I woke up and rubbed my eyes. Today, I was returning to school after my suspension. So much happened over a few days the school had suspended me. I laid there for a few minutes before getting up.

Someone knocked and opened my bedroom door. Val ran in and jumped on me.

/"Oomph./"

/"Morning./"

/"Morning. Thanks for hitting my bladder./"

I winced, moving out of bed and heading to the bathroom. Ah, relief. When I finished, I walked back into my room. I saw Val lying on my bed with her head hanging off the side. I crouched and glanced at her.

/"Having fun?/"

/"Always./"

She grabbed my tank, pulling my lips to hers.

As we kissed, Dad sauntered by and paused.

/"Christ, on a bike. Do we need to re-enact the Spider-Man scene?/"

We halted and peeked at him.

Val replied, /"No, but now you mentioned it./"

/"Come on, Val. Out./"
