Thank you for coming, Commander Carmen, and Vice-commander, Aiden." Derek said to us.

The pack members, present Alpha, Luna, Beta, and the older generation of leaders came to see us off.

I nodded and entered the vehicle without looking at their reactions.

It has been a week since the conversation with Derek, and now, we are leaving the rosemoon pack today.

"Commander," The warrior driving the vehicle greeted me with respect.

I nodded in response.

Aiden spoke to them for a while before we set off. I could feel their stares on my face through the window, but I didn't look back at all.

'They made their choice and should accept the consequences,' I thought as the vehicle drove off the border of the rosemoon pack.

"Did they feed you well in that pack," Scarlett cupped my cheeks, looking worried.

We entered the border of the goldmoon pack in the evening. Scarlett was waiting for us at the entrance of our house with Hunter.

"Aunt, I am your nephew." Aiden pointed to his face with anticipation.

Scarlett looked at him before turning to my face, "Yes. you are a nephew, but she is my daughter."

Aiden sagged his shoulders and sighed dejectedly.

He wonders If he is related to them, given their biasedness toward carmen.

Hunter patted his son's shoulders, consoling him, "Son. Don't worry. I am here."

Aiden straightened his shoulders and looked at his fathers like an idiot.

His father forgot that he did the same thing months ago.

He took his and his sister's bag and left them to catch up.

He sighed and thought, 'Forget it. I will love myself.' But he couldn't stop the smile on his face.

He knew his sister's temper and how she controlled herself from destroying the rosemoon pack.

He is happy that she is content with their family.

I smiled inwardly at Scarlett's worried eyes and thought, 'It's good to be surrounded by people that love you.'

I took her hands from my cheeks and turned to hunter before looking at her. "Mum, let's go inside the house."

Scarlett took her hands from mine and walked briskly into the house, mumbling, "I will cook something to fatten you up. That disastrous pack wants to starve you to death. How annoying that I can't kill them myself."

Scarlett muttered curses to the kitchen to cook.

I settled on the single couch with my legs crossed while Aiden and hunter sat on the sofa.

Scarlett came in after finishing what she did in the kitchen and settled on a single couch.

"Carmen, explain everything," Hunter said.

"In summary, I have a mate that is lycan. I found the reason for the rosemoon pack's attitude in the past," I brief Hunter and Scarlett on my connection.

"An oracle said to the former alpha and beta that they have great fortune in their pack. My ex-family bloodlines have the moon goddess's blessing, and the blessing is within me," I continued.

Scarlett spoke after I talked, "So that's the reason. They are greedy. It was weird that their attitudes changed immediately.

they would have come to us and see an oracle with you to figure out why you didn't have a wolf years ago."

"You believed them?" Hunter asked.

"Honestly, I didn't want to, but the former alpha mentioned a sign of being blessed, and that is the person will have dreams of prophecy."

"You had those dreams of prophecy?" Scarlett asked.

"Yes, but it is not clear, just many voices, and it is always dark," I answered.

Hunter looked at me seriously, "I will call for an oracle before we leave for the Lycan's kingdom."

"Ah yes, A messenger came to me, and Artemis said for the Lycan's god messenger to come here for me is telling me that our mate is a lycan," I remembered about the messenger.

"A lycan?" Scarlett muttered.

"She said, either a strong warrior, a noble, or royalty," I added.

Hunter ruffled his hair and sighed, "The first two seem better than the last one, but the problem is your mate is a lycan."

Scarlett continued, "You should the rumors of the Lycan king's hatred towards werewolves, and the reasons are unknown."

"But dear, I am happy you have a second chance of having a mate out there," Scarlett smiled at me.

"We will figure things out about your mate later but for now, rest and prepare for tomorrow's meeting with the elders," Hunter said, and Scarlett nodded at his response.

I nod my head.

"Okay, let's eat. dinner is almost ready, my dear daughter." Scarlett bounced off her chair and walked excitedly to the kitchen.

I chuckled inwardly at her excitement to fatten me up.

I woke up to the familiar white ceiling of my room and sighed in contentment.

The familiar chirping of birds I hear every morning made me think, 'It's good to be back.'

I ruffled my hair and got down to prepare for the day and the meeting with the elders.

I dressed in my everyday black outfit and exited my room with my jacket and boxing gloves bag in my hand.

"Good morning." I greeted everyone at the dining table as I put on my jacket and placed my boxing gloves bag on the empty chair.

Aiden yawned and waved at me in greetings.

"Where is Hunter?" I asked as Scarlett placed my breakfast in front of me.

"Good morning dear, Brother went to the rogue's cell with Elder steven," Scarlett said.

'They went to check on two rogues I interrogated in the rosemoon pack,' I nodded in response and started eating my meal while thinking.

I finished eating and cleared the empty plates from the table to the kitchen.

"I am in the training ground." I kissed Scarlett's cheek as I left the house.

The goldmoon pack is a werewolf pack for the Elders.

If the Lycans follow the ancient hierarchy, werewolves do not. There is the werewolves council which consists of the elders. Apart from the Elders in the goldmoon pack, there are warriors, the strongest warriors in the werewolf community, and I am their commander.

It wasn't easy getting the position, and many of the warriors disapproved of me.

I had many challenges trying to take the position from me because they saw me as an outsider, a threat, and they thought I was wolfless until that incident with elder Marley.

I met those challenges and showed them I was worthy of that position, and from then on, I gained a name.

"Commander," The warriors stopped what they were doing and saluted me when they saw me enter.

I nodded at their greeting and waved at them to continue their work.

I entered my favorite area, where the boxing bag stayed with the boxing gloves bag in my hand.

I entered the changing room for females to change my outfit to a training outfit and wore my gloves.

I did some warm-ups, got into position, and started training. I trained for an hour, break, and another hour, which is how I continued my day till noon.

I puffed out as sweat rolled down my cheek with gloves in my hands.

''Commander," I was about to continue till I heard my name.

I turned to a warrior who called me. ''Yes?''

"The Elders request your presence in 30 minutes," The warriors said.

"Got it," I answered.

The warrior left, and I continued to box.

I stopped training, packed my things, and left the training ground.

I entered my home, drank bottled water, had a shower, and dressed up.

The guards bowed their heads in respect before opening the gigantic golden door to the courtroom.

I took a deep breath before entering the room.
