The Corpse at the Music room

Ion's Pov

After she left I stayed away from her even at school but destiny must be playing us because we always crossed our paths.

I know she was also feeling uncomfortable and keep on looking at me.

But I think its for the best she's right I don't owe her or anything its just because of the incident.

Now that its closed and we no longer have a purpose to be with each other.

I saw her at the library in her class hours, she must have skipped her class again.

When I look at her I was surprised to see she was also staring at me.

I was about to speak but she immediately walk away, she must be doing well now without me.

I sighed and drop the manga that I've been hiding in the Physiology book.

I'm not reading that book because I was actually busy reading a manga.

The title was Signs/Symptoms of Love I was actually looking forward about the confession part. I was new with this stuffs so I was looking for a reference.

"Damn I need to wait for the volume 2 in order to know how the man would confessed to her." I blurted.

I just finished the volume One so now I'm looking forwards for the next volume.

As I got out of the library I look around to follow her but there is no one in the hallway.

I heard a piano piece which made me walk into the music room.

"What should I do after this?" I said to myself while holding the door knob.

I drop my head in the door I've never been so frustrated by just opening a damn door.

"What should I tell her?" I thought.

I was so busy thinking and holding the door knob, when it suddenly open and showed gem looking surprise.

I'm also surprise and didn't know what to say the only thing came out from my mouth was.

"Ion?" She said.

"I was just checking if someone was inside, don't you have class why are you here?" I asked looking around the room I notice a man's back in the other side of the terrace.

The music room is somehow a theatre type it has a stage and chairs where everyone can seat. The east and west has a terrace where the teachers spot.

Is she seeing someone? That's why she skipped her class?

"Oh I was not in the mood to attend class so I skipped." She answered but I believe she was lying at me.

She didn't even mention the man with her in the music room what are they doing in the room alone?

Those thoughts make me feel upset and made me blurt out.

"Skipping class? You need to get back into your class now I'm monitoring everyone here at the school to think that you are one of the top students yet you are not a very good role model." I said in a serious voice.

I notice she suddenly stiff and and look at me with a blank expression.

"I'll get going President." She answered coldly and left.

I was stunned on how she acted I must have spoke something that I shouldn't have.

I massage my forehead as leaned it in the wall, I didn't know why I said those words at her I think I overboard.

When I got at the cafeteria Gem seems to be avoiding me, when I notice she stood up and walk away.

So now she's the one who's avoiding me?

The first semester is almost ending and today was the last day of school.

Time has passed so fast but we both are still ignoring each other and I was losing my patience.

I'm currently sitting at my chair in the student council's room while staring out of nowhere.

"Dude your freaking us out you've been torturing every students and members, they barely knock in to see you looking mad and wanted to eat them." Shun said while putting the pile of papers in my table.

"I agree you've been killing as seriously I bet all of the members will resign today." Yohan said.

I ignored them and look at the other way and continued my out of nowhere stare.

The door suddenly open and Vince was gasping for air when he arrive looking pale.

"A body was found at the music room!" He shouted.

"Gem." I blurted an ran out of the student council's room.

I saw a lot of people are outside waiting and talking. Some members of the student council are blocking the door for the students.

"Move!" I shouted they immediately gave a way my hands were trembling to open the door.

"President they are inside we will block the students here." My secretary informed.

"Don't let everyone leave the school!" I said.

I felt the cold sweats running through my face damn this feeling again!

When I opened the door I saw them in the stage so I ran fast towards them.

"Damn." I said while taking out my inhaler.

"Seriously I told you no running!" It was Doc Von nagged at me.

I saw Gem on the floor and some blood were in her uniform.

"S-she was still smiling at me in the morning." She spoke out.

I walk towards her and stood her up.

"What happened?" I asked.

"We both are heading here when a sudden scream was heard. Aly saw her dead and her hands were also missing." Caffe explained.

"Looking at the corpse her head was tilted in the left side while her eyes are still open. It seems like it was looking in that way." I pointed the west terrace of the music room.

"He killed him." Gem suddenly spoke.

"Who-" Aly was cut off when someone shouted.

"Move thats my sister! Elise what happened to her Aly?!" The man wearing an Occupational therapist uniform said while holding her.

"I don't know Jake I f-found her dead near the piano." Aly said while crying.

"This is not true No no Elise wake up baby wake up." The man who is wearing an optometry uniform was holding her arm.

"What do you mean Gem who killed her?" I asked.

"I'm not sure but I saw a guy when we first met here, she was trembling like she was so scared hearing his voice." Gem said thinking carefully what happened.

"What do you mean?! Who is he?!" The man asked while holding Gem in the arm.

"Get your hands of her or I'll break that." I said while pulling Gem beside me.

"Elise?! What happened Elise!" Another man came and ran towards them.

"Its him." Gem pointed.

"You bastard! How could you!" The man pulled her away and punch him in the face.

"Aire no! Stop!" Aly shouted.

Yohan and Shun ran towards the two and holds them.

"What the hell was that Aire!" The man who just came shouted.

"What did you do to her! I told you already to stay away from her!" Aire shouted in anger.

"I didn't do anything! You are exaggerating!" He replied.

"I'm with Zac the whole day its impossible if he is the killer." The other man showed up.

"Will you all stop!" Jake shouted making them all silence.

"I think the suspect is not him." I suddenly spoke.

"What do you mean?" Caffe asked.

"I still don't have the answers yet but I'm pretty sure I saw him here once." I said while looking all of them.

"How about this why don't you all try to stick together to avoid another murder? You might find answers, at the same time you'll be able to protect each other." Doc Von suggested.

"I agree all of us who are here are still suspicious I also don't trust Aly because she is the first one who sees the corpse. In order to find out we need to monitor and find the answers." Yohan said.

"I'm in to prove my innocence." Ally and Caffe replied.

The others also agreed to join but the two seems not but agreed in the end.

I don't know why but I got Yohan's stares.

"Right I'm also might be the suspect here." I replied looking at them.

"Then its settled today was the last day of school it was a great idea I'll talk with Detective Dom about this case." Shun said.

"I'll need all of your names in order to gather informations." I said while handing my phone.

I notice Caffe look at me weirdly and spoke.

"What a sweet wallpaper." She grinned.

My eyes widened and immediately grabbed my phone.

"Y-yohan give me your phone!" I said glaring at Caffe.

Caffe caught the phone and raised her brows at Yohan.

"Effin pervert." She said rolling her eyes and typed.

When everyone provided the names I asked Yohan to send it to me.

"Let's all meet tomorrow at the front gate of the school 5am sharp." I announced.

They all nodded and walked out of the music room.

"Leave this to me I'll wrap this up." Doctor Von said.

I nodded and walk towards Gem who is looking at the west stairs.
