine them into a higher ranked ones, it is quite effective but has a somewhat long cooldown and isn't too effective" Leroy wouldn't be as foolish as to reveal all his trump cards.

"S-s..." Old Pat stuttered, this item was more valuable than he had imagined!

"You keep up the good work, I'll go fetch some materials. You asked for bones right?" Old Pat attitude took a 180º degree change. Since the item was now bound there was no use at being angry.

Leroy sighed and continued to produce items. It would be more profitable for him to just produce Epic Rank materials by now.

Three days passed and Leroy barely left the room to take some fresh air. He had changed to a Forging Room and started crafting armors, weapons, light stones and other items. Old Pat didn't forget to exploit him into extracting ores from common stones or just creating higher quality ones.

After three days, he became an Advanced Forger already. This was the power of the Draconic Refining Orb, he hadn't failed a single craft yet. Some times the Draconic Providence would create a higher tier equipment, giving him much more forging proficiency.

'Forging has never been one of my fortes, to become a Master Forger I need to craft three new forging designs' Leroy spoke to himself while looking at his proficiency bar. 'The designs at my disposal are not that great either'. The Draconic Providence even helped him to create an Epic Rank chest plate, but different from other epic equipment, its level was limited to Level 25 and would never grow. After all it was just a version of other item with higher stats.

During these time, he had made more than 2,000 epic rank crafting materials and five legendary crafting materials. He extracted even more Gold and Dark Gold rank materials from stones and ores, they were the most sold items on the market. Even if he had epic materials, no player would buy them, first it was expensive and second no forger could craft an epic item yet.

He gave all the items he crafted and some epic materials to Old Pat to sell at Blackwing City's Auction. The npcs would definetly buy them at a good price. As for the Legendary Rank Crafting Materials... he gave them to two Forging Masters npcs.

These Forging Masters agreed to work on the shop for a period of time. With them, the quality of items sold by Raven Goods increased exponentially, most of them were sold at Blackwing City, where the richest players and guilds were.

The quality of their new items caused more and more players to come to the shops. Currently, they had three lands on the center of Star-Moon City, and five other in different cities for a total of eigth shops. The rest of their Gold Coins would be invested in buying information and developing the guild branches in the neighbouring kingdoms.

Some guilds had already been anexed and started buying land on these kingdoms, spreading the name of Raven Goods further. The only place they hadn't developed at yet were the nearby empires.
