Ch 2 Dust store

Hazel landed on a roof in vale and started to break down and cry. He was finally free and could do what he wanted the emotions he had took over him and he burst into tears. After awhile he got control of himself and looked at his weapons. He decided to call both guns Jackals. He then pulled out his black sword and named it ragnarok. He then pulled out the golden sword and named it yoru.

He then looked across from the building of where he is at and saw he was across from the dust store that Ruby will be at tonight. Hazel decided to hop down from the building and walk around for a bit taking in the scenery as he could finally see it in real life. He finally came up to a mirror and looked at himself he was so happy with the look. He really liked his ears and tail. Sure some people were mocking him but he didn't care. He thought he could just kill them all but they were so small in the sense of power compared to him that he didn't care for it.

Some hours later.

Hazel was walking into the dust store as he figured it was time for the fun to start. He walked in and the old man grunted at him behind the cash register has he went back to the magazines and the comments. There he saw a girl his age in a red hood with headphones on. He couldn't help but think she is way cuter in person and he picked a comic next to her as he put on some headphones as well. The girl looked up at him and blushed a bit but went back to what she was doing.

'Finally they started' Hazel thought. Roman finally started to enter.

Roman said "Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this late?" While he was twirling his cane.

The shopkeeper started to cower in fear "Please just take my lien and leave."

Roman starts to laugh "We don't want your money" he looks over at his guards "Get the dust."

The henchmen start to walk around and grab the dust and crystals. One of the unfortunate henchmen make his way to Ruby and Hazel. Who both haven't heard anything yet because of the headphones. The henchmen yells " Hey kids put your hands up where I can see them!" He then notices the headphones and grabs them both by the shoulder to turn them around.

Ruby and Hazel both turn around and give him a questioning look. The henchmen gets a little annoyed and points to their headphones so they both take them off.

The henchmen then said again "Put your hands in the air." Ruby was surprisingly the first to speak " Are you robbing us?" The henchman nodded and said "Yes!" Hazel then said "Oh" as he looked at Ruby and gave her a nod.

Roman was just watching the owner when he heard glass shatter. He turned and saw Ruby twirling her scythe over her beaten up henchmen. With a cowboy looking faunus right next to her but what happened next took him back a bit. Hazel was standing over the henchmen now he pulled out one of his Jackals and shot him in the head killing him. Ruby jumped back real quick. "What did you do that for!" Ruby yelled. Hazel just shrugged "he was scum anyways we only need one alive to interrogate later anyways." Hazel let out a smirk when he said this. Ruby was a bit concerned but needed to focus on Roman and the rest.

Roman then said while looking at the other henchmen "Okay..... get them." Ruby got ready to fight and while the henchmen went after her she started to twirl around her scythe again while she faced a couple henchmen. Two more went after Hazel. Hazel was just dodging all their movements easily. He hadn't even pulled out his swords yet. He pulled out both Jackals and shot both of their kneecaps. He then went over to them and shot them both in the head. He turned and saw Ruby finished with her two henchmen as well. He started to walk over but then Ruby yelled " You can leave these two alive." Hazel just looked at her for a second before he said "Okay" in a bored voice.

Roman said " You were worth every cent. Truly, you were. Well. Red, cowboy I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening, and as much as I'd love to stick around and chat I'm afraid this is where we part ways."

He fired some dust from his cane at them. Hazel goes in front to block Ruby from the blast. Then smoke fills the area. Once the smoke clears they both see Roman is heading towards the top of the building. Ruby and Hazel jumped up after him.

Roman jumps on the bullhead and snarls while he says "Persistent". He then throws a red crystal at the two and yells "End of the line!" He then fires from his cane at the two. Hazel grabbed Ruby and jumped back as he saw Glynda block the attack. Roman ran to the Cockpit and yelled "We got a huntress." As a mystery woman got up and headed towards them.

Glynda started to attack them with shards of concrete from the explosion. As Ruby started to fire at the lady in the dress. Hazel also started to fire both his Jackals. Causing the lady in the bulkhead to back up because she couldn't keep up with all the attacks. Finally the bulkhead was able to take off just as Hazel grazed the lady across the cheek. After that Ruby rushes towards Glynda saying "Can I have your autograph." Glynda frowned and told the two to follow her.
