The Fourteen Great Beauties

SACRED REVOLUTION

Chapter 22- The Fourteen Great Beauties

Author: Ede David

The young man sat down there; his expression frozen with the ice of both confusion and realization.

He sat down there, deep in thought, 'Something that I hold dear?... Search for what is truly dear to me.'

His countenance kept on changing, and like a cocoon hatching into a beautiful, dazzling butterfly; he was currently undergoing a transformation.

It wasn't just the beautiful link and poetry of the words, but the very sacred meaning behind it, it shrouded his entire being and to his senses, it looked as if he had entered another world; a world of endless possibilities, a world that was not so ugly like this one, a world full of curiosity-provoking wonders and edges.

He sat down there, immersed deep into his new-found insight.

'Would sister want me to kill myself?'

'Something dear to me? What is that thing?'

'But I can't live like this.'

'I have to search for something dear to me.'

"How much Oral Gold is this?" Midoriya stood before a young boy and asked, pointing to a comb neatly placed on the table.

His voice was instantly drowned by the bustling liveliness and vitality that was abundantly present in this wide road; full of busy merchants and traders- creating a very noisy and crowded place.

"Hey, watch where you're going, punk!"

"Want a fight?!"

"Sorry, I didn't hear you…" the small boy selling, asked again, pitching his voice higher.

"I said, how much is that comb?" Midoriya asked again.

"Guy, you're wasting our time." Zernon at his side impatiently said.

"Everyone come, I'm selling big, hairy balls, come check it out!"

"This guy is sick!"

"I lost my comb when I was travelling, ah!" Midoriya barked back out of annoyance.

He really hated big, bustling markets like this, they were just too noisy and crowded, so many people touching him made him very uncomfortable and paranoid, plus navigating through the crowd was just

so frustrating.

"Do fast." Zernon urged again.

A man mistakenly marched his leg, causing him to turn and look at him.

The man looked thuggish and seeing his smile, he actually didn't apologize and even glared at Zernon.

"…Are you not going to apologize?" Zernon's hands, avoiding anybody's notice, slid unto the hilt of his sword.

"Yeah whatever." The thuggish man turned and walked away; disdaining the three gold stars on his badge.

Zernon looked at him, even when he had walked several feet away, and his hand silently dropped down.

Although he still had that smile on his face, the corners of his eyes were slightly red with bloodlust and wicked intentions, but he had difficultly restrained himself.

It will be too petty to start a fight because of this.

Furthermore, he didn't want to showcase himself and reveal his 'rank.'

And the thug strode along very stylishly as if he had just won a big battle... but he didn't know that God had just saved him from being cut into minced meat.

"Sir, please can I have your time?" a short, wavy-haired man walked up to him and asked silently.

Midoriya had just paid the Oral Gold, and was collecting the comb when he turned to look at the newcomer.

"Yes, may I help you?" Zernon smiled at him.

"Em, my Young Raven would like to see you," the short, wavy-haired man replied.

Young Hero and Fate Raven were the titles used to address the sons or daughters (respectively) of clan leaders, not just the son or daughter, but the future heir and inheritor of the clan.

Zernon instantly took offense; this so called Raven didn't even reveal her face, assuming a superior stance over him, as if he was some kind of servant that could just be ordered as she wished.

"It will be great if I can see the person that wishes to see me," Zernon replied.

Sensing something from Zernon's forceful words, Midoriya cut in and asked, "Who is your Raven?"

"Here," The short, wavy-haired man pulled out a small, golden emblem and showed it to them with barely concealed smugness.

"It's a purple flower," Midoriya's brows shot up instantly in surprise and seriousness.

"What does that mean?" Zernon asked causing both Midoriya and the short man to look at him with surprise and incredulity.

"You actually don't know what the purple flower symbolizes?" Midoriya was tongue-tied.

"If I knew, would I be asking?" Although Zernon was still smiling, his eyes carried faint irritation.

"The Purple Flowers is a term that was founded and created of recent, it is used to highlight the Fourteen Great Beauties, they are called this or the Fourteen Purple Roses." The short man seemed very

eager to boast about his Fate Raven, that he instantly exploded out into explanation.

"Fourteen Great Beauties?" Zernon was confused.

"They are the most beautiful young ladies in Hunter Village," the short man said with pride, "and my Raven is one of them, ranked no.9."

"Such nonsense." Zernon frowned.

"What?" the man gazed at him suspiciously.

"Nothing, nothing."

"Oh, let's go and meet her then, I'm very curious." Zernon concluded hastily.

Midoriya was surprised at his swift change and thought that it was just his manly traits kicking in, as he had heard 'the most beautiful young ladies in Hunter Village'.

"Chacha, why do you send for those filthy looking men?"

One of the fourteen great beauties silently asked another.

She was ranked No.10 and she was asking the 9th ranker in the fine, luxurious, pink-themed room.

"Eh, why? Don't tell me, you have fallen in love?" the second young lady among the four gathered, cut in, grinning playfully. She was ranked at No.11.The third one that was ranked No.12 said, "It will be best we are not seen hanging out with lowlifes, or

we will bring shame to the Purple Roses."

The 9th ranker by name Chacha, grinned mysteriously and replied, "I have a reason for calling them,"

Taking a look at these four and instantly almost any man will be appalled and dazed with wonder and shock… that was because, these four young ladies were like rainbows; beautiful and dazzling, fusing in

gracefully into any environment, their faces were like finely sculpted ruby; glowing and attractive.

Everything on their face down to their curvaceous and smoking hot body was in the right proportions, and alongside, they were cloaked in an invincible aura of majesty and superiority.

You could tell that even though Zernon and Midoriya were very handsome young men, it didn't seem to appeal to them; instead, they even despised them.

"Do you know that in this area, there was a faker that disguised himself, going around, catching people unaware? Even Wrenlow Gard, an Elite Hunter died suddenly; chopped into mincemeat." Chacha

responded with a smile, "After series of investigations, I found out that the witnesses in other cases, say that he has this kind of build and this kind of smile, that radiates underneath a mask; some has seen a smiling man even without a mask, only a sticker to cover his badge. And seeing him, I just decided to test my luck."

"Wow, sister is very smart, if you kill a faker, then your status in the clan will become even more prominent." The 11th was struck with realization.

"Good."

"You might even enter the eyes of the Hunter Council."

Zernon and Midoriya entered inside the room, the former had his eyes darting around, some of these beauties should have decent jewelries and they all came from top clans, so if he 'borrowed' some of it, they should feel no loss, right?

"Remove your cloth." Chacha immediately said.

"Eh? Is that how you want to do it?" Midoriya looked at her with confusion.

They were in a quite spacious room and one of the windows were wide open, seemingly my mistake and without intention; but it was this open window that made Zernon and Midoriya quite confident in dealing with a stranger.

Unless, their numerous life and death experiences would have definitely not allowed them to come into

a strange place.

The four Purple Roses were pleasantly surprised, unlike most men that were instantly struck stunned because of their beauty and body; these two men were very unconcerned and indifferent.

And looking very closely, this kind of indifference wasn't faked but true indifference towards beauty.

Chacha was stunned for a while because of the misinterpretation of her words, her face flushed a bit out of humiliation and anger.

But she restrained herself from launching a verbal assault, because of the plans that circulated in her head.

Her friends had asked her, why she didn't use any guards to straightforwardly finish them off, but she had replied,

"I want to do it myself… not to please anybody but to please my ego."

So she had sent most of her guards away, just to place that pressure on herself.

But she was very confident that she should be able to deal with this man and her friends the other; because she felt that he should be at the second rank at least.

And furthermore, she had some brilliant methods she could use to escape if any unexpected occurs.

"I was interested in you two and I wanted a nice drink with you handsome men," Chacha smiled coquettishly; a smile, so dazzling, it made the whole environment to pale dull in comparison.

Her friends decided to help her, and hiding their contempt, they followed up with more flattering words, bringing up the speculation that if most Hunters were in this particular situation, they would have lost themselves immediately.

Zernon smiled back at her and his gaze moved to the bottle of wine on the stool,

"Okay, let's drink."

Midoriya said nothing, but discreetly, his eyes narrowed slightly; full of suspicion.

Chacha and the rest had cold eyes hidden with fake beautiful smiles. They knew this was a man's weakness- women and lust.

Men controlled the world, but women controlled the men, so in the end, women controlled everything.

"Have a seat." Chacha and the rest continued the pleasantries.

With a loud 'poof' sound, the wine cork was off and a pleasant aroma scented out, but the wine foamed a little bit discreetly, and a small amount of liquid popped out, exhibiting higher than normal

effervescence.

They then carefully kept four glasses a little lined horizontally to each other while keeping two glasses slightly in front of them.

Nothing looked suspicious, they had placed the glasses closer to the both of them and it was quite courteous, also with the way she exquisitely poured the wine, she then placed the wine bottle on the table and it wobbled a little before resting.

Zernon's smile widened as he held the cup up.

Midoriya and the others followed and lifted the cup slightly higher.

"Hehe, to new friendships." Chacha chuckled merrily, but before she could proceed to drink, Zernon interrupted her,

"Please allow me to make a toast," Although Chacha and the rest were eager for Zernon to quickly drink

the wine, and were already very irritated, they forced out a smile and replied 'amicably' "Sure, go ahead."

"I make this toast to you fools; for your life has reached its expiry date."

"I make a toast to you all, for you are going to die, and that is your fate."

"I make a toast to you all breathing corpses, for you have no chance for revenge."

"Cheers!"

Zernon grinned and clicked the cups that were already hanging in the air swiftly, their holders had expressions of intense disbelief, doubt and confusion, but the expression of total and complete horror

and dread superseded all those ones.

Midoriya, too, was very shocked at such weird and very strange toast, he looked at Zernon's smiling face and suddenly, he began to doubt whether, being friends with this kind of person was a good choice.

"H-h-how? How did you, you k-know?!" The 10th, 11th and 12th shrieked in horror, great fear overwhelming their entire bodies. Chacha sat there, looking at Zernon with confusion and unwillingness.

She knew her self-perceived brilliant plan has been thwarted and she felt very unreconciled.

"Do you know how we figured it out?" Midoriya recovered from his shock and turned to look at them, asking very quietly.
