Useful little bugs

I committed myself to stopping Cardin from bullying the Faunus students. However, he has yet to actually get punished for it all. Which allowed me to come up with a scheme of sorts. Pyrrha Nikos wanted to help Jaune. Cardin wants to bully Jaune. If I give Cardin the right material he will blackmail Jaune.

I've been studying the little bastard for a while. I can say confidently he would use any means to get Jaune under his thumb to torment him more. So if I manipulate information correctly I can get Cardin to blackmail Jaune. With this I can manipulate the Cardin, Jaune and Pyrrha into a more beneficial place.

Someone was already trying to open doors and prevent punishment for Cardin. The question of who? Well that was obvious to me. A quick trip to Junior's bar and a few questions. I got what I was looking for. As it turns out, the Winchester family is a family of 5. Cardin is the youngest child, sucks to be him. However interestingly enough he has an elder sister. Who is married to a man named Hamel Hendricks. The brother of the Hendricks who works here in beacon. Meaning Cardin got in Beacon through Nepotism!

It made me smile, it also explained a lot. Cardin and Jaune had very similar family dynamics. The differences however include Jaune missing his father, Cardin having two fathers, and so on so forth. Which adds more drama! As it means Cardin is an adopted child. Junior had to do a little extra digging for this one, but as it turns out Cardin's parents were murdered by the White Fang!

It was just so cleanly wrapped up in a tight little bow. The question was how would I begin this plan of mine. I had to somehow give Cardin information to blackmail Jaune. Which was obvious on what information. All i required was the right settings. I could call Jaune in for semblance training. The question was how do I get Cardin to eavesdrop?

I had been observing the students behavior. I can't say for certain that Cardin will go out of his way to stay behind in class to eavesdrop on Jaune's private training. Specially since the next class was the sparring class.

I got an idea. The question was if Pyrrha was willing to sacrifice Jaune to save himself. I knew she could sacrifice herself perfectly fine, but her friends? Ah, but unless its a life threating injury one can't be admitted to the nurse's office. I can't just have Pyrrha beat the guy and have him walk back past this classroom. In that situation I would doubt he would even be walking there by himself. I sighed, in the progress of strengthening the student's Aura they were forced to heal all non-threating injuries themselves.

The plan had to start with Jaune doing some semblance training otherwise... Actually, I knew exactly how to get Cardin to eavesdrop on Jaune's training. Cardin was trained, he was getting by on this physical training of his. He also knew how to use his aura well, but had some hiccups in his control. Due to this his semblance is actually undiscovered. Which means his semblances is either situational like Nora's or had extra requirements like my own.

A simple action of saying, Jaune stay after class. Saying 'I have a sure fire way of helping you discover your Semblance.' Shouldn't be to far of a stretch to say Cardin will eavesdrop after that. Sometimes simplicity really was the best option and I shouldn't overthink.

I looked at my clock. Sure enough class would begin in an hour. I guess I should organize my actual lesson. I was perfectly fine being a teacher, I had spent at least a decade just training new recruits. That was one of my best time periods of my life.

Today's lesson was semblances. This would be perfect to dig into some of the students. Not just Jaune and Cardin though, I could use Yang as an example of over using ones semblance in combat. I frowned however, Blake Belladonna was a difficult one to manage though. The only useful information I had was that she is a Faunus and that she is hiding this fake because she once was a White Fang member.

Some of the other students had similar problems. Blake was average, the same applied to about 50% of the other students. They either just lacked the aura for extensive use of their semblance. Lacked the power behind their semblance or their semblance was too situational. Nora was a situational case, but an easy to use one. How would I help the kid with the semblance related to swimming?

Throw him into varying liquids? Some semblances really weren't balanced. I cracked my knuckles, I had everything ready. Might as well see who arrives early to class.
