Night of Doom Begins

"Wait!" Daniel said wanting to talk to her.

"Follow me if you want to talk to me," she said while she continued to walk. Daniel followed her like a child who was going behind a butterfly.

She finally stopped taking a seat in the open theatre.

"What is it that you wanted to talk to me about?" She asked finally throwing away the tissue that she was wiping her hand with.

Daniel couldn't find the answers to her question in his mind, her strong presence and the dark aura she was giving out had already gotten him attracted to her. He kept observing every little feature of her and continued to admire her in his mind.

"Hello? What are you doing, huh? I thought you wanted to talk but why are you all silent now?"

"You are not human arent you?" He finally asked even if he was going to be framed as a lunatic.

"Hmm... I am not sure," she said smiling.

"What does that even supposed to mean, tell me who you are?" He kept looking at her waiting for an answer.

"There is no way that a human being can be beautiful as you do. Who sent you here!? Where are you from?" He kept questioning her hoping to get an answer out of her mouth. He wanted to hear that one word saying that she is not a human being.

"Stop staring at me," she said getting up.

"I don't want to answer your ridiculous questions, but I can tell you one thing, you will find answers to all of your problems soon enough, if you try to defy the world of living one more time, for sure they won't forgive you and the consequences of doing so.... well I don't remember the rest of it."

She was about to turn away, but Daniel'shand was fast enough to catch hers.

"Woman don't you dare try to lie to me again! you definitely know what I have been trying to do."

Realising that he was holding onto his hand hurting her unknowingly, he quickly let go of her hand hoping to get an answer.

But instead, she walked away without an answer to the question that he asked, He stayed still without following her thinking that if he harm her what he wants wouldn't come to him.

We will meet once again for sure, he thought in his heart.

"Pretty soon we will meet for sure," he said out loud to the girl who was slowly leaving his sight.

He quietly left in the opposite direction to get to his class right away.

After the visit to the beauty. Nothing went wrong for the next 3 months. During the time that passed, he just kept wishing for immortality over and over again.

The girl he met 3 months ago didn't appear in front of him, which made frustration grow in him.

"If the demon itself sent her to me, then why didn't she come to me again?

What was the reason behind her appearance?

What did she want to warn me about so bad?

What if I am to end my life?

What if I am to defy the world of the living? thoughts kept crossing his mind."

He went back home with millions of questions in his mind, as usual. Those questions to which that no one had answers to, he knew that he couldn't continue to live his life with such questions troubling him.

The suffocation of going through a stream of questions to which no one had the answers to,

The thought of ending his life finally came into his mind.

He went home and waited for the night to come. As usual, the bottle of wine was his companion.

Daniel who was waiting for this night all along had something special ready for that occasion with him. It was a historical artefact that he managed to obtain after going through so much trouble.

The moment he got to know that the dagger was rumoured to be from the hell, he knew that it was his dream weapon that will one day send him to his dream place.

He took out the dagger and started to sharpen it after putting a few droplets of water on it, the way the dagger looked and everything that was carved on it fascinated him.

After sharpening it enough, he placed it on his palm and slide it down as if he was someone who couldn't feel any pain, but just like anyone he was also someone who could feel, but his psychotic self had made him forget the fact that he was just another human.

He placed the dagger beside him and covered himself with the blanket hoping for that night to be the night of his life.

The night of doom came to him. Though he was awake for it, he just wanted to wait for a little more until he could put his heart together.

For some reason, it felt as if he shouldn't end his life easily like that.

He kept waiting for a time that he can call the right moment.

He looked outside the room, where he saw the moon shining brightly in the sky lighting up the neighbourhood with its light.

He picked up the dagger and opened the window to the outside balcony.

He went outside as he held the dagger right on his neck, the sharpness of its blade was already making him bleed just with its touch.

His thoughts ran wild thinking about what could happen when he died, will he become a dead man or will he get his chance to become strong and immortal?

"My queen, I have been praying for your presence for a long time now, but up until now, you haven't shown yourself in front of me. Now I am standing facing the light that you are bestowing upon mankind.

Why can't you give me what I am wishing for, 3 months ago I thought I was finally going to find answers to my prayers but unfortunately, you sent me just another piece to my incomplete puzzle.

I now know that you ain't going to let me have what I want, you will never understand what I have been going through.

Being a lowly human being I to wanted to reign over the others who always harmed me."

As he spoke the blood kept dropping down.

The moment he closed his eyes to slide the blade down his neck, he heard something hitting the floor.
