Resolution

After her argument and rant with Ruby, Weiss walked over to the balcony of the higher buildings in Beacon Academy.

She wanted to clear her mind here, when suddenly, she noticed Jin leaning against the railings with his arms crossed, and with the sunset behind him.

If a photographer saw this scene right now, they would immediately take a picture of his model-like figure, as the background of the scene was just too beautiful and perfect.

Curiosity filled her mind as she wondered why Ruby's brother was here too at the moment, "Jin?"

"Hey Weiss, how are you?" Jin smiled, yet it was not a smile.

"What are you doing here?" Weiss couldn't help but ask.

Jin's smiling face then turned into a serious look. His eyes narrowed as he moved out of the railings and slightly moved towards the white haired girl.

Weiss was a little nervous at he was doing, "Uhh, what do you-.."

"Weiss, we need to talk," Jin said before crossing his arms again. Weiss complied, and they walked over near the railings, now face to face with each other.

"So, care you explain why were you acting like that towards Ruby? Did she do something to you? Tell me what's wrong, and I could possibly help."

Even though Jin already had an idea of why, he still wanted to hear them from Weiss herself. He needed to also tell this girl on what Ruby feels about things.

Weiss frowned at him and barked, "Your sister is acting like a complete nuisance! She's supposed to be a leader, but she's not acting like one! She's so immature! If anything, she's going to be a let down and a burden to the team!"

Jin was unfazed at her words, "Oh? Then tell me, who should be the leader of team RWBY?"

"ME! I deserve it! I studied and trained hard to be a Huntress! Now, all that studies and training went for nothing because a little brat became a leader instead of me!"

"Is that really your reason?" Jin asked while raising an eye brow.

This just made the heiress' anger vanish, and was replaced with confusion. She looked at the man with a surprised face and asked, "W-What?"

"Is that your reason why you're acting like that towards Ruby, because you didn't like about her in becoming the leader?" Jin said with a disappointed tone.

"And what about it? You've seen how exceptional I am! I may not be as strong as you, but I can still say I'm better than your sister!"

Jin just sighed and replied with a disappointed look on his face, "Weiss...the way your acting right now is not like someone who trained, or studied hard to become a huntress. Your more of a spoiled little princess that didn't get what she wanted."

He then continued, "Not being rude, but your exceptional skills is only matched by your snotty attitude...You know, it kinda reminds me of some of the more...radical members of your family."

Weiss immediately became angry at that comment, "What?! How dare you talk to me like that!"

She hated it, she hates it if she was compared to the corrupt members of her family. In fact, she already hated it if people would give out the smallest mention of relation with her and the corrupt individuals of her family.

The Schnee Dust Company was known for its 'controversial labor forces and questionable business partners', implying a bad reputation, or they have some kind of criminal undertakings. And many members of her family is responsible of that.

"See what I mean," Jin pointed out, "From what I observed from you; you are a very serious girl who almost got everything she wanted and lashed out on whoever thought of you negatively."

Weiss glared at the male Rose and she crossed her arms, "That's not even remotely true."

"Really..." Jin growled, his eyes gleaming with silver light for a moment.

The heiress flinched at his tone and saw his eyes glowing sharply. She noticed the stern look on his face, and she relented, "Ok it's...somewhat true."

*Sigh* "Well, it's only been a day and you're already judging Ruby as a leader. If I was the leader I would have seen you as a drag." Jin said with a harsh tone, which caused Weiss to flinch again.

"You think that it was easy for Ruby to become a leader? She's never been in that kind of position before. It's only been a day and being a leader is not easy. Some were a natural born leader while some were made. What you're doing right now is not a sign of being a good leader."

"But I worked hard in my path on becoming a huntress! I am definitely more capable in being the leader of the team!" Weiss said, full of indignation.

"And you think everyone else didn't? Ruby and I worked our butts off to become good students in Signal. We got the Headmaster's attention because he saw potential in us and offered us to be in Beacon at the age of 15 and that's saying a lot." Jin said before letting out a sigh.

"Look, my point is...So what? The outcome didn't fall into your favor. Do you really think that Ozpin's going to change his mind if you act like a kid and throw a tantrum, just because you didn't get what you want?"

Hearing those words, Weiss hung her head down in shame of a realization.

He was right, she was also acting like a child, not just Ruby. She shouldn't have let her temper go off on the younger girl earlier. Ruby didn't deserve that.

She then looked up to Jin, hoping that he has something to say that would help her. The man himself saw the regret and pleading look in her eyes, and he smiled in comfort.

"You know, you can simply just give Ruby a chance. You said that you've studied and trained really hard, right?" Jin said and Weiss gave an affirmative nod.

"Then guide her. You said that you know how a leader should be, then guide Ruby in becoming a good leader. Not to prove that can be the better leader, but to be a better person. Besides, if you continue on with that attitude of yours, then you'll find yourself lonely, all alone." Jin's voice softened at the end.

Weiss just slowly lowered her head in understanding. Seeing this, Jin placed a hand on her shoulder, "Think about it, Weiss. You can be a better person.....Oh, and I have to say, you're already much farther in that regard in comparison to the rest of your family."

His words caught Weiss by surprise, "What?"

"Judging in how you got angry when I mentioned you, being like your family. I already know that you don't like them, and didn't want to be like them. You are against your family's treatment towards your company's workers, and the shifty business partners your father has to deal with."

Weiss stared at him in shock, 'He...already knows that much from just judging my reaction?'

"Well, keep following that path and you can become a better, and if not, then a great person in no time."

Weiss couldn't help but have a small smile to grace her beautiful face as she began to have some compicated thoughts.

"I guess, I can do it.....Thanks, Jin." She muttered.

"Well, I wouldn't want a cute girl like you to be sad and alone now, right.....What? You think I didn't hear you?"

Weiss was surprised again, and she was slightly flustered as she blushed at Jin's words and warm smile. He then gestured her to come to the railing with him. To which she nodded and walked over with him, admiring the sunset together.

"Hey," Weiss spoke out, "Did you hear.....I think..."

"Did I what?"

"You know what, I think...No, you definitely heard the argument I had with Ruby earlier." Weiss said knowingly, well aware of the Elite Student's heightened senses and intuition.

"Of course I did. You kept yourself screaming in there, hehe..."

"Hmmm…" Weiss felt gulity and somewhat irritated while looking at Jin.

Indeed she felt bad for her actions, but for some reason, she sensed some strange teasing intent in his tone, even though it wasn't the right time to do that.

She then stared at the sunset, wondering what he would think about her, "So…"

"You were harsh on her," The male Rose spoke sternly.

"You said things that you shouldn't have, and you made her kinda depressed. To be honest, if you don't redeem yourself to her right now, I would be very disappointed in you."

"Of course you're taking her side.....Sorry..." The Glyph caster muttered, feeling bad about her actions...and a little betrayed.

Jin shook his head, "No, both of you were at fault. While you could've handled it better, you did point out that she was going too far with her childishness, which was something she needed to hear. Ruby on the other hand, was goofing off in order to make herself feel comfortable, which I can understand, but she went a little out of control, especially with the nose picking bit. Yang's going to talk to her about it if she hasn't already, but the point is that both of you screwed up and both of you need to fix it."

Weiss was silent for a moment, taking in and deciding what to do after everything what this man just told her.

"You're right. I need to fix this. We both have to." A smile appeared on her face, and she turned to Jin.

"You're not really...bad. Thanks again, Jin. You really helped me out a lot today, and I really appreciate it."

"Hmm, I thought you were a prideful tsundere that would not thank people openly..."

"What do you mean?!" Weiss grumbled, feeling a little irritated at his words.

"Nothing.....I just wanted to help you take care of yourself. So no worries, my Snow Angel." Jin said softly, with a smile on his face as well.

Weiss lightly blushed and was taken aback at his words. It was then that the two of them turned their attention back to the sunset, enjoying the comfortable silence.

Meanwhile...

"Ah, it's good to see such a wondrous pair getting along so well."

"Oh my..."

"They do make a great couple, don't they?"

"They do actually..."

"I...don't like it."

"I guess I was right about her."

Unbeknownst to the 'sunsetting' pair, some familiar figures was peeking at the entrance of the balcony behind them, watching the two having a small piece of that moment.

It was Ruby, Yang, Jaune, Ren, and Nora, as well as a certain Professor, who was suppose to go here to admire the sunset too.

"Right about what?" Ren asked.

"Right about my guts, telling me that those two are bound to get together eventually. It happened when Jin first asked Weiss on a date. Sure, he did that to do some teasing, but I feel like he had some other motive..." Yang said.

"I stand corrected." Jaune said.

"So when do guys think they'll get together?" Nora asked with an abnormally wide grin.

"Ohhh. I think...it might happen before the school year is over." Jaune spoke out his thoughts.

"I don't like it..." 'Stay away from him you crabby...' Ruby scowled, looking at Weiss with a frowning face.

"Oh, OH! I'm gonna arrange a bet! A bet about on when it will happen!" Yang blurted out, which piqued the interest of the others.

"Personally, I'd give it a few months. Either during one of the school field trips, or immediately after." The slimy sister continued.

"Hey, can we join?" Nora asked with an excited face.

"Of course! The more, the merrier!" Yang grinned.

"Ok, I bet it would be less than two months. 300 Lien tops." Ren spoke his bet.

"Two and a half months! 350 Lien tops!" Nora loudly, yet quietly, yelled.

"One and a half month! 500 Lien!" Yang declared.

'Looks like I have to pull some strings to make the ship arrive earlier...' Yang thought with a scheming smirk.

"Great!" Jaune quietly exclaimed, "I'll tell Pyrrha about it too. I'm sure she'll join in."

"Ho-ho, I wonder if an instructor like me can join in on the fun." Peter Port guffawed.

"Of course you can Professor! In fact, I'll let everyone in the school get in on this!" Nora said with a playful grin.

"I'll get Blake on this too. She looks like someone who would be interested in these kinds of stuff." Yang said before rubbing her hands sinisterly.

"Ohh, I can smell the Lien already, I can already imagine my wallet getting fat. That pool's going to be huge once everybody joins in."

"Huh? What does a pool have to do with any of this? I thought you guys were betting, not swimming," Ruby asked innocently, causing everyone in the area to laugh.

"What?"

"Ah, Sis," Yang breathed out and putted an arm around her confused sister, "Don't ever change."

'Those little...'

They didn't know.....They didn't know that Jin actually heard them and was annoyed in how they are scheming and betting something on him.

'You sneaky slimy dirtbags! I'm on to your sh*t, Yang!'

"Huh? Jin, is there something wrong? Why do you look so annoyed?" Weiss asked.

"I just remembered something.....unpleasant."
