Chapter 4: CFVY X JSPR PT 3

The rain will pour hard as Joseph wearing a green cape walked through the forest.

Joseph POV

I will look down from a ledge and slide down the mudslide to the ground. 

Me: "Where are you?"

 I will continue to walk down the forest as I begin to get worried. 

"All clear, Boss."

I will stop and hide in a bush looking at the individuals who approached from the opposite end of the forest. Two White Fang members, and one girl wearing a cloak.

Me: "White Fang....."

The girl will look around before nodding at the white fang members.

Mysterious girl: "Good, have we found that bullhead crash site?"

White Fang Lizard: "We found the cockpit part of the Bullhead, the pilot died."

Mysterious Girl: "And the kids?"

The White Fang members seemed nervous and looked at each other.

White Fang Cat (Not Blake): "3 escaped...."

The Mysterious Girl seemed shocked.

MG: "They took quite a fall....hm..must've had helped..and the last person?"

White Fang Lizard: "She...hasn't been found..."

MG: "Hm.....and I thought you two were the best trackers in this branch of the White Fang."

White Fang Cat: "We just need more time....yeah...more time...."

The caped figure will raise her hand at the two as burning glass erupted from her dress impaling them.

MG: "Failure won't be tolerated."

Me: "Her....the one who has half of the maiden power..." I will say as I grip my sword tightly. "I don't have any girls so....I will take her alive and cut off her limbs....stabilize her....and once I get back to Beacon kill her and give the powers back to Amber."

My skin will turn to a gold hue as I prepared to strike the mysterious women.

"Help.....please..."

I will ungrip my sword and look around me again.

Me: "Damn it...next time..."

The MG will look around at the forest and shrug before retreating into the bushes.

I will run in the opposite direction of her using my semblance to increase my speed.

Me: "Come on....come on..."

I will continue running looking up at the tree tops.

Me: "That tree has some burn marks..."

I will continue running before stopping at a couple of twigs broken. I will kneel and touch them.

Me: " Now this....isn't natural...."

I will look to my right and spot a leaf with dirt on top of it. 

Me: "Something ran through here...overturned this leaf.....and....stepped on this branch...."

I will follow the trail of broken twigs until coming to footprint. 

Me: "Hm?"

I will place a hand on the footprint. 

Me: "A Sabyr....."

I will look in the direction of where the footprints lead.

Me: "Hope that's where you are, Coco." 

I will then stand up and run keeping my eyes on the footprint.

~Coco POV~

I will wake up when I hear growling. My eyes will widen as I look to my left in fear as a Sabyr. I will look for my purse and find it close to me. Hiding my pain I will grab my purse and used it to hold up the bullhead wing as I shimmied out. I will look at my legs and I can tell they are in really bad shape. The Sabyr will rush at me and grab the purse from my hand as I tried desperately to hold onto it.

Me: "Damn it...." 

The Sabyr will turn to me with those piercing red eyes which will strike fear into anyone. 

Me: "No...no...no...stop...."

The Sabyr will rush at me showing his jaw as he lunged at me. Suddenly a figure will appear from the shadow and lunge at the Sabyr grabbing it's body and slamming it to the ground before taking out two swords and stabbing it into the Sabyr firing off multiple rounds. My eyes will widen as I realize who it was.

Me: "Joseph...."

~Joseph POV~

I will kill the Sabyr and look around before spotting Coco with her legs broken on the ground. I will jog towards her.

Me: "Coco, you are in bad shape, hold on."

I will grab Coco and drag her underneath a small part of bullhead which happened to conveniently form a nice little shelter. 

Me: "This might knock you out, but you should be ok when you wake up." I will say as I stab a stim into Coco's leg. 

Coco will look at me suddenly howling can be heard behind me as multiple Beowolves, Manticores, and 1 Goliath will appear.

Me: "Don't worry, I will handle this, get some rest."

I will stand up and walk away from Coco as I took out my swords. Coco's eye will close as the only thing she can see is Grimm being decapitated or burned. 

~Timeskip in the early morning~

I will stand in the forest clearing, holding my shoulder as multiple and I mean multiple Grimm laid around me dead. I will look at the sky as the sun begins to rise. 

Me: "I've been at this for 8 hours..I think...I deserve a break..better head to evac..." 

I will walk over to Coco and looked at her legs.

Me: "Still banged up...she will need...medical care....hopefully this doesn't disqualify her from being a huntsman."

I will pick up Coco and hoist her over my shoulder, I will pick up her handbag and clip it to my belt. I will grab Coco's beret and place it in my pocket as I begin to walk out of the clearing into the forest. 

~Timeskip 20 minutes~

I will continue walking through the forest until I stopped as I heard a groaning noise behind me. I will look at Coco as the pain in her legs begin to affect her as she begins to wince in pain.

Me: "We are almost there....just hold on...."

I will walk through the forest for another couple of minutes before stopping at another forest clearing as the Stalker made it's approach and landed. Medical Personnel will walk out and take Coco off my shoulders and place her in a stretcher.

Persephone will run up to me and hug me.

Persephone: "Welcome back."

Me: "Good to be back."

Samuel: "So....how was it?"

Me: "The??"

Samuel: "The rescue mission."

Me: "Well, there was some slight complications."

Rachel: "Like?"

I will hop onto the Stalker.

Me: "You know the basic, Grimm."

SPR: "Ooooh."

The Stalker will take off and pass by Joseph's little complication.

Rachel: "Wow..."

Rachel will look in amazement at the big black smoke which was the Grimm decaying. Rachel will look at Joseph who was taking a nap.

Rachel: "Not bad, 1."

~Coco POV~

I will hear beeping and quickly wake up.

???: "Don't push yourself."

I will look to my left as Joseph was laying down on a hospital bed playing a game on his scroll. 

Joseph: "I don't know why they insist I stay here, I'm perfectly fine. They even said they want to roll me out of here in a wheel chair! I know me rights. I wanted to talk to their manager, but then they said they only had a dean."

I will look at him before rubbing my eyes.

Joseph: "So, how are you feeling?"

Me: "Well, how else do you think someone will feel after losing their whole entire team? And having their legs basically crushed."

Joseph: "Wow, can't believe the person I saved is not at least saying thank you. Your legs will also heal you just have to be in a wheel chair."

I will sigh.

Me: "Thank you."

The door will open as Ozpin will walk into the room.

Ozpin: "Ms Adel, nice to see that you are awake."

I will look down.

Me: "Have you alerted my team's family?"

Ozpin will look at Coco confused.

Ozpin: "Your team is very much alive, Ms Adel."

The door will open as all of CFVY runs to Coco and hug her.

Velvet: "They kept on telling us that you died, but I didn't believe them."

Fox: "Don't scare us like that again!"

Yatsu: "I'm glad you are fine."

I will begin to sob as I tightly hug my team.

Me: "I'm sorry for my actions as a leader...next time....I promise.....I will be better!"

FVY will cry as well.

~Joseph POV~

I will smile at CFVY before looking at Ozpin as he points to the door. I will walk out with Ozpin.

Ozpin: "Good work on getting, Ms Adel back."

Me: "Sorry about me not getting the fall maiden..."

Ozpin will sigh.

Ozpin: "It's fine, Beacon's student security is #1 priority."

Me: "Yeah...." 

Ozpin: "There will be other opportunities I'm sure."

Me: "What's next?"

Ozpin: "Well, the semester is about to end, so I'm going to give JSPR a break."

Me: "Oh, I almost forgot."

Ozpin: "CFVY might not be 100%, so I want JSPR to escort the members back to their respective home."

Me: "Mhm...."

Ozpin: "You will escort Ms Adel back home, and ensure she is safe before heading back to Atlas."

Me: "Alright, Professor."

Ozpin: "Give James my regards, and Joseph?"

Me: "Yeah?"

Ozpin: "You are going into that wheelchair when you exit the hospital."

Me: "I know me rights!"

Glynda will appear with her disciplinarian and whip it at the air.

Me: "On second thought....I want a wheelchair. I want it with red flames on the wheels though."

Ozpin: "I am sure we can afford that."
