as oobleck explaining at how long they could continue to track the lone grimm to lead it to its pack, "its uncertain, hours, days, weeks, why lone grimm have been known to stand isolated from the pack for months- and there's the whole pack." he stopped as they saw a pack of beowolf grimm arrived.

"what!" exclaimed weiss "and now they've seen us" said oobleck calmly "what?!" exclaimed weiss again loudly "and now they've seen us!!" yelled oobleck at weiss "tracking is now out of option" said pyrrha readying her spear and shield "an accurate assumption, yes." said oobleck then they look at him waiting for his orders. he look at us and said "show me what you're capable of."

then they charge towards the grimms "it's time to test this gauntlets" said yang as she dash towards a grimm punching it head covered skull killing it instantly she look at her new gauntlet surprised then grinned. all of them killed all the grimms while oobleck just walk around calmly. sometimes he crouched down to get some samples.

blake who is getting used to her bracelet with a ribbon attached to her weapon slashing, swingin and pulling herself or a grimm towards a grimm. then oobleck stand at the center looking at the grimms that were killed "excellent work students! unfortunately there dont seem to be any signs of criminal operations in this sector. oh well, moving on!" said oobleck.

"hey doc you know i was actually looking forward to seeing pro huntsman in action. like fighting or at least helping us fight?" said yang to oobleck "ah, but i am in action, scouring the ruins of this once great city for any sign of irregularity. not every mission is filled with daring and heroism. sometimes it's just a heightened form of extermination. remember, this is a job, and you all signed up for it. i do hope you understand." said oobleck and he walk away.

"he's not wrong" said ren and they all nodded and follow oobleck. as they killed a another pack of grimms then oobleck walk towards yang saying something to her. after he's done talking with yang he walk away leaving yang who is in deep thought. he also talk to weiss, blake, pyrrha, ren and nora after he talk to them they also have a look on their face thinking deeply.

ian seeing this thought of what oobleck said to them but didnt bother asking them now as they still seriously thinking deeply. 'i wonder what he said to them and just left both me and ruby' ian thought to himself. as they finished another batch of grimm both ian and ruby could be seen playing with zwei then oobleck walk towards them.

"sorry! uhh, are we ready to keep going?" ask ruby "no, i believe that will have to do for today. it's going to be dark soon. you six, set up a camp in that building. oh and please do make sure that there are no more of those, creatures. your leaders and i are going to secure the perimeter. come, ruby, ian." oobleck said as he threw his bag towards yang and walk away following behind him is the 2 leaders of both team.

as they followed oobleck they then turned beside the ruined building just to see a forest and a big elephant grimms walking inline, ruby exclaimed in amazement "what is that? it looks awesome" she ask oobleck "that my dear girl, is a grimm." answered oobleck and ruby eyes wide in amazement "lets kill it" she said a she readied her weapon.

but ian stop her. "im afraid your sniper rifle wont do any damage to them other than agitate a grimm with that size" he said to ruby "but what if it attacks us?" ruby ask in worry then oobleck assured her "fret not ruby those goliaths are not concerned with us. ruby, not every grimm is mindless. or rather not every grimm is still mindless. you see the grimm you see before you are so powerful , so superior to the grimm you fought. that they've undoubtedly live hundreds of years. and in that time between killing humans, and attacking our borders, they've done one important thing."

"they've learned" ian continued at what oobleck were explaining to ruby and ian "they've learned that when they attack our border or kill human, they're likely to die. and that killing one human, will only bring more." ian continued and oobleck nodded at what he said "then, why are they still so close to the city? what are they doing?" ask ruby "waiting" responded oobleck.

oobleck then look at ian "looks like you know alot about grimms. ian" he said "because i wont be here alive if i didnt study and learned about them" ian said as he walk away going towards the building where his team and ruby team camping. but he stopped as he heard ruby ask oobleck a question that intrigued him 'so he was interrogating them about being a huntsman and huntress' ian thought to himself .

"actually, i was wondering... why did you want to become a huntsman?" ian look at oobleck waiting for his answer, "look around you and tell me what you two see." oobleck didnt answer her but instead ask question to them. "lots of buildings, uhh, empty streets." said ruby looking around. "lives that could be saved." ian said solemnly.

and oobleck nodded "exactly, i see lives that could've be saved. as a huntsman, it is my job to protect the people. and althought i am capable of doing it with traditional weaponry, i believe i can make a much larger impact if i do it with my mind. as a teacher i am able to take knowledge, the most powerful weapon of them all, and place it into the hands of every student that passes through my classroom. i look at this wasteland and i see lives that could've been saved. but i also see an opportunity. an opportunity to study this ruins and learn from this tragedy. and become stronger."

he stopped and look at us "i am a huntsman, because there is nothing else in this world i would rather be." after saying that he walk away "that was supposed to be me walking away coolly." muttered ian and ruby giggled. then they head towards the camp.

as we arrived i walk towards my team "why look so glum? you have your own reasons why you want to be a huntsman and huntress, whether that reason is right or wrong its your own choice, your own path you take. so dont worry about it." ian said to them while grinning. and they nodded at him gratefully.

then we heard oobleck giving instructions "we have alot of grounds to cover tomorrow and we'll need you to take turns. keeping watch our temporary abode, any volunteers for first watch?" then me and ruby raised our hands "yo" "i'll do it"

oobleck nodded "good you two will take the first watch" then he dashed away as ian and ruby about to head out yang stopped them. "hey, did oobleck ask you both why you wanted to be a huntress and huntsman? i mean, what did you tell him." she ask ian and ruby. "hm, no he didnt, weird. oh well, goodnight guys." responded ruby and ian just shrugged and walk away.
