The blood streaming from the room was a clear sign to the men that something definitely wasn't right. There were dead bodies on the floor with some of them having a hole or burnt mark in one part of their bodies.

'This holes are too large to be called a sword stab. Whoever done this must have used something else. What the hell has been happening?' Alex wondered as he turned to the only thing that could give him an answer, and that was the system.

While the two peep through the door of the room that had opened up slightly, they managed to spot someone. Moreover, it was someone they knew.

They noticed that he was in a crouching position, as he hid under the bed with his head placed between his knees.

"Silas!" Damien called out and the fellow who had heard his name instantly lifted his head.

Taking a quick note of the strangers that had appeared in front him, Silas discovered that they were people he knew.

His eyes lit up as he saw them. Instantly, he got out of his hiding spot and started to approach them. There were blood splattered across his face and the white hospital gown he had on him.

"What the hell happened here?" Damien asked.

"I-I really don't know. I only saw a man with a hood slaughtering and killing everyone on his path. He seems to be using some sort of magic or something." Silas explained. "I don't know why, he did nothing to me and just walked past me after killing everyone. But I've been thinking, perhaps he has come to help us escape?"

"He didn't kill you, but he killed the others who were females. Well, that's the only explanation we could give right now." Damien stated.

"Guys, let's get out of here, I don't think he'll spare you if he ever comes across us again." Alex said.

From reading the previous chapters of the novel, he discovered who had caused this mess and why he was doing so. Whoever that person was, they seem to be looking for Alex, and the reason behind the person's search didn't sound pleasant or alive at all.

'Why does he wants to kill me?' He thought, but it can't be figured out unless he meets with that person.

Meeting with someone who wanted to kill you, sounded like a bad idea to him. However, he was more worried when he learnt that this killer could feel his connection and locate his whereabouts. Which means he could be here at anytime.

Before Damien and Silas could say anything, Alex had started running towards the stairs that led to the second floor. Seeing how fearful he was, they could only think he must have discovered something. He was a mage, there's a high chance he knew something or could have discovered something from the attacks of this strange killer guy.

The trio kept on running till they reached the first floor. Here, there were a lot of bodies - dead bodies laying lifelessly on the ground, they all had holes in their body, including that of the guards.

"This place is worst than the second floor, a lot of people were killed, but there isn't a single Male among them." Damien took note.

"You know, I still think that this killer or whatever he's called is the good guy here. If anything, these motherfuckers deserved what they got. And it's not like we're being chased by him or anything. Why are we panicking?" Silas said.

If he could, Alex would have told the two men that the reason why this so called killer was going around killing every female was so he could stop him from leaving this world.

But he knew telling them won't do anything, it would instead raise suspicions from the two to him. They would want to know who he was, or why the killer wants to kill him. And if anything, Alex wasn't willing to tell them about the system or the fact that they weren't real as they were in a novel world created by the author. They would think he's crazy or out of his mind.

While they were busy talking amongst themselves, they heard a bunch of footsteps approaching them, and when they turned to look at who it was, it happened to be the female warriors; consisting of about fifteen of them, all having weapons in their hands.

They seem to have been hiding the whole time, a plan to catch whoever caused these killings. And when they saw Alex and his group, they thought they were the killers. After all, they matched the description that one of the ladies that who had managed to escape, gave to the warriors. They had a hooded cloaks on, and more significantly, they were men.

The warriors, seeing a match to how the killer was described linked to the two men in front of them, had decided to act as they approached them from all corners with their weapons pointed towards them. Although the witness had told them that the killer was wearing a cape while Alex and Damien were wearing a cloak, they didn't care as they thought that the witness must have made a mistake differentiating between the two clothes.

"All of you, go on your knees! You have been surrounded!" One of the warriors shouted, while another had started approaching them, her longsword pointing towards Alex's neck.

She checked his neck for a mark, but unfortunately there was none. An unreadable expression appeared on her face as she realised this, then she turned to look at her partner who also had her sword pointed towards Damien and Silas.

"All three have no bond marks, it's just as we suspected, they are the killers." The warrior said, announcing to her fellow warriors.

"What? We're not the killer, we're just an ordinary person. How could you come to a conclusion based on the fact that we have no bond marks. Every slave in this building doesn't have one." Silas complained.

"But your friends are wearing the same clothing as the killer, isn't so?" The warriors asked.

Now that Silas thought of it, he realised that the two were wearing an almost similar dressing to the Killer's. Due to the killings going on his left and right, Silas didn't take a proper look at the killer's attire. He only knew he had a hood covering his head, he didn't know if it was a cloak or a cape.

"Seeing how you became silent must mean you know who the killer is. You must have knew he was wearing a cloak with a hood over his head, which is what your friends are wearing right now. Doesn't that make them the suspect." The warrior with the longsword sneered at him before gesturing for one of the warriors. "Cuff them."

However, before the warrior could do so, she felt a heavy item crash onto her stomach, making her stumble back a little. And when she finally caught her footings to look at her stomach, she noticed that it was glowing brightly.

Before she could do anything though, the light had gotten brighter, illuminating the whole room and soon after, a popping sound was heard as blood splattered across the floor and body of everyone standing close to her.

The spot where the warrior was standing a few seconds ago had turned to a bloody mess. Instead of the warrior, a skull could be seen replacing her.

"Who did this!" The warrior with the longsword turned to look at the suspected killers, but then she noticed that all of her teammates have been taken out. The only person left was her.

Alex, Damien and Silas looked at the mess that had been created, it wasn't their doing neither did they knew who did this. They were just as surprised as the warrior.

One moment, they saw the stomach of a warrior glowing brightly before the immense light coming from her blew her up into pieces. The illuminating light had blinded them all for a minute and when they opened their eyes to look at the surrounding, they saw the gruesome sight of many of warrior's limb torn apart. Some even had a hole made to their heart.

The trio looked at the sight before them with disbelieving expressions. Who could have achieved such a feat like this. Killing fourteen warriors within a couple of minutes - two minutes.

However, the warrior with the longsword wasn't buying their ignorance. She had no doubt it had to be their doing. Although the seniors had given them the order not to kill the killers, they had also told them to do so if the situation turns out to be difficult. Well, now that she's in a worse situation, she had no other choice but to kill these trio.

She raised her sword as she attempted to stab one of them, but before she could, something heavy had hit the blade of her sword making it glow up brightly and within a few seconds, the sword had blew up as it shattered into several pieces.

Right at that moment, someone had appeared in front of her, the person was standing in between her and the three men.

Instantly, everyone recognised who the person was, including the warrior.

"Aren't you Maria, one of Gynetah's workers? Why are you helping out a bunch of killers?" The warrior asked.

"To answer your question. One, I'm not Maria." As she said this, her body started changing shape as it transformed into something else and a more pretty figure could be seen.

When Alex saw this person, his eyes lit up as he instantly recognised who it was.

"I am Olivia." She replied. "And as for your second question, these guys are not the killer. If anyone should be called a killer, it should be the lots of you!"

With her hand pointed towards the former's chest, an invisible energy had left her palm hitting the warrior on the chest, blowing off her heart.

After the warrior has been dealt with, Olivia had turned to look at the men. Meanwhile, Silas and Damien had instantly inched backwards. After seeing what she could do, they were scared she would do the same thing to them.

Olivia chuckled as she saw their actions but she didn't seemed bothered by it as she went to approach the person she had business with.

"Xup Alex." She said, walking closer to him.

"You…?" Alex stated. When she said she was a mage, he didn't believe her and had thought she was just bragging under a false claim. But seeing her use the so magic to defeat fifteen mages made him muse out in amazement. He was more surprised when he saw that she could also transform into Maria.

"The girl at the arena, so it was you?" He said, his mouth opened wide with a surprised expression.

"Told you I had a few tricks up my sleeve." Olivia giggled as she enjoyed watching Alex's cute expressions. However, she soon notice the look on his face changed into that of a worried one.

Alex had received a notification from the system but it wasn't a pleasant one.
